"I really don't like the concept of Parent-teacher conferences," Ash said as Serena and Ash drove back home after she picked him up from the airport, "Well It is a parent right to know how well their children are doing ya know" Serena countered, Ash, let out a sigh, " I don't think you get it, I'm gonna have to sit and talk with people I don't know for hours discussing their children & on top of that there are gonna be multiple people from Alola and that makes me nervous... Anyway, did the package arrive ?" Ash asked changing the topic,
"Yeah it did, I left it in our room since you said that I had to wait until you come back" She clarified, "Yeah," Ash said and in a few minutes Serena pulled up to their driveway and got out, Ash didn't have much luggage with him so he went inside and released the Pokemon and after talking with them for a while went on to take a shower and clean up.
"So you ready ?" Ash asked as he and Serena sat on their bed, "Yep" Serena said as she opened the package, she gasped as she saw what was inside, Inside the box was a small box inside of which was a platinum ring that had a circular sapphire like a gem in Deep blue, "Ash this looks beautiful" She breathed out, "It for you and it serves a purpose that you'll be grateful for" Ash said, "Huh..what do you mean ?" She asked, he took the ring and placed it in her figure and said, "This is a special custom made ring something that A few Famous people who don't want much attention when they're outside use,
It was Sabrina's idea back when I was travelling around Kanto, A psychic shield which prevents people from recognising you but those things have a Purple gem to signify psychic energy but this one is special, It's infused with Aura which means that you can control when you want people to notice you and when not to" Ash said with a smile, Yep truth is Serena just sits at home most of the time because if she goes out then people always surround her and Ask for autographs and the Media, oh the media and their interviews, but same can't be said about when she's with Ash because he uses his psychic abilities to make people not notice her so that they can have their privacy.
Now though Serena can go out at her will for shopping and other things, now the question was how she was gonna control the ring, "Now all you have to do is think of a mantra or something to active the ability of the ring" Ash ended Serena was in deep thought as to what it could be that's when Serena thought of the perfect number for the occasion, 1710, 17th of October when Ash and Serena started dating, "I like your choice" Ash said with a smirk, "I told you not to read my mind like that" Serena said with a cute pout, "How can I not when the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on goes all red" Ash said, "Oh really" Serena said with a smirk as she went ahead and pushed Ash on his back and started making out with him.
After a few minutes of making out, they released for air as Serena lay next to Ash, "So about the code let's be done with that real quick cause I'm really tired and the open house is on Monday which means I'll have to prepare myself to face parents tomorrow" Ash said with a sigh and then he made 1710 as the code to unlock the powers of the ring and then put the ring onto her hand. Then the couple fell asleep cuddling with each other.
The next day
Ash woke up at the crack of dawn, Serena was still sleeping tight so he decided to keep it on the low and go to train his Pokemon for sometime before going to work, So he went downstairs and called Pikachu and together with Pikachu he went over for his morning run, Then he meditated for some time and did some combat practice with Lucario while all his other Pokemon trained among each other to keep themselves in tip-top battle-ready conditions, All the flying types including the now newly evolved Corvisquire were having a race while.
The Aces were busy sparring amongst themselves, The dragons were also busy, After an hour of intensive training Ash went in to take a shower and then woke Serena up since she was still sleeping before going downstairs to make some breakfast, After that Ash put on a grey suit with a white shirt and maroon tie with Brown shoes, He wore a Rolex Dayton Platinum for the day but still kept the Keystone with him, He then went ahead to select his team for the day, that's when he realised that he never got back Aagron and the egg, So he called gardevoir and asked her to bring the Pokeball and egg back home.
Within a few seconds Gardevoir was back and Ash went to the backyard and called Aagron out after placing the egg beside him on the floor, the Pokeball opened and materialised before him was a mammoth of an Aagron, "Hey Aagron" Ash said as calm as possible, the said Pokemon responded with a grunt, "I would like you to meet your new family" He said as he gestured Aagron to turn around, the said Pokemon eyes widened at what lay in front of him, about 50 strong Pokemon all in their final forms except Corvisquire looking at him,
"I assure you that you'll feel at home with these guys, there's another person that you have to meet as well she'll come out later but for now how about you settle down here," Ash said and then called Corvisquire, Dragonite, Garchomp, Charizard and Metagross into their poke balls and then went to his room to take his bag and laptop and then he kissed Serena and told her to take care of the egg and then he got inside his Porsche and made it to school.
