I sat there and chatted with Mr. and Mrs. Thomas until Josh came.
The room grew awkward at that point.
I excused myself and gave Mrs. Thomas one last hug.
I felt the tears coming.
I left before they had a chance to fall.
Once I was back home I gave my father his pills and watched the game with him.

I walked into my dorm and the girls were there.
"Welcome home!" they said hugging me.
I smiled and hugged them back.
Max called Matt, letting him that I was home.
The boys came running into the room with Ryan and Maya.
Gross.
Matt gave me a huge hug and kissed me. I noticed that Max walked out of the room at this point.
I smiled at me as he put me down.
"You love me," he grinned.
I kissed him and took his hand over to the others.
"So, what happened?" Max asked walking back into the living room area.
"My dad's okay," I smiled. "He got the call about the robbery and him and his partner went to the store. They told the guy to stop and put down their guns and that's when one of them shot him. It was near the shoulder chest area. I'm just glad he's okay. He'll be going back to work soon,"
"So, that's it? I ran all the way down here for that?" Ryan asked.
"No one invited you," I said.
"Or your little slut," Lynn.
"Well, peace," Ryan said standing up. "You coming?" he asked Maya.
She rolled her eyes. "Sit down and be nice. I'm glad your dad is okay,"
"Thanks," I smiled.
It was nice for me and Maya to be nice to each other.
"Let's party," Alex said smiling.
"There's a party?" I asked.
"Yeah," the guys said standing up.
"Where?" the girls asked.
"Here," the guys said turning on the radio.
The girls and I laughed and stood up and started dancing.
Matt danced over to me and placed his hand on my hips.
P!nk's raise your glass came on and Max gave us all glass.
We sang along to the song as they came on.

"Wake up," Matt whispered in my ear.
I opened my eyes and looked at the time. "Ugh,"
He chuckled and kissed my cheek.
I sat up covering my naked chest with the covers.
I ran my fingers threw my hair.
I should cut it again.
Matt pulled on his clothes and smiled at me. "What are you thinking?"
"That I should cut my hair and skip classes,"
"Violet!" Matt gasped pretending to be shocked.
"What?" I smiled slyly. "I spent all night partying and loving you,"
Matt grinned at me. "So your bad decisions are my fault?"
"Yes," I smiled.
Matt leaned over to me and kissed me.
I pulled me over to me and pulled off his clothes.
"Someone missed me," he said taking out a condom.
"You can say that," I said kissing him.
Moments later we were laying next to each other holding hands.
"Josh's mom has cancer,"
"What?" he asked looking at me.
"Josh told me when I was back home. He was visiting her,"
"How is she?"
"Still strong,"
"Good," he smiled.
"Yeah, but she has chemotherapy soon,"
Matt sighed and hugged my waist. "I hope she's okay,"
"Me too,"
"Well, we should probably email our teachers," matt said grabbing his laptop from the ground.
We both sent our teacher s quick emails and got dressed.
Matt took me out all day, so we could enjoy Florida together.

The girls and I sat down at our normal table with the guys.
Matt and Vi have been missed all day.
Lynn and I went to get a drink together.
"Can I tell you something in confidence?"
"Sure," she smiled.
"I'm in love with Matt,"
"What?"
"I know,"
"But Vi,"
"I know,"
"What are you going to do?"
"I don't know,"
"Dude, this is epic,"
"I know,"
"Are you sure it's love?"
"Yes,"
"What about the guy back home?"
"He doesn't seem to matter anymore,"
"Wow,"
"I know," I said as we walked back to our table.
