I told Steve everything. I sat with my head bowed down, playing with hands and wiping the tears as they came and opened up to him.
After a minute or so of silence, I looked up as I heard nothing from Steve. I looked up and saw his blue eyes shimmering and looking back at me.
"You know I lost a love when I crashed and froze in the ice. I left her behind and didn't get the chance to tell her I loved her or have that dance."
He reached into his pocket and pulled out a photograph. The lady was beautiful. She had short brown curls, a soft face with red lipstick on. Steve stared at the picture for a while before speaking again.
"I miss her and I still love her but it's time for me to move on."
I looked at the photograph from over his shoulder and wondered what kind of woman she was but then my thoughts were interrupted when Steve started laughing.
"Why are you laughing?" I looked at him curiously.
"Because one time I got pretty jealous and thought that Peggy and your father use to fondue."
I looked at him confused. "What's fondue?" That's when Steve blushed and started scratching the back of his neck
"It's um...you know...um when a guy and a girl..."
"I don't think my sister needs a sex education lesson from you grandpa, she's too young for that." Tony says as he comes bursting through the door of the gym.
Steve looked at me and we both laughed.
"What do you want anyway Tony?"
"Well it's getting late and also Bruce kinda told me what happened between you two, are you okay?"
After talking with Steve, I felt much better. "Yeah I'm okay."
That was an honest answer.
"Okay Scar, well come on you better get some sleep. Fury wants you on deck tomorrow."
"Tony come on, I'm an adult so I go to bed when I want."
Tony mimicked my words and grabbed my wrist and dragged me out the gym.
"Well listen here sissy, I'm big bro so you listen to me and get yourself to bed."
I just laughed and let Tony dragged me and shouted to Steve.
"Sorry Cap!" He looked at me less red and just chuckled.
"Wait Scar!" I heard him run up to the gym doors and I dragged Tony back.
"Do you want to get breakfast together tomorrow?"
I smiled. "I'd love to, see you there at eight."
He smiled back and walked back into the gym.

I eventually got to my room after Tony dragged me and even carried me at one point. I was laying in bed and thinking of Steve, his crystal blue eyes, toned body, the way he blushes, his charm and thoughtfulness...wait do I like him? I've only known him a day and yet maybe I do.
