Tzuyu
I had a few days of not doing any work with Seulgi as she was busy. During those days after lunch times, I sneak away from either Alpha Sana or the guards she had placed with me so I could practise speaking. They obviously knew that I had left but they never knew what I was actually doing.
I was getting more and more frustrated as they days went by. I tried and tried again but no words came out of my mouth.
"What are you doing?" I got so carried away with trying to speak that I hadn't noticed Alpha Sana enter the bathroom. She walked up to me and stood behind me, staring at me through the mirror. I didn't reply by nodding or shaking my head, I just stared up at her. I don't know how much she had seen, there wasn't much to see anyway.
"Are you trying to speak?" She asked, still standing behind me. I didn't know whether to tell her the truth or lie. There was no way of telling how she would react. This could remind her that I can't speak.
I decided to lie and shake my head no.
Alpha Sana gave me a look to say she knew I was lying.
"You can tell me the truth" She insisted while resting her head on my shoulder and wrapped her arms around my waist. I sighed in contentment before finally giving in and nodding me head.
Alpha Sana suddenly let go of me and walked out of the bathroom. I turned around quickly. I knew I shouldn't have told her.
She walked back into the bathroom with a notepad in her hand. I sighed in relief, she wasn't leaving yet.
"Why are you trying to speak?" She handed me the notepad and a pen over. I took them both and froze. How do I explain to my mate that I don't want to be weak anymore? And that I don't want to be the one that brings the pack down because of my weakness?
I hate writing
I looked up at Alpha Sana to see if she believed my lie, surely enough she smiled and laughed.
"I hate writing too. But while you can't speak you're going to have to keep writing." I sighed and nodded my head to keep up the act. I honestly loved writing, it's a good way for me to express myself in a different way.
"Hey look" I felt Alpha Sana's hand lift up my chin, making me look up and into her eyes. I stared up into her caramel eyes.
"I don't care that you can't speak. I only care that you're here with me right now. Yeah, one day I do hope that you speak because I am dying to hear your voice, but I understand that you have to take your time mentally to be able to speak" I took a deep breath and nodded. I want to believe what she's saying but after hearing it from Seulgi, I'm finding it hard. She's my mate, she's can't not care. As she said before, it's in the mate bond.
"Why don't we go see Dahyun and Momo?" Alpha Sana suggested. I nodded my head in agreement, I hadn't seen Dahyun and Momo in a while.
Alpha Sana mind linked Dahyun before dragging me over to where I assume Dahyun's room is. We stopped outside of a door near Alpha Sana's room. She knocked loudly making me flinch slightly.
The door was quickly answered by a boy I had never met. He was taller than me and had nice short waxy hair. He smiled at Sam and then at me before letting us in.
"Hi, my name is Jaxon" He stopped me at the door. "I don't believe we've met?" He stuck his hand out and I hesitantly took it. Alpha Sana let out a growl as she saw the interaction between me and Jaxon.
"Sorry Alpha" Jaxon let go of my hand and walked over to Dahyun's bed and plopped himself down onto it. Everyone got onto talking about everything and nothing while I just listened. There wasn't much that I could do to contribute to the conversation anyway.
Out of the corner of my eye I caught Jaxon looking at me a few times. I decided to pay no attention to him and continue listening to the conversation.
"Hey, why don't we go out to have some pizza or something. I heard about a really good pizza place in town" Dahyun suddenly suggested after a few moments of silence,
Alpha Sana looked over at me waiting for my reaction. I nodded my head and everyone starting to stand up from their sitting position on the floor.
I nodded my head, I can't remember if I had tried pizza before but Dahyun and Jaxon are really funny so I wouldn't mind hanging out with them more.
We continued chatting for a while before we decided to head off to the pizza place. We all got into separate cars, me with Alpha Sana and the rest in Jaxon's car.
It didn't take long to get there, the car journey consisted in Alpha Sana singing and dancing in her car seat to songs that came on the car radio.
We all met up in the car park and headed in together. Getting a seat wasn't hard as the staff took one look at Alpha Sana and immediately escorted us to a table. This pizza place was still inside pack territory all staff were aware of Alpha Sana and what status she had over them.
I was sat in between Alpha Sana and Jaxon while Dahyun and Momo sat at the other end of the booth. Everyone picked up the menu while I quietly looked down at my hands, still not being able to properly read.
"Hey" I heard Jaxon whisper in my ear. I turned to look at him as he continued.
"How does a pizza greet new people?" He asked. I thought for a second before shrugging my shoulders. What is he getting at?
"It's slice to meet you" He burst out laughing, I let out a small giggle even though it was a bad joke.
"You're not funny" Alpha Sana spoke up from beside me. I looked over at her and saw her looking down at her menu with an angry look on her face. I hope she wasn't angry at me.
"What would you like to order?" Alpha Sana suddenly asked me, moving the menu closer for me to look at.
I shrugged my shoulders not knowing what to get.
"How about I get you a margherita pizza? That pizza just has tomato sauce and cheese on it" She suggested. I nodded my head, sounds nice to me.
It was silent for a few minutes, only broken for a minute so everyone could tell a lady what they want to eat and drink. We were soon eating in silence until Jaxon spoke up from beside me.
"Tzuyu, would you like to hear a joke about pizza?" He asked. I nodded my head.
"Never mind it's too cheesy" I giggled and everyone else at the table groaned.
"Can you back off" Alpha Sana said loudly, slamming her hand down on the table. My body reacted to the loud noise causing me to jump in my seat. "I can't help but think that you're making a move on my mate" Alpha Sana stood and looked down at Jaxon. By now I was scared, I never know how Alpha Sana is going to react when she gets like this.
"Chill man, I was just making a small joke, I don't mean anything by it" Jaxon put his hands up in surrender. "I have a mate" Alpha Sana's facial expression immediately changed.
"Oh" Alpha Sana sat back down "How come she's not here right now?" She asked looking back at Jaxon.
"She eh, couldn't make it" He said.
Alpha Sana
He was definitely lying. As Alpha I have learnt to tell if someone is lying to me or not.
My thoughts were interrupted when Tzuyu suddenly stood and ran to the bathroom. I looked at Dahyun and Momo "I think she got scared" Sofia said.
"Do you want me to go check up on her?" Momo asked after a few seconds.
I shook my head "No, I think its best if I go"
I got up and rushed after her and into the bathroom. I found only one stall closed so I locked the bathroom entrance.
"Tzuyu" I spoke softly and knocked on the stall door. I pulled a piece of paper out of my pocket along with a pen. I held it above the door for Tzuyu to take.
I felt the paper and pen get pulled out of my hand. I kept my hand there and eventually felt it slide back into my hand.
Why?
I sighed "I just... I don't know. I just can't live with the thought of someone else making you laugh and not me. I can't explain it, I love you and it makes it hard when I think of anyone else. I'm sorry" I couldn't get everything out, words couldn't describe how much I care about her. I cant help but feel jealous. I turn my body away from the stall and try and think of something else to say to make her understand why I did what I did.
I heard the stall door open and small arms wrap around my chest. Tzuyu leant her head against my back.
I turned around and leant my forehead against hers "Do you forgive me?". She looked into my eyes and nodded her head.
"I love you"
