"smile naman dyan, llysa!" i groaned when jenna shouted that. "oh," iniabot niya sa akin ang phone niya.
my forehead creased. "anong gagawin ko dito?"
she rolled her eyes. "ikaw ang front at magte-take ng pictures dahil mahaba yang braso mo," napairap din ako nang marinig na tumawa si rosie at jishei.
we took several shots with different poses with jenna’s phone. i looked around.. marami na ang mga estudyanteng dumarating.. It’s already 4:23PM.
napababa ang tingin ko sa mga suot namin ngayon.. i really chose to wear my supposed to be outfit sa performance sana namin ngayon. i forcefully chuckled.. am i really so bitter about it?
"love!" napalingon ako ng marinig yon. hindi naman ako yung tinatawag.. si jishei. it was van, of course. we saw him together with jimin, yoshi, hoseok, and jin.
where’s rafael, by the way?
"dito kayo sa tabi namin." he stated. we just stood up beside them. nandito na kami ngayon sa harapan.
"omg, start na ng performances!" rosie squealed. jishei laughed while clapping. jenna is smiling widely. they’re really just so excited with this event.
we are all watching the performers and hyping up their moods. i just stared at everyone. sayang practice.
"kai.." i glanced at yoshi who mumbled kai’s name, my co-member. he is staring intently at him.. siya kasi ang nagpe-perform ngayon, under the individual category.
nilingon niya ako. his face remained straight. what’s new? madalas siyang mapangasar kahit na diretso ang ekspresyon ng mukha niya. napailing ako at nanood na lang..
we watched other intermission performances from other students. until they came on.
"duo!" the emcee shouted. so... sila na?
i don't want to watch it.
i turned my back and was about to walk away when someone called me.
"llysa!" i faced them again, turning to see who was it. it was yugyeom. his sweat is all over his face. mukhang tumakbo ng sobrang layo.
without any words, he held my wrist and pulled me.
nagpigil ako. "ano ba!" i yelled. "you can't just pull someone!"
"sorry!" binitawan niya ako "bilisan mo."
"huh, why?" i asked, confused.
"we can’t find Irra.. so you’ll dance with jake. next na kayo. let’s go!"
