Park Chaeyoung's POV
When I was cleaning a table that is located near the entrance, someone came sitting at the chair in front of me making me automatically looked up to greet him thinking he is a customer.
"Annyeong...", I stopped as I saw the face under the black mask. "Oh, Namjoon oppa...", I said before I see another person standing behind him.
"Annyeong, Chaeyoung.", Seokjin greeted me while waving his hand with Jisoo following beside him.
I smiled at them.
"Annyeong, Namjoon oppa, Jin oppa, Jisoo unnie.", I greeted them all back as I let them have their seats.
"What brings you guys here?", I asked as they were all seated comfortably.
Jisoo eyed Namjoon with a smirk.
"I told you she didn't check her phone.", she said to him.
"Check my phone? Why? I left it at the back.", I spoke up before Namjoon can say anything.
"I texted you I'm coming to see you but it's okay. You've seen me now. Can we make our order, Chaeyoung?", he said as he looked at the menu board at the wall behind the counter.
I took out my pen and paper to write their orders before I asked them if they came together or just met coincidentally since it was quite rare to see them to hang out together. Seokjin is busy working at J Corp while Namjoon is managing Mono. Jisoo probably came together with Seokjin.
"Yeah, we just met out there. Jisoo wanted to come here for our lunch. Didn't know Namjoon is coming here too.", Seokjin told me.
"Oh, okay. I'll make your drinks first. I'll come back later.", I said before I headed back to the counter to tell Jackson to prepare the cakes they ordered. Then, I went to make their drinks while thinking of the reason Namjoon is here. Does he have anything important to tell me?

The phone he put on the table made me staring at it without saying anything. I thought it was with Seokjin but Namjoon is the one that taking it out on the table. Should I ask how it went to him?
"Jin hyung gave me to have a look at it and...I've fixed it. The data are all recovered.", Namjoon seemed to know what was in my mind. I did not have to ask him about it anymore.
I looked at each of their eyes before my hand reached for the phone on the table.
"You...you fixed it?", I asked, not knowing how to react to the news.
"Yup! Uh, I'm sorry. I found out the passcode to unlock the phone. Anyway, everything's there. You can check them all.", Namjoon said as he let me take the phone that used to be belonged to Jungkook.
I wondered if he knows about this phone though. He did not say anything about it when he met me. He just wanted to remember something but he did not asked about his destroyed phone.
I looked at the phone that has a few scratches on the back with care. Then, I turned it around to see the screen. It looked pretty bad as the screen was cracked until it left a long straight line in it. I put in the passcode to unlock the phone.

I teared up a little seeing the phone unlocked. He changed the passcode the night he got into the accident. He changed it when we reached my apartment. He said he did not want to keep any secret from me so he changed the passcode to my birthdate so I can check it myself if I ever doubt him in anything.
"Chae, are you okay?", Jisoo asked me as she patted my shoulder.
I blinked a few times before I went to see the photos stored in the phone. There were a lot of photos of us and me alone. Photos from the reunion, our first date at Comic-Con, and more of my candid photos he took randomly. I never checked his phone before. I teared up, for real.
I did not care how do people look at me now. I can only focus on whatever is stored in Jungkook's phone. I checked his messages and saw our conversations. They were still there, none is deleted. Not even the ones that he sent me before he went to Australia. He kept them while I deleted them right away.
"Chaeyoung, is everything alright?", Jisoo asked again seeing my face looking down trying to hide my tears.
"Yeah, I just...can't believe everything is still here.", I lied. I cried not because of that. I cried for not seeing Jungkook's honest determination to court me. My mind always thought he's a playboy, I should not trust him. My heart said otherwise so I gave him a chance.
Now, I felt guilty.
"Chae, uh...are you okay?", Jackson came to the table looking for me.
"Yeah, why? You need anything?", I asked him as I wiped off my tears and stood up.
"Yeji told me your phone has been vibrating repeatedly in the cabinet. You might want to take a look at it.", he said before he left to continue his work.
I put Jungkook's phone back on the table and excused myself to go to the kitchen.

Jeon Jungkook's POV
I went straight to the room after getting the direction from the nurse at the counter. When I reached the door of the room, I saw Chaeyoung coming out with her parents following behind her. I was a bit surprised to see her getting here earlier than I am.
I have been avoiding everyone for these few days. It was surprising to me to see her again after that night.
"Jungkook, you came.", her mom said as she stood next to Chaeyoung.
"Uh, yeah. I'm sorry I'm a bit late. How is Nayeon doing?", I asked since they have visited her first.
I felt a bit guilty inside. I wondered if what happened to her was caused by me. Since that night I met Chaeyoung and remembered a bit about the accident, I did not talk to Nayeon at all. I just texted her asking her that I want to be alone for some time.
"She's alright but she refused to talk to anyone. Maybe she will talk if you come in to see her.", her mom told me.
"Oh, okay. I'll see her now.", I said.
"Before that, can I talk to you for a while?", Chaeyoung suddenly asked.
I eyed her parents before her dad nodded. Then, the two elders walked away leaving us alone at the hallway.
"I think I know why Nayeon unnie is trying to hurt herself. Luckily the cut wasn't deep enough to harm her. Do you want to say anything about it before I make a guess?", Chaeyoung sounded cold as she talked.
What did she know? How far did she know? What the doctor told her?
"She told me you ignored her calls and only texted her. What's wrong with you, Kook?", she asked me. Her tone was serious.
"I...admit that I ignored her but...I needed some time alone. That's why..."
"You're going to marry her in less than two weeks. How could you ignore her? Do you forget about your upcoming wedding?", she cut me off with those words.
It was quite hurting actually.
"You shouldn't ignore her. You made her look like she did something wrong but you don't want to settle it in the right way. What's wrong with you, Jungkook?", she asked again.
I looked at her eyes having tears in them.
"I...I'm confused, Chaeyoung. I wanted to marry Nayeon but the thing that I remembered that day...it made me thinking if I'm doing the right thing. That's why I avoided everyone. I needed time to be alone.", I told her the truth.
"You're confused? Okay, I will help you with that. You are going to marry Nayeon in less than two weeks. Just focus on that and don't think too much about what you remembered that night. If you don't and you make my unnie hurt again, remember my words. I'll hate you, Jungkook. I will hate you forever. Remember that.", Chaeyoung said before she stepped aside and walked away from me.
"Chaeyoung! Chaeyoung!!", I shouted but she never looked back.

Park Chaeyoung's POV
I slammed myself on the bed as I got back from the hospital. Everything that happened today made my feelings muddled up. At first, I was guilty with Jungkook and happy knowing the data on his phone is recovered. Then, I was shocked knowing Nayeon got admitted into the hospital. Next, I was angry with Jungkook because he was the cause Nayeon tried to hurt herself. Lastly, I felt mad with myself.
To be honest, I wanted him back and was ready to help him with the evidence from his phone. But, I had another thought when I saw what Nayeon did to her wrist because of Jungkook. I thought of letting him go so I did what I had to do. I told him to think of his upcoming wedding with Nayeon.
