Under the earrings? I swear, this man does not make any sense sometimes. And then he acts all smug and annoying about it, like I'm supposed to know what the hell that's supposed to mean.
I'm no genius Yoongi, you clearly cannot see that.
He probably just said it to piss me off, like he's playing with me. Making me curious for nothing. I guess I'll see what all of this fuss is about when I get home.
As I'm walking back to the other end of the shopping centre as the others are at, I feel my phone start to buzz in my pocket. I take it out and look at the caller ID.
Dea.
I think I'm screwed.
Actually no, technically they can't be mad at me. I said to them I'd go find a place to eat and for all they know I could still be looking. This place is pretty big and has lots of restaurants scattered around everywhere.
And instead Yoongi and I found a café. What are the chances?
I prepare for the worst and pick up the phone, raising it to my ear. "Hello?"
"Where are you?" That's the first thing she asks me.
"I said I was going to look for places to eat."
"And where exactly are you looking?" She laughs. "Jiyeon there was a restaurant right outside the shop we were just in."
Oh, there was? Why didn't I see it? I could've sworn there wasn't any restaurants down that end of the shopping centre. My eyesight mustn't be very good then.
"Oh, I didn't see it." I reply.
"Anyway we've got a table and are waiting for you to come, we haven't ordered anything yet. You better get here quick or they're going to kick us out for not ordering food and just sitting here."
I sigh. "Okay I'm coming, see you."
I put the phone down and I begin to speed walk in the direction of the said restaurant that I had blindly walked past earlier.
Oh, there actually was a restaurant here.
I approach the doors and swing them open, my eyes immediately being to search for their table.
One of the waiters however notices me walk in and calmly walks over to me.
"Miss, please wait at the doors to be seated." He raises his hand for me to stop walking.
As soon as I make eye contact with him, I have decided upon one thing.
He's beautiful.
Flawless honey skin, jawline sharp, a gorgeous smile, his soft brown hair looks extremely fluffy, has eyes that you could stare and get lost in very quickly.
I think I've been staring at him for too long because he starts to slowly smile, chuckling at my silence.
I finally snap out of it. "Oh, sorry my friends are already here. I'm trying to look for their table." I explain and his face eases.
"Ah, my apologies. Found them yet?"
I shake my head no but then that suddenly becomes a lie, when I see the three of them sat in one of the booths at the back of the restaurant.
And all of them are staring at me with the biggest smirks on their faces when they see me talking to the cute waiter.
I sigh, as I already know what's coming as soon as I go over to them.
"Nevermind, I see them now." I point over to their table and he nods.
"Cool, I'll be over to you guys in a minute to take orders." He smiles warmly before slipping past me to take orders from another table that have been calling for him for the past 2 minutes.
I quickly hurry over to their table and sit down next to Songmin in the booth.
I clear my throat. "Hello ladies."
Dea just smirks even more. "I see you ran into the cute waiter."
"Yes, yes I did."
"And it looks like he's interested in you." Hayoon whispers, slyly pointing over in his direction.
I casually turn around and look at the whole restaurant to try not to make it obvious that I'm looking at him. When I do look at him however he's still taking orders from that same table.
"He's doing his job Hayoon, why would he be interested in a stranger like me?"
"Because he was watching you walk all the way here and sit down. He only looked away when you turned around." Dea says and wiggles her eyebrows.
Oh.
My face starts to heat up and the three of them laugh.
"Wait, what about that Yongsun guy? I thought you liked him." Hayoon questions.
My eyebrows furrow. "Who said I liked this waiter guy? Just because I find him cute doesn't mean I like him."
"Dea here was trying to seduce him over to us whilst we were waiting for you, it failed terribly." Songmin laughs at Dea sat in front of her.
"What happened?"
"Well she was trying to flirt, but then ended up kind of insulting him."
Dea and flirting clearly do not belong in the same sentence. We all know that from past experiences. She either scares them off or annoys them so much they want to slap her. It sounds sad but to us it's pretty funny.
Dea huffs, but you can clearly tell she's embarrassed.
"Shut up Songmin! It's not like you have the guts to flirt with anyone. Atleast I do!"
Songmin casually nods. "Yeah, that's true."
"Can I take your orders please?" The waiter then suddenly appears by our table, notebook and pen in hand and giving us all warm smiles waiting patiently.
Hayoon glances at all of us before looking up at him. "Yeah. What's your name?"
"Hayoon!" I nudge her leg under the table with my foot.
She flinched backwards. "What? Don't tell me you're not curious Jiyeon!"
The waiter just laughs at us and rakes his hair backwards after putting his pen in his other hand.
"My name's Luhan."
"Hmm. Interesting." Hayoon nods, resting her hand on her chin and staring at him with a little smile.
I sigh and look up at him. "First of all, I'm sorry about this one." I indicate to Hayoon.
"Second of all, I'm really sorry about that one." I point to Dea and Songmin bursts out laughing.
Dea gasps and flushes a bright red, turning her head away.
Luhan finds this all amusing and just laughs at us. "It's okay, I suck at flirting too."
Now Dea's face has become even more red. And has made Songmin laugh at her even more.
"And thirdly, yes you can take our orders."
He smiles in satisfaction and readies his pen in his hand once again, getting prepared to write down our meals and drinks.
Hayoon is the next one to order before me ordering last, as I needed to take a quick look at the menu which I hadn't even looked at yet. Songmin and Dea have already ordered their food.
"And last but not least, Jiyeon is it?"
"Yep."
"What would you like?" He asks, not moving his eyes from mine for a split second.
I end up getting a little flustered and break the eye contact first, looking down at the menu. I hear Songmin laughing to herself quietly but not quietly enough. I nudge her hard with my elbow and she immediately stops and whines in pain.
"Anyway, I would like to order a-"
I look up at Luhan to order my chosen meal when my eyes immediately flicker to something behind him. Because we're at the back of the restaurant, it's hard to make out what I've caught my attention to.
However it doesn't take me long to figure out who it is.
My face drops and eyes slowly begin to widen as I then realise that he's not alone: he's brought the others with him.
People around us start to realise who's just walked in the doors and loud gasps and squeals begin to rise, including from Hayoon, Dea and Songmin.
