"Asia-chan!" Erin shouted which caused Raynare to lose her focus.
" You again! Don't tell me you defeated the Fallen Angels outside?" Raynare said in shock and anger.
" Yes. And you're next.. Ayano Yuuma." Declared Erin as her weaponized arm manifested. " Issei, Let's beat this chicken to the ground!"
" Hai!"
[BOOST!]
" Don't worry, Raynare. Proceed with the ritual." Mittelt said and dashed towards the boy.
" Tsk. Annoying pests." She glanced at the unconscious Asia chained to the wall. The ritual was half-complete and she only need to materialize enough amount of magic to separate the sacred gear to the body.
*(Bam)*
Raynare nearly dodged a laser beam which was aimed towards her. With gritted teeth, she raced to the Goddess and formed a light spear.
" COME HERE YOU BRAT!"
*(Clank!)*
Erin's weapon transformed to a shield which blocked Raynare's attack. She shifted her weapon to a lance and swung it back and forth to stab the Fallen Angel.
With the last of her mana, she directed her full force to creating a lightning bolt and struck Raynare head on.
" AHHHHH!"
She watched as the Fallen got electrocuted. Her eyes widened when she saw Issei beaten to the ground with Mittelt aiming a light spear just a few distance away from him.
" Issei, MOVE!"
Erin ran using her speed to grab the boy away from danger. But she only managed to shield his body and take the light spear for herself instead.
" Ack!"
" Erin!" Issei said in horror as he saw the Goddess' body being stabbed. The light spear went past her shoulder and the impact caused Erin to stumble backwards.
" Kuh.. S-Stay away, Issei." Erin coughed and spit out some blood. The brown haired boy was close to tears until the Goddess shoved him again to avoid another light spear.
" This seriously hurts." Erin winced in pain and grabbed one of the Light spears' end.
" Impossible. How are you able to touch that? You should still feel an intense burn even if you are a human." Mittelt exclaimed in shock.
Erin removed the light spear from her body and she screamed in pain as she fell on her knees.
" Y-You.. You're crazy!" remarked Mittelt and fired another attack.
Erin blocked it using the shield on her weaponized arm; albeit shakily.
She stood up and clutched her shoulder; the area where she was stabbed by the light spear.
Her mana was now low and she can't afford to summon another lightning attack.
" I'll have to resort to using my voice."
She closed her eyes and sang a lullaby. Mittelt was confused by her actions and thought she was being delirious due to her impending death. Seconds later, the effect took place and Mittelt was in a trance. The Fallen Angel was rooted to her place, standing and staring at nothing.
" That should take effect for some minutes."
" AHHHHHH!"
Erin's eyes widened as she saw Issei stabbed by a light spear. The boy fell to the ground and Raynare laughed at this.
" Heh. You seem to forget about me, brat." Raynare remarked. She must have recovered from the electric shock while they were occupied with Mittelt.
" Yuuma.." spoked Erin in rage. " I'll kill you!"
"Don't be impatient now." She formed another light spear and impaled Issei's legs. A deafening scream was heard as a result.
" Cuz you will have your turn." Raynare had a crazed look
The Goddess dashed at her in rage with Raynare blocking her attacks. The Fallen Angel managed to stab her with another light spear and the Goddess screamed in mixed pain and fury.
" HAHAHAHAHA! Scream louder! I want to hear you scream for your death!"
The Goddess was losing a huge amount of blood and it was becoming a little difficult to maintain her composure.
She looked to the side and noticed Issei's glossy eyes. The boy was already dead.
" No..... NO! I will not die like this! Not until I make her pay for what she has done!"
Her gear activated and she released a scream throwing Raynare to the wall. The impact made the Fallen Angel suffer a few broken ribs.
Raynare fired multiple spears in retaliation. All which struck the Goddess in various parts of her body. Her legs, right arm and abdomen.
The Goddess was forced to the ground and Raynare looked at her with hate.
"Serves you right, you filthy human. I must applaud you though. You should have been dead by now. Like this brat here." She kicked Issei who was motionless. " But somehow, you are still breathing despite the various attacks your body suffered."
She turned to Asia and generated magic in her hands.
" Now watch as I take your friend's Sacred Gear and all of you can die afterwards! HAHAHAHA"
" Nooo...." Erin weakly thought who was beginning to lose consciousness.
Asia's scream echoed in the room and the Goddess looked at the scene in front of her with a blank expression.
" Not yet.. I can't die like this.. Not until I achieved my purpose."
" { Then Don't} "
" Huh?" Erin was semi-conscious and she thought she was starting to hear things.
" { Don't die like this. You have a promise you need to fulfill, correct?}
" Yes... Yes I have." thought Erin in monotone.
" { Then Do it! Change Reality and brace the power you have!}
Erin's determination slowly rose and her eyes regained its life.
" { Even Death could not stop you from your Dreams! Fight, my child!}
She stood up with the remaining strength she had. Her clothes was a bloody mess but she could care less about her appearance.
" I will protect my friends with all I have." The Goddess spoke with gritted teeth. " I will achieve my purpose even if it means my death right now!"
" { THEN SO BE IT!}
The voice roared and Erin's sacred gear activated on its own. The gem glowed brightly and a head piece extended from the base. The Sacred Gear managed to reach it's next level and Erin can feel her eyes glowing. Lasers shot from her eyes. *( Erin unlocked the Eyes of Doom skill.)* and when Erin closed them, the Geass insignia finally made its appearance and in both eyes too.
" HAHAHA. It's mine. Finally mine!" Raynare said crazily as the Sacred Gear floated in her hands. She was so caught up in her actions that she only noticed the Goddess after a few minutes.
" Oh, you're still alive?" The Goddess had her head down and Raynare looked at her boredly. "Tsk. Nevermind." She formed another light spear on her hand. " I'll kill you right now."
" Foolish beings.." Erin spoke and the Geass flashed. " By your actions and deliberate evil intentions. I command you all..To KILL YOURSELVES!"
Raynare instantly got affected by the Geass same as Mittelt who bowed deeply.
" Yes. Your Highness!"
The two faced each other and delivered attacks, causing them to fall to their death.
Erin observed the events with a stoic look and she bent down to retrieve the Sacred Gear of Asia. She destroyed the chains by shooting lasers from her eyes and she caught the Nun from falling.
" This belongs to you, Asia-chan." The Sacred Gear was absorbed back by the nun's body."
" I'm sorry if we were a little late."
She placed the Nun on a safe distance and went back to Issei's place. The Goddess search for a familiar item in the boy's body. She can feel her strength and consciousness slowly leaving her.
" Not yet...." Erin thought.
She found the piece of flyer who was now wet and smeared by blood. Falling to her knees, she imagined a certain red head and called out her name before her body collapsed on the ground.
A red light glowed and Rias emerged by the portal. She instantly gasped after seeing the wrecked place and state of the people there.
Issei was laying on his own pool of blood and Asia was lifeless on the other side. The goddess was not faring any better who had blood dripping down her mouth and her body was covered by blood. She was now in short breaths.
" Erin..." Rias said in shock as she hugged the Goddess' bloodied body.
" Y-You came." Erin lowly said as she found it hard to speak. "Save Issei and Asia-chan."
Koneko and Kiba arrived afterwards and the two were in shock by the scene that welcomed them.
"S-senpai."
" Do what you have to do, Rias." Erin coughed and continued. " Don't let Issei and Asia-chan die."
" I will.. And I won't let you die either."
Erin smiled at this and before she lost consciousness, she asked for the red head to take her home.
