After running away or in a literal sense swimming away from the cruise with the two women I arrived at a small town which looked rather secluded from the other cities,so I could stay here for a day and leave during the night
But then I remembered that I slept in the middle of the streets which caused me to wake up immediately and sit up as I felt I was under some covers while I was asleep on a small bed in the corner of a room that from the small piles of flour,bottle of water and other cooking supplies looked like a storage room
I slowly got up as I felt reinvigorated in energy though I felt hungry
I then heard the door open with a click as an old lady walking slowly and weakly
"Oh you're awake my dear"said the old lady
"Did you pick me up from outside?"I asked her
"You were asleep and totally defenseless so of course I had to help you though I will admit I was a little cautious about these ears and tails of yours but I decided to help you anyways,now come,you must be hungry right?"she asked me as she walked out
"Sorry for the trouble ma'am"i apologized as I walked behind her and as i walked out and saw the actual house,it was one long hallway with doors on the sides leading to different rooms
We walked to the right and to the right again as it led me to what appeared to be the kitchen which only had a small window that was quite large for the size of the kitchen in a rectangular shape inwhich I entered the kitchen to be met with a table filled with different kinds of food such as bouftous or peckers and many others
"Eat your fill child"said the lady bringing in another plate
I was drooling at the food presented before me
"Thank you for the food!"I prayed as I dug in with full enthusiasm eating entire plates one after the other as she kept bringing more
I realized I was eating without constraints as I turned back to the lady
"I'm so sorry!I should leave some for you!"
"It's quite alright,please eat as much as you want,I do not mind either way"
My eyes brightened
"Thank you so much!"I thanked as I then heard knocking on the door
I panicked as the woman reassured me and walked out of the kitchen
I already knew what was happening,first of all the way she happened to let me in me being the complete stranger that I am and even if that can be mistaken as kindness she also locked the door as if to prevent me from escaping
And finally I could hear her talking to women that appeared to be police officers
"He's in here,I baited him with food so he wouldn't suspect I thing,he's stuffing himself full of food
I used a lot of money for all this ordered food but it will be worth it for his bounty"
"Let us first catch him"said the officer
I then immediately and quietly got out of the window as I remained stuck to the wall to listen to the aftermath
"Wait where did he go?!"shouted the old lady as I jumped out of the wall and into the roof of another house
"HE'S HERE!!!"shouted the police officer as they started to shoot me with their guns which I already got out of sight for them to hit me
"It looks like they know who I am here too,I should at least thank the lady for the food even if she betrayed me in the end"i said to myself
But then I felt as if electricity was running through my head as i instinctively turned to my right as i was jumping on another rooftop to see a white fireball headed towards me which I couldn't do anything to dodge and got hit by it sending me flying in a trash bin
"Owowow"i winced at the pain as the fire ball didn't burn me but it did hurt
"Hahahahahahaha!!!now the bounty is mine!!no one can defeat the mighty rika!"shouted a young feminine voice as I looked right over me on the rooftop of one of the buildings to see a girl of around the same age as me laughing her butt off as she had long brown hair with hazel pupils and a white shirt and small red skirt
She then looked at me with a smug look on her face
"Now you'll quietly wait here as you're in my total mercy now!hahahahahaha!!!"she laughed as I launched a web at her which grabbed on her shirt and started to pull so I can throw her down because of that smug attitude of hers
"Hey what are you doing!?let go!!what even is this?!"she shouted as I didn't stop pulling
"wait hold on a SECOND-I SAID HOLD ON A SECOND!!!"she shouted I then heard the sound something being torn
"AAAAHHHH!!!"she shouted as she was falling down with her head hitting me right in my own head
"OUMF!!"I gasped in pain as she then fell on top of me
"Aiaiaiai!!"she winced in pain as she then noticed she didn't have her shirt on with only a tanktop and screamed in shock
"IIIIIIIIHHHHH!!!"she shouted and backed away
"Pervert!!you're a beast in every sense of the word!!"she shouted
"Well you were the one acting all smug like!"I responded
"There!!!"shouted one of the cops who caught up to me
"quick he's here!!take him away!!"shouted the girl named Rika
*bang!* they fired their guns however not to the desired target
Rika slowly turned around with her mouth and eyes open wide as she saw a black spot on the wall as it had smoke coming out
"WHAT THE HELL IS YOUR PROBLEM!?I'M WITH YOU GUYS!!"she shouted
"Rika hardy!!12 year old girl accused of theft of numerous jewelry shops and supermarkets"shouted one of the cops
'Wait
Hardy?'
"Oh yeah forgot about that"she said
"We're in the same boat then!!"I shouted
"AS IF!!"
Damnit,with her like this I can't run away,I need something to make her not get in my way
Then an idea came to my head
"Come on rika!we clearly can't fool them!they're too sharp!we need to run away now with all the money we stole!"I shouted
"SAY WHAT?!"she shouted
"So they're together!!inform the HQ!"shouted the officer
"WAIT YOU GOT IT WRONG!!!"she shouted as I then got up,grabbed her by the waist and created a web to the top of a house as we started to run away
"YOU'RE SO GONNA PAY FOR THIS!!"she shouted as she struggled to break free
"Yeah yeah!it's your own fault for looking at me with that smug look of yours"i responded as we then reached the exit of the town to the road ahead
I finally let go of her as she then got away and created a blue flame within the palm of her hand
"You'll see once I take care of you and take you to them I'll make a fortune out of you!"
"As if,they'll just brush you aside or even capture your along with me"i responded
She looked pissed as this time I was the one with the smug grin
"You can come with me if you want,besides
I want to ask you if you know someone by the name of sarah hardy
That is if leave this town with me"i said
Then a red light appeared out of nowhere as the ground beneath us gave in as I realized something heavy landed on the ground
"As if I'll let you run away"
I turned around
I feel like I'm in real trouble
