He was just smiling and interacting with all the fans as usual, when all of a sudden, his senses picked up on a particular scent......and realization hit him like an arrow.
Jin
Jin was flabbergasted at the thought that his mate was a fan. Checking around to make sure that none of the staff or people he knew were emitting this scent that clearly drove his mind crazy, he settled into his seat.
But the more he thought about it, the more he liked that his mate was a fan, someone who wouldn't be opposed to the fact of being his completely. He had something to look forward to now.
You were also terribly excited to meet Jin, your bias, and it was finally your turn with him.
The moment he saw you, he sat back and stared at you, completely stunned. Even his inner wolf was stunned into silence. To him, you were the most beautiful person he had ever seen before. It didn't even hurt his ego to say that you were even more beautiful than himself. The way your hair flew in the breeze, the way your lips turned up to smile at him, the way you frowned when all he did was stare at you......you were just so perfect.
"Uh...Oppa?"
He finally smiled back and winked, saying,
"Hi, Jagiya. It's your lucky day."
Yoongi
Yoongi was shocked. He hadn't expected his mate to be a fan, not in the least. When you were standing in front of him, smiling in utter happiness, he just blinked at you. Your eyes, your hair, your smile and even your skin stunned him to silence......but the fact that you were a fan kept bugging his mind. He quickly jotted down his signature and watched your face as you rattled off about his August D persona, having no clue about what was going on within his head. But when the staff finally asked you to move along, and you just about started to, he reached out to grab your hand, effectively stopping you. He held you in place but could do nothing other than stare, and even you stared back, shocked. With prodding from the staff, he let go of your wrist and watched as you moved on to Taehyung next. His heart was beating at the speed of a race car....and his wolf wouldn't stop yelling at him. That's when he realized.......he had just let go of his mate.......fan or not.
Jhope
His heart started beating erratically. There, you stood in front of him, glowing like the sun. His mate. His hope.
He was so surprised that he had just frozen, eyes wide.
Your excited smile faltered.
"Oppa...?"
Jimin, who was sitting next to him, noticed the situation and leaned in to see what was going on.
"Hyung?"
Your turn was almost over, and he hadn't even signed yet. Before you knew it, the staff had motioned for you to move on.
"No, wait, I- ah!" The girl next in line pushed you from behind and you stumbled forward, grabbing on to the table covers to steady yourself.
That's when it snapped in him.
"Hey!" he stood up, sending his chair flying to the ground behind him. He swished a hand forward and cut in between you and the girl behind you. And under the gaze of every person present at the venue that day, including yours, he said, "No one hurts my hope!", giving you the warmest smile you'd ever seen in your life.
Namjoon
He became so excited that the fans were surprised by his newfound energy. He was usually the cool and composed leader during fanmeets, but this time, he couldn't help but let his wolf take over. He'd been waiting for so many years to find his mate and the fact that he was finally going to see you felt like an early holiday. He didn't really care that his mate was a fan. All he wanted was to see you. Each time a new fan came up to him, his heart jumped to his throat. Soon enough, it was your turn. The moment you stepped in front of him, he knew. Your scent was just so intoxicating. The person whom he had been waiting an eternity for had finally turned up. His heart couldn't be more complete. Sitting back in his chair, he sighed, smiling in satisfaction.
You were a bit shocked by his reaction, but his next words shocked you even more.
"Y/N, is it? You don't know how long I've waited for you."
Jimin
The moment he saw you, he felt his whole body heat up. His heart started pounding in his chest and his inner wolf was on a whole other level. But his mate....a fan?
The strangled look he gave you was enough to shock you.
"Oppa, are you alright? You don't look so good!"
Your voice sent shivers down his body.
He opened his mouth to say something but the words were stuck in his throat. There was no way he could accept a fan as his mate.....
Your brows furrowed in concern.
You started feeling weird. Jimin wasn't saying a single word to you, nor was he jotting down his autograph. He was staring at you like he'd seen a ghost. You reached a hand up to check if your hair was alright, if your face was alright.......was there something wrong with you?......you suddenly felt really sad. Before you knew it, your eyes had filled up with tears. When Jimin realized how his reaction had affected you, he immediately felt his heart fill with regret.
"No, no! Don't cry!" he hurriedly reached out to grab your hand and placed his other hand on your face.
He realized that, fan or not, you were his mate.....and he just couldn't bear to see you sad.
The look on his face was so sincere, you felt like it was just the two of you alone in another world.
He used his thumb to wipe a stray tear on your cheek.
"I'm so sorry, my baby. I'll take good care of you from now on."
Taehyung
He was surprised, to say the least. He'd been having an inkling for a while that his mate would be a fan. He just hadn't expected to find you at a fansign event. What with all the eyes on him.....real ones and digital ones.....
His brows furrowed as he met fan after fan, waiting for 'the one' to show up. When you were finally standing before him, it was as if his breath had been knocked away. You were so beautiful....so perfect....yet, his heart clenched with the thought that he wouldn't be able to make a move in the middle of the spotlight. He watched your face as you spoke about his voice and his songs, and even laughed when you told him how ethereal and flawless he looked. With every second that passed, Taehyung could feel his wolf raging within to be set free and claim his mate, and it was all he could do to hold himself back. When it was time for you to move on, he smiled at you sadly. You had been planning to tell him something for a while but you didn't know how to tell him. The moment you saw the sad smile on his face, you felt your heart break and you immediately said, "Oppa, you're my bias!"
That's when he felt his heart light up to a whole other level. Eyes widened, he stood up from his seat and leaned forward. It didn't matter that the world was watching. All that mattered was that he'd finally found you. Placing his arms around your shoulders, he pulled you into a tight hug.
"And you're my bias."
Jungkook
He immediately turned to Jimin, who was sitting next to him, and said, "Hyung, I feel weird."
Jimin was confused. "What?"
"I'm getting this smell from somewhere and it's making me feel really heady."
Jimin's eyes widened. "Is it...?"
"I think it is...." He suddenly felt really excited.
Jimin smiled at him happily.
He started acting a lot more friendly and sweet with all the fans that came up to him, holding their hands, cracking jokes with them and annoying Jimin playfully.
Then your scent started getting stronger and he knew you were near.
He turned around and there you were, his angelic mate, standing in front of Jimin.......smiling so beautifully......holding his hand......and telling him that he was your bias......
He felt his whole body heat up and his heart pummelled to the ground. Eyes wide, completely ignoring the fan in front of him, he watched as Jimin laughed along with you. His eyes never strayed from your face as you moved on to him, holding your hand up in an excited wave. The moment you saw his shocked face, your smile faltered.
"Um, Oppa?" your sweet voice sent adrenaline rushing through his body and he felt a new feeling bubble up within him, so different from the one he was feeling just a few minutes ago.
Leaning forward till his face was just an inch away from yours, he whispered, "I don't care who your bias was. But from now, you'll only have eyes for me."
