JACE POV
I felt Ira go limp in my arms and i had known that she had fallen asleep. I wanted to sleep too but i also wanted to savour this moment. This could possibly be the last time she allows me to hold her.
I know that the only reason she is letting me hold her is because she is tired and probably can't fight it.
I think as i trace little patterns on her arm. I want us to work. I'll do anything it takes for that to happen. I'm going to try my best to control my wolf, in fact i'm going to my dads house tomorrow so he can help me.
But before i leave, i want to ask Ira out on a date. This time, nothing can stop that from happenin. Except from the 2 letter word that might come oout of Iras mouth. No. I hope she doesn't say that, my heart would literally break if she did.
But i'm determined to get her, to win her heart. I'll do whatever it takes.
I inhaled her scent once more before closing my eyes and falling into a dreamless sleep.

I woke up because i felt something move under my arm. I peeped and eye open and saw Ira trying to get out of my grasp. I let out a low chuckle, hoping she wouldn't hear me, but she did. She shot her head up to look at me and she frowned.
"You've been watching me this whole time?" She basically yelled. I shook my head.
"Nah, i just woke up now. What time is it?"
"It's around 6:30am." My eyes widened. What was she doing up this early?
"Where are you going this early?" I said, tightening my grasp on her waist. "Please don't leave me."
She sighed and then rolled her eyes, "Chill, i need to go loo." She didn't even blush. She looked at me waiting for an answer. I chuckled then lifted my arm up. She immediatly shot up and ran to the bathroom. That girl is so straight forward. She'll make a good Luna.
I turned around so my stomach was on the bed and the side of my hands were under my head lying on the pillow. I was facing the side Ira was sleeping on which was away from the bathroom.
I inhaled her scent which was all over my bed, and it relaxed me. I let out a small sigh and closed my eyes. Then, something jumped on my back and straddled me.
"Mother f***er!" I screamed out in shock but when i heard Ira laugh, i laughed too. She sat on my naked back and started punching it in a rhythm. It was relaxing because everytime she punched me, it left little sparks. Then she stopped and jumped to the side of the bed, facing me. She gave me a small smile and i returned it.
"I don't know why i'm not mad at you. I should be because you almost killed Jack and you found me. But for some reason i'm not." She whispered, looking into my eyes. Her eyes held confusion and honesty. "Oh well, must be a mate thing and you're lucky i'm not on my period." She smiled and i chuckled.
"Yes, i think everyone is lucky." I chuckled. She opened her mouth to form and O and then she playfully punched me.
"Whatever! So, what's your plans for today?" She asked, sitting up and leaning onto the headboard, sitting indian style. I didn't want to lie with her, so i told her the truth.
"Well, i'm going to my dads house so he can teach me how to control my wolf." I sat up and copied her sitting position. She turned her face to look at me. "I'm doing this for you." She smiled and her eyes held respect. Woohoo! That was a step right? "Want to come?" I asked as an after thought.
"Uhhh, no thanks. I think i'll pass on that." I chuckled and then nodded. We sat there in an awkward but peaceful silence then i decided it was time to ask her.
"Hey, uhm...do you want to..er...go on that date tonight?" I rubbed the back of my neck with my hand, something i do when i get nervous. I was suprised with her reply.
"Uhm, i want to say yes but i'm scared that something might happen." She looked at her hands. I turned around and lifted her chin with my hand. Her eyes held worry and that made me frown.
"I promise, nothing bad will happen before, during or after the date. I promise." Her eyes lit up with a bit if hope. Slowly she nodded her head and smiled. I smiled and before i knew it, i kissed her. It was just like a peck but more intimate. She was shocked at first but then she responded.
I pulled back too soon, and she smiled at me. "But we have to go slow." I chuckled then nodded, letting my hand drop. I was about to get out of bed but she said something, "Where are we going?"
"It's a suprise babe."
She frowned. "Fine, but what should i wear?" I thought about it for a while before answering.
"Casual wear." I stated. She nodded and i continued to get off the bed. I turned around to face her and saw that she was stareding at my stomach, her mouth open. I let out a chuckle the said, "Like what you see?" She shook her head to ge out of her trance before getting up and smirking.
"Depends if you like what you see." She slowly lifted her shirt up but stopped just before her breasts. I was confused and looked at her stomach. There she had a 2 pack. It was cute. I only knew one other female that had it and that was because i trained her, my sister.
"Girl, put that down before i tackle you now and mark you as my own." She smirked and dropped her shirt instantly. I smirked then walked towards the bathroom.
"I'll see you down." She said as she exited the room. I turned around and nodded before entering the bathroom.
I had a quick shower and chucked on grey sweatpants (A/N: all their sweatpants have elastic at the bottom, to give it a baggy gangster look.), and a black loose tee. The ultimate comfort.
I walked over to my vanity and pulled out my wax from the first draw. I combed my sonny bill cut to the side and applied some wax on it, to keep it in place. Man i loved Sonny Bill. He was a awesome rugby player. I looked at the mirror and saw that my bruise was gone, all that was left was red markings.
Once i was satisfied, i walked out of my room, down the 2 lots of stair and into the lounge. Actually i have almost in but i heard crying and i boy yelling. I stopped and hid behind the wall, listening to their conversation.
"So you're breaking up with me for that Gabe guy?" It was James, my fourth in command. He sounded pissed. "So that 1 and a half years ment nothing to you?"
