A few hours later
McCall house
Isay was sitting on the couch next to Liam. They were waiting for Scott to change and come downstairs.
Scott finally ran down the stairs with a helmet in his hands
Scott: we gotta go
Isay: what's going on
Scott: I finally reached Brett, he's fine but he's in trouble
Liam: more assassins?
Scott: yeah a lot more
Scott said, rushing to the door
Liam: like the ones who just tried to burn us alive?
Scott removed his hand from the door knob and turned to look at liam
Liam looked down at the his helmet and put it on the table
Liam: I'm not like you..
Scott: not yet
Liam: I dont mean I'm not strong or I'm never gonna learn to be in control, I mean everything else..you guys try to protect everyone, do you do that all the time?
Isay and Scott looked at eachother
Isay: tell you what, Why dont I take you home? I have to go to the hospital for Stiles anyway
Liam slowly nodded
Liam: but are you gonna be ok handling the assassins alone?
Scott: y-yeah ofcourse
Isay: ok let's go
Scott left on his motorcycle
Liam got his helmet on and rode behind Isay on her motorcycle
Once they arrived at Liam's house he got off
Isay: hey?
Liam turned around before he could enter his house
Isay: it's ok to be scared, we all are sometimes
Liam: even you...and Scott?
Isay: yeah
Liam: you dont show it much
Isay: that's because I have to put a brave face on, because if I'm not brave then I'll cower and my friends will get hurt...
Liam: how do you do it?
Isay: I just try not to think too much about the negative stuff and focus more on the positive
Liam nodded
Liam: well..goodnight isay
Isay: night Liam.
Liam entered the house and Isay drove through the night, on her way to the hospital.
After the whole meredith thing Stiles wasn't feeling well so she took him to her mom at the hospital

At the hospital
Stiles put his stuff in a bag and was about to leave the hospital room he was resting in but melissa blocked the doorway
Stiles: I'm completely and totally fine
Melissa: uh uh uh, you completely and totally have a concussion Stiles, lie back down. The doctor said you're not leaving without a CT scan
Stiles: but i-
Isay finally arrived next to her mom
Isay: listen to the nurse miechy
She said with a smile, leaning against the door frame
Melissa: meredith is at the station your dad said it might take some time but he will get her to talk
Stiles sighed
Isay: even if she let's you go, what are you gonna do Stiles? Help Scott fight the assassins who have GUNS with a metal bat?
Stiles huffed and sat on the bed
Stiles: fine but I need something
Melissa: what?
Stiles: can you get me a tape player?
Melissa: like...cassettes?
Stiles: yes tapes..
Melissa: yeah I'll see what I can do..
Isay walked inside and her mom left the room
Isay sat down on the bed next to him
Isay: what are you gonna do with a tape player?
Stiles looked at her and pulled a tape out of his pocket, the tape labelled 'Lorraine Martin'

At the sheriff's station
Sheriff stilinski just came out of the room after talking to meredith who was still inside
Lydia: what did she say?
Sheriff: hard to say, there were words that I'm not sure are actual sentences
Lydia: nothing
She sighed
Sheriff: I think we need a psychologist...or a medium
Lydia: is she even competent enough to be charged with something
Sheriff: if meredith is the benefactor then that means she was competent enough to trick Kate into opening the hale vault, competent enough to blackmail brunski into helping her and competent enough to create a hit list and pay out money for it's completion. This girl's practically a criminal mastermind
Lydia: there's gotta be a reason why she would do this..
Sheriff: I'm only interested in the 'why' if it tells me the 'how'
Lydia: you mean how to stop it
Sheriff: as long as the payment might be automatic and the killers are getting paid and paid very well, that list is gonna keep on getting smaller
Lydia: we just need to stop the deadpool..
Sheriff: we need to stop the money

At the hospital
Isay's phone buzzed in her pocket
Isay: its Scott
Stiles: what happened? Is he ok? Did he find Brett?
Isay: yeah he's fine and he didn't just find Brett.. he found all of the pack, satomi's pack or at least what's left of it..they're all at deaton's animal clinic

Deaton's clinic
Scott entered and saw Brett, a few others and a woman in a black cloak
Brett: this is the person I was telling you about
The woman removed the hood
Satomi: I know who Scott McCall is
Lorilee: are we safe here?
Asked Brett's sister
They were all soaking wet from the heavy rain and some of them had a couple of bruises but Scott was happy to see that they were all ok
Scott: we're gonna need some help...a lot of help

Sheriff's station
It was now morning and lydia was fast asleep on the chair outside the sheriff's office. She woke up startled by a door opening and a bunch of people coming out.
The sheriff came out and sat on the chair next to her
Sheriff: I thought I told you to go home
Lydia: I thought I told you I wasn't going anywhere
Lydia looked through the office window behind her
Lydia: did they get anything out of her?
Sheriff: should of gone with the medium
He sighed
Parrish then entered the station
Parrish: we went through everything in brunski's office and so far everything amounts to pretty much nothing
He took s glance at a tired looking lydia
Parrish: did you not go home yet?
Lydia: not until meredith starts talking
She said in a duh tone
Sheriff: lydia I promise she'll talk and when she does I'll let you know
Lydia rolled her eyes
Sheriff: trust me on this, everybody talks eventually
Lydia: then let me try
Sheriff: no we've already discussed this
Lydia: I've gotten through to her before just let me try!
Parrish and the sheriff looked at eachother

