Dizzy.
That's the only way I can describe what I feel when Nayeon looks my way. My head starts spinning and I can no longer focus at my initial task at hand.
It's like I can't stay standing when I'm around her. All she has to do is send a wink or even a wave my way and I feel like falling to the ground.
She's all I can ask for and more.
I remember when she asked me out and the total shock I felt.
"Y/n?" I turned around to see Nayeon.
I looked at her in shock, totally enamored by her presence before smiling, "Hey! Would you like anything to drink?"
We were at The Hideout.
The cafe that my parents own. It was during my usual shift.
"Ah yes," She tucked her hair behind her ears, "I'll have a small vanilla latte."
"Alright," I grinned and rung her up, "That'll be two dollars."
She handed me some cash and waited patiently. I gave her the receipt and started making her drink. I lightly hummed, focused on making the drink.
I looked up and realized that Nayeon was still in front of the register. I worked a bit faster, not wanting to keep my crush waiting. Within a minute, her drink was ready. I hastily gave it to her with a small smile.
She promptly took the drink and thanked me. I nodded my head saying that it was no problem. She took a couple of slurps and looked at me, "This is really good!"
"Oh that's good," I replied, not knowing what else to say.
"I'm going to be honest," She sighed and placed her drink on the counter, "The real reason I came over here is because I wanted to ask you something."
"Alright," I gently smiled and waited for her to speak. My heart beating erratically.
"Okay," She let out a deep breath, "I would like to ask if...if maybe...uhhh."
I looked at her with warm eyes, "Take a deep breath and let it all out."
She followed my instructions and breathed in deeply before quickly stating, "Iwanttoaskifyouwouldliketogooutwithme."
I blinked in shock at how fast she spoke. She looked at me hopefully. I tilted my head, "Uhh. Do you mind running that by me again a bit more slowly?"
She sighed and looked down at her feet, "Would you like to go out with me?"
"Sure," I smiled, "What are we going to do?"
She smiled but then frowned at me, "You don't understand what I'm asking, do you?"
"No. I understand," I chuckled, "You want to hang out, right? How about the mall?"
She shook her head, "I like you, Y/n."
I grinned and replied, "I like you too!"
I didn't even think that she would like me in a more than friends kind of way. She's way out of my league.
She looked at me a bit frustrated, "I'm in love with you."
I froze.
There it was again.
The inability to balance.
She's making me dizzy.
"O-Oh," I stammered out as my head spun.
She sighed in disappointment at my reaction, "I guess you only see me as a friend, huh? I'll just leave."
I watched her as she sullenly walked away from me.
Gaining some confidence, I quickly gripped her wrist tightly yet softly. She looked back at me hopefully.
I gulped as my confidence withered, "I... I'm in love with you."
The smile she gave me when I said that will forever be plastered in my mind. She looked so happy and ecstatic.
"Y/n?" A hand waved in front of my face.
I snapped out of it and turned to see my coworker and bestfriend, Seulgi in front of me, "Huh?"
"I said do you think Nayeon will be fine with you coming to the club with me?" Seulgi questioned as she gave a customer his receipt.
I shrugged and started preparing the customer's drink, "As long as I don't cheat on her and if I'm with people who I can trust to look out for me."
Seulgi chuckled, "You? Cheat on Nayeon? That's about the same possibility as a pig being able to grow wings and fly."
I scratched my neck, "I love her. Why would I ever think about having someone else when I have her?"
Seulgi grinned, "That's cute. Be sure to stay next to me though, there are a lot of creeps at the club."
"Sure," I shrugged it off.
"Where is Nayeon by the way?" Seulgi frowned, "I haven't seen her in some time. She's usually next to you most of the time."
I chuckled as I handed her the customer's coffee, "She had a family thing to go to. Something about draining too many people."
"Ooo. A vampire fiasco," Seulgi teased and gave the drink to the customer, "How unusual."
I rolled my eyes, "Hey. Not all vampires are bloodsuckers who will drain you."
"Weren't you scared of Nayeon when she told you she was a vampire?" Seulgi cocked her eyebrow at me.