"I'm sorry James, but he's my mate. It's the fates decision." Kim said between sobs. "And you know they meant they world to me! We made a promise that if either of us find our mate then we'll break off!" She said a bit louder.
"You bitch! You're mine and only mine!" Then i heard something snap and then something or someone fall to the floor. James had slapped Kim. I could feel my eyes getting darker and my wolf slowly taking over. However i didn't let him.
That was no way to treat a female. No matter who they are. I let a growl escape my lips before i ran into the lounge, and stopped a step away from the door. I took the scene in. James was panting for air and glaring at Kim and Kim was lying on the floor, crying and holding her cheek.
That did enough to me. I ran and punched James straight on the face. He went flying but stopped when his body landed on the coffee tables, breaking the legs and falling. I ran over to Kim who was know standing and staring in shock.
"Are you ok?" I asked as i put my hands on her shoulders. I know that i'm an Alpha and i should be telling her to man up and put some ice on it but i felt sorry for her. She didn't deserve it that. She slowly nodded and i gave her a weak smile. "Don't worry, i'll deal with him, you ju-" I was cut short by someone growling.
Suddenly i was thrown against the room and held up against the wall. Gabe was strangling my neck and held me 2 feet off the floor. His eyes were a pitch black colour and he was snarling at me. I was slowly loosing oxygen and was become weaker.
"What did you do to her?!" He growled. I coughed, i wasn't able to say anything because he tightened his grip on my neck.
"Gabe! It was James, Alpha Jace helped me." Kim came and held Gabes arm and i saw his eyes go back to blue and he dropped me. I fell to the floor and took in a big gulp of air before standing up and glaring at Gabe.
"Shit, sorry man. I get protective of my mate." I nodded my head.
"It's cool. After you two..."I trailed off, "uhh, get someone to clean this up." Gabe nodded and then i ran out of the room, hoping that they wouldn't do anything infront of me. Now, it was finally time to go and see Ira.
IRA POV
I was so happy today! I'm not sure why though. I'm pretty sure it has to do with sleeping with Jace last night. Man, that was such a nice sleep. And tonight i'm going to a date woth him! I'm so excited!
But why, i'm not sure? I should be mad at him. But instead i'm happy? I'm weird, must be getting my period soon.
I quietly opened the door to my room and stepped outside into the hallway. I let out a sigh of relief. I had showered and not waken Gabe up. I decided to wear black black skinny jeans, a white baggy tee and my black chucks.
I started to walk down the stairs and into the kitchen. There was a man in there, he looked about 21? I had never seen him before. He was sitting on a stool, reading the newspaper while sipping coffee.
He was huge. Like bigger than Jace. Not fat but muscular. He had black hair and brown eyes and he was pretty cute. He was wearing black sweats and a grey hoodies with black nike high tops.
As i entered the room, he looked up and smiled, then looked back at his paper. I walked over to the island and stood opposite him.
"Hi, i'm Ira. I don't think we've met." She put the paper down and looked at me while smiling.
"I'm Dan." He shook my hand and then put it on his cup handle before sipping his coffee. I sighed and then walked into the fridge and pulled out some bacon. Score! I put the pan on and let it heat up before turning to Dan.
"So how old are?" He smirked.
"I'm 20, you?"
"I'm 18." I replied. He nodded and i chucked some bacon on the pan and flipped them over.
"You want some?" I asked as i placed some bacon on a plate. Suprisingly he shook his head.
"No thanks. I'm a vegan." I gasped. That must be so hard for him. Us wolves need the energy and protein that meat provides us with. And he so toned! I wonder how he did it. I shrugged my shoulder and turned the pan off. I placed the plate on the island and stood opposite to him.
"Why are you vegan?" I asked as i took a bite out of the bacon.
"I don't feel the need to kill animals and eat them." He shrugged his shoulders.
"Have you ever tried?" I asked, a bit curious.
"Yeah, when i was 10, Jace gave me chicken pasta and told me it was vegaterian but when i ate some it spat it out." I laughed my head off! That was crack up! It sounds like something that Jace would do. I stopped after i saw Dan looking at me with an amused expression.
"Sorry, so you know Jace for long?" I asked.
"Yep, him, John and I have been best friends since i was like 5 and they were 3." I nodded, that sounded cool.
"Come on, please try some." I said as i placed the last bacon peice on the plate and slid it over to him. He shook his head and slid it back. We did that about 10 times each untill Jace walked in.
"Hey Dan, hey babe." He walked over to me and spooned me from behind, kissing my forehead. "Is that for me?" He took the bacon and shoved it in his mouth. Dan smirked and i frowned and pushed him lightly.
"That was for Dan." I said, pointing a finger to Dan. Jace smirked.
"But Dan is vegan?" He asked.
"I know that sherlock but i was trying to get him to get some meat!" I said, walking over to sit on the stool next to Dan. Jace shrugged his shoulders and leaned on the counter. Dan was just staring at us, with an amused face.
"Anywho, i see you've met the pack warrior?" I stared at Jace in shock. This vegan wolf was the pack warrior? Oh. My. Gosh.
"You're the pack warrior?!" I screamed and stood up from the stool.
"Well, yeah. You're the future Luna?" I blushed and nodded.
"And future pack warrior." I added. Jace chuckled and Dan stood up. Man he was huge. He was like 6'2 and i was only 5'3.
"Is that a challenge?" He smirked. I chuckled.
"Hell yes. Tomorrow at 6pm, front of the house, you and I." I smirked and he nodded.
"See you there." With that he walked out of the kitchen, leaving me scared shitless.