Argent's warehouse
Argent slowly walked into one of the empty rooms and sat his gun and duffel bag on the ground. He crouched down and placed a big yellow flower carefully in a safe inside a drawer⬇️
Once he locked the safe and closed the drawer he noticed footprints on the ground facing the opposite direction.
He cautiously got up and grabbed his gun. He walked according to the trail of footprints and saw a shadow on one of the plastic curtains hanging around.
The shadow stopped moving and a sharp metallic rod was shot through the curtain which was aimed at argent but he moved quickly and it just briskly touched his shoulder and implanted in the wall behind him.
He quickly put up the gun and noticed Brett infront of him
Scott: wait! Wait! Brett!
Scott and the rest of the satomi pack came in
Scott: this is his place, It's HIS
Brett calmed down and walked back behind scott
Argent: Scott if you're bringing guests you could have called
Scott: I-I didn't have anywhere else to take them
Satomi was eyeing argent as she stepped forward
Satomi: I know this man, he may not remember but we've met before
She told Scott, referring to argent
Scott: you can trust him, I trust him
Satomi: how do we know that he is not like the others?
Argent: what others?
Scott: last night there was a whole team after them and they used crossbows
Scott handed argent one of the arrows and argent inspected it
Scott: they're hunters arent they?
Argent: not if they're killing for profit, not anymore
Brett: can they find us?
Argent: they might already know you're here, and maybe they're waiting for dark
Brett: so we're not safe here
Satomi: we're not safe anywhere. we've been trying to get out for days, everywhere we turn we find someone new trying to kill us
Argent: they're coming scott and you're coming for you too
Scott: I know, I know lydia is trying to get the answer out of meredith, she just needs more time
Argent: well then that's what she'll get

The hospital
Melissa entered the room
Melissa: I didn't find a tape player but you can go home now, you're gonna be ok
Stiles: thanks
Stiles grabbed his stuff and Isay followed him out.
Stiles: are you coming with?
Isay: yeah sure
Stiles walked out into the parking lot and was surprised to find his jeep there
Stiles: how did my jeep get here?
Isay: yesterday when you fainted after meredith showed, I wanted to take you to the hospital so since you're jeep was the only transportation at the moment i-
Stiles: you drove my jeep.
Isay: yes i-
Stiles: you are the first person ever to drive my jeep
Isay: uh
Stiles: you know what, I'm not mad
Isay: you're...not?
Stiles: nah, I'm glad it was you. I hope you drove well, wait do you even know how to drive a car?
Isay: well would you look at the time
She said, looking at her wrist
Stiles: you're not wearing a watch
Isay let out a giggle
Isay: guess not..
Stiles smiled at her silliness and opened the door for her then went to the other side and got in.
He put his key in but he didn't start the engine
Isay: what's wrong?
Stiles: it's just that we haven't been spending that much time together lately, with everything going on... we never even had the chance to go on a date
Isay sighed and grabbed his hand
Isay: I know but all of this just..
She shook her head
Stiles: I promise you, once all of this ends and it will, I'll take you out
Isay smiled and nodded eagerly
Stiles put a strand behind her ear and kissed her cheek
Stiles: let's go snow white!
He said with a playful tone and roared out of the parking lot

A couple minutes later they arrived at Stiles' house. They got in and went to his room.
Stiles got his tape player, put it on his desk and sat in his chair while Isay brought another chair and sat next to him
Stiles put in the tape in the tape player and played it from the beginning
Isay: why are you hearing it again?
Stiles: I didn't hear this part
Isay nodded and listened with him

Brunski: let's go Lorraine
Lorraine: listen to me, please listen. There's something I have to do..something I have to stop
Brunski: I have to take you back to eichen, Lorraine.
Lorraine: no, no I don't think you're gonna be taking me anywhere...I can hear the recorder in your pocket, it's on now isn't it? You're making a tape just like you taped the others
Stiles pressed the button and it stopped playing
Stiles: this didn't happen in eichen house
Isay: then where?
Stiles: that's what we need to find out..

At the sheriff's station
Lydia walked in the sheriff's office as sheriff stilinski and deputy Parrish followed closely behind.
She stood infront of meredith waiting for her to talk but she didn't. She paced around until lydia spoke
Lydia: I think I'm getting an idea about how all this happened. You used brunski right? You knew he killed people and that he would do it again
Meredith payd close attention to Lydia's words
Lydia glanced at Parrish then sat next to meredith but not too close
Lydia sighed and moved her glance to meredith
Lydia: he used my grandmother's code for the deadpool, he put in online. He took the money from the hale vault then turned the bearer bonds into cash...he made the payments. Was it brunski who told you to fake your death? Did he get nervous because you helped us with the cypher keys?
Meredith finally spoke
Meredith: I wanted to help
Parrish and sheriff stilinski looked at eachother and lydia silently scoffed
Lydia: all you ever wanted to do was help
Meredith slowly nodded
Lydia: is that why you're here? I know you wouldn't wanna be here if you didn't wanna talk
Meredith slowly gave a nod
Meredith: I do
Meredith then looked down at her lap
Meredith: but only to one person..
Lydia: who?
Meredith: Peter.... Peter hale.