The day at school was pretty boring to be honest except when the students had their battles then things got heated up real quick with Kiawe and Mallow going against each other which ended in Kiawe decimating Mallow's grass types. Then it was time for the parents to finally make it, the students went back into their dorms to freshen up and Ash was sitting in his room, of course,
parents would like to meet their subject teachers like Pokemon history or Science but The school also emphasised on Pokemon battling, Coordinating and Performing so these teachers would also be busy, especially since in the first-year classes were to take all three classes although only one would be counted, Battling in contests and any other form of battling is different, while coordinators battle to bring out the beauty of their Pokemon, Pokemon battling is showing the brute strength of the Pokemon while thinking about all possible outcomes strategically and winning, both have their own beauty in one way or another.
Ash was sitting at his desk and a few people came in to talk to him about their wards, so far so good he thought, just as he said that Miss Lusamine of the Aether Foundation came inside his classroom, 'I just jinxed it didn't I' he thought with a sigh, Lusamine knew that Ash Ketchum taught her daughter but wondered why A prince and Champion had to do in a high school, Thankfully Lillie hadn't made it with her just yet, "If it isn't Prince Ketchum" She said, "Oh come on Miss Lusamine I told you not to call me that" He said, "oh I'll stop when you stop calling me miss anyway What brings the champion of Alola to a high school in Galar and also do you realise how long it has been since you made it to Alola, yes you have a set of elites trained to dominate battles but still" Lusamine said with a sigh,
"I know miss but I have orders to stay here a look into a few matters regarding the safety of Galar," Ash said, "Oh yeah, G-man As well, it's quite a resume if you ask me all the ladies you be willing to trail behind you but alas everyone has their faults," she said, "Actually that's not true, but I actually have something to discuss who you about, you see there have been some reporting of Ultra Beast wormholes in Galar and I was wondering if you would get me the consent to start training a few of your daughter's friends and her as ultra guardians and the fact that you were leading us back in alola adds right ?"Ash asked, "But I thought these holes were found only in Alola," She asked,
"True but someone has been messing with the frequencies of the wormholes and the HQ is currently on the lookout for them, but there's no harm in being safe" Ash said, "well I have full permission and I'll take the responsibility for setting up the ultra base in the school dorm or something like that," She said, "That would be appreciated, now coming to Lillie, she really has potential to become an ice mistress just like Lorellie or Candice but she holds back and sometimes she doesn't really think out of the box, but there's always time to improve and I'm sure that by the time she passes out from high school." Ash ended,
Lusamine was in deep thought, "Hmm, ice mistress wonder where she got that idea from" She thought Ash sweatdropped, "Anyway I'll see into the ultra guardian force, Bye prince see ya later~" She said and went away, Ash let out a sigh, 'She never changes' he thought, after that the students and parents of most people came up and it was an overall really pleasant afternoon.
Later on, Ash left the campus with a sigh, if all of his current work wasn't enough, ultra wormholes had to open up in Galar, It's like the universe just has to push everything onto him, He got into the car and drove home, he opens the door to a very happy Serena and one look at her face and you'll take her as a replacement for a kid in a candy store, jumping up and down, side to side, Sylveon beside her and so was Pikachu, the egg was on the coffee table, "Hey hey hey what's with all the commotion" Ash asked, The moment Serena saw him she jumped on to him, he caught her and she kissed him immediately she broke he kiss after a minute or so and squealed before saying, "I got a job!!!",
now Ash was confused, isn't performing a job, "umm, Serena isn't performing.....a job", "Yes dummy but Palermo said that since I'm here I could go and teach at Galar high, which is the school where you go to, which mean we're gonna be in the same school~" she was on cloud nine, "So you're the new teacher that everyone's going crazy about, that's amazing so do you have everything ready" He asked, "No we need to go shopping" Serena proposed, Ash had no other option but to say yes, so he nodded his head and went in to freshen up before going out. Later Serena drove both of them to the mall and shopped for clothes and then went for dinner before going home and sleeping early for the first day of class
