Ramblers

2012, Olan L. Smith

She comes in ports to manifest,

A jetty where Angel docks;

Sensations soar and heaven 'fesses

To caring, feathered flocks;

Our spirits mingle she reveals

Her silken skin fused;

Her snowy visage veils appeal.

"Your name?" I asked confused.

'Tis I Astarte lover queen."

She attaches mooring

Thus here and there and between

Time; space spans all dawning.

'Tis neither life nor dead I find;

I exist and do bestride

Universes amid alpha and end,

Here; I truly reside.

As heaven's gates unbolt I ask,

"Why am I on this world

Finite and fragile?" She replies,

"We come to this pearl,

Within an immense structured void,

To discern what is birth

And know a death; our fate employs

E'er wanderers with mirth

Within the multiverse, succinct

To exist brazenly

Our symbols upon kingdoms bright

And live in mortals free,

Between minute occasions attach

On humans forming thought

Your dreams and memories, unknown

We made contact and brought

This kindness, heaven's cause,

Love is all things boundless,

Amidst our thriving souls aware

The ramblers do coalesce.