Stiles' house
The two were playing the tape again, trying to get any clues where it was taken place
Brunski: I need to take you back to eichen, Lorraine
Lorraine: no, no I don't think you're gonna be taking me anywhere
Isay used her supernatural hearing to help her out if she'd miss any detail in the recording
She quickly hit the stop button
Stiles: what gives?
Isay: I can hear something, a noise in the background
Stiles: really?! like what?
Isay: I dont know exactly, can you play it again?
Stiles nodded and rewinded the tape once again
They both listened closely
Isay: that's it! That's where it is. Play that part again and turn it up
Stiles obliged and they listened again
Isay furrowed her brows in confusion
Isay: it's the record player
Stiles stopped the recording and looked at her confused
Stiles: what record player?
Isay stood up
Isay: the one in the lake house, in the study
Stiles: so she escaped from eichen house to go back to listen to a record player?
Isay: well she was a banshee like lydia right?
Stiles: yeah but only once; she predicted maddy's death then just spent decades trying to predict someone else's
Isay: maybe...maybe she did
Stiles raised a brow at her
Isay: what if this time it wasn't just one death, it was a lot of deaths
Stiles: like the deadpool..
He said, finally catching on
Isay: what if all those years ago, Lorraine predicted it and she knew there was something in the study that could stop it
Stiles: we're going to the lake house

Argent's warehouse
The satomi pack were getting prepared for what's about to happen, argent was loading the guns and Derek and Braden arrived
Scott approached Derek as he saw him staring at the pack
Scott: they'll be ok
Derek: they got claws and fangs but they ain't fighters
He said as he walked to Braden who was loading her shotgun
Scott: that's why I called you
Derek: well try to remember I don't have claws and fangs anymore either
Braden: that's why he called me
She said with a smug look on her face
Braden: you heard anything from lydia or your sister yet?
Scott: lydia is still talking to meredith, Stiles and Isay are headed to the lake house they're trying to stop it
He said confidently
Brett: what if there's no stopping it? What if it doesn't end until we're all dead?
Everyone was silent for a while
Derek: then let's send a message. Lets make tonight perfectly clear to everyone with a copy of that list
Everyone was now looking at him
Derek: it doesn't matter if they're professional assassins, hunters or an amateur who just picked up a gun, anyone who think they can hunt and kill us for money is going to be put on another list, OUR list..they get to be a name on our deadpool.

The sheriff's station
The sheriff called up Peter hale and they put meredith in an interrogation room while Peter, the sheriff and lydia stood on the opposite side of the window
Peter: her? That's the girl who stole my money?
He said more like he was asking himself
Lydia: that girl is a banshee..and more dangerous then you think
Peter: sheriff not to question the unquestionably sterling reputation of your department but are you absolutely sure you got the one?
Sheriff: how about you just go in there and see what she has to say
Parrish took Peter in and he sat on the opposite side of the table where meredith was sitting and Parrish stood there for lookout
Peter: okay.. meredith...where's my money?
Meredith moved her head to the side in confusion
Peter: more correctly what's left of it..
Meredith lifted her hand and gently touched Peter's cheek
Peter started losing it and harshly grabbed her wrist
Parrish: let her go. Let. Her. Go!
Peter calmed down and gently put her hand down
Peter: why did you do that?
Meredith: they're all gone
Lydia: oh my God.. they HAVE met before
Meredith: the burns, they're all..gone
She looked astonished

Argent's warehouse
Argent walked to satomi who wasn't with the rest of her pack
Argent: I remember meeting you but you weren't a Buddhist back then
Satomi: and you weren't protecting werewolves, you were hunting them
Argent: "three things cannot long be hidden; the sun, the moon, the truth" what exactly does that mean?
Satomi: the truth cannot stay hidden
Argent: I know what the saying means..what does it mean for YOU?
Satomi: the truth for me is that we...my kind, are violent creatures who eventually will not be able to control their violent impulses
Argent: but you're still violent creatures
Satomi: aren't we all?
There was a beeping sound meaning they had company
Argent: they're coming.

The sheriff's station
Peter: meredith you put everyone including my nephew on a death list, dont you think you owe us the slightest explanation of why?!!
Meredith: you said it had to be kept secret..
She whispered
Peter looked taken aback
Peter: "i" said, I said that to you?
Meredith: you said it
She nodded
Peter: meredith allow me to remind you yet again we. Have. Never. Met...EVER
lydia: what is he doing?
She whispered to the sheriff's
Meredith: you dont remember?
Peter: no. But mabey you do
He said lowly and immediately got up
Lydia: NO DONT!
Peter shoved the table away to get to meredith but Parrish tried to stop him. Peter was too strong and determined so he threw parrish to the corner of the room and he got to meredith, grabbed her by the neck and shoved his claws to the back of her neck