"...I honestly thought it was hot," I shrugged as my cheeks turned red.
Seulgi bursted out laughing as she heard my answer, "Wow."
I playfully smacked her shoulder, "Stop laughing at me! How did you react when Irene told you she was a vampire?"
"Honestly?" Seulgi murmured, "I was terrified of her. At least at first. But she kept pursuing me. Then one day she told me that if I really wanted her to leave me alone then just to tell her straight up..."
"And?" I gave her my full attention.
"I decided that if she liked me enough to let me go, even though it obviously killed her...Then why not give us a chance?" Seulgi smiled fondly at the memory but there was a hint of sadness in her eyes.
I softly smiled and patted her back, "You two make a great couple. Where's Irene? Is she coming to the club with us?"
"I think she went with Nayeon because of the 'draining too many humans' problem," Seulgi muttered quietly, "It'll just be the two of us."
"Ah okay," I nodded my head but couldn't help but notice that she seemed a bit checked out.
Time skip~
"Why'd you choose this club?" I looked around the place in disdain.
Seulgi rolled her eyes, "Because you didn't want to go to the other clubs. You are so picky."
"Whatever. Let's just go dance or something," I pulled her to the dance floor.
"Actually, I wanted to get a drink first," She smiled at me sheepishly.
I narrowed my eyes at her, "You cannot hold your liquor though."
"I just want to get loose and have some fun. You can drive us back home," She looked at me pleadingly.
I sighed and followed her as she went to the bar and ordered six tequila shots. I raised my eyebrows at her, "That's quite a lot."
"I'll be fine," She waved me off and downed all of the shots in twenty seconds. She lightly grimaced as the alcohol burned her throat.
I looked at her in total shock.
She glanced back at me and grinned, telling me that she was fine.
But her eyes told me how upset she was. I stood right next to her and held her hand, "What's wrong?"
Several minutes passed by until Seulgi finally responded.
"Nothing is wrong," She whispered but there was a tremor in her voice.
"Seulgi," I whispered softly, "I've known you since we were in diapers. It's me you're speaking to. What's wrong?"
A couple of more minutes passed by.
Seulgi's face turned a bit red and her eyes were dilated, she started laughing out loud. I sighed and realized that she was drunk. It hasn't even been ten minutes and she's already wasted.
"You know what's funny?" She abruptly stopped laughing and spoke in a clear voice, "When the people you love only seem to hurt you. That those who can betray can only be your friends and family. An enemy can't betray you."
I frowned and started pulling her away from the bar, "We need to get you home."
"I think Irene is cheating on me," Seulgi muttered lowly.
I froze and looked at her in shock.
She continued, "She's been coming home late, not telling me what she's doing, and she smells like someone else's perfume."
A body suddenly smacked into me causing me to fall to the dance floor. I groaned in pain and realized that I was pinned underneath a drunk guy. He looked at me in a daze, "I'm S-Sorry. I drank a bit, a bit a lot."
I lightly pushed him off of me and looked for Seulgi. I didn't see her anywhere.
"You are very," The guy burped, "Pretty. Do you want to have a fun t-time with me?"

"Sure," He smirked and lightly started pulling her out of the bar.

Seulgi brightened up when she saw me, "Y/n! This guy is going to take me to Irene's house! Isn't he so nice?"
He looked down at me. Jesus, this guy is tall. He's even taller than Seulgi.
"Who are you?" He narrowed his eyes at me.
"I'm her girlfriend," I immediately yelled and held Seulgi's hand, "If I see you try to take advance of my drunk girlfriend or any other girl/guy for that matter- I will shove my hand so far up your a-"
"Whatever," The man scoffed and walked away as he realized that my screaming was drawing attention from everyone.
I sighed in relief before glaring at Seulgi. She looked at me and giggled, "You're so cute when you're angry."
I rolled my eyes and led her out of the club. We were in the parking lot when Seulgi suddenly pinned me against the passenger door of her car.
I looked at her in confusion, "Uh Seulgi? What-"
I was suddenly cut off when she pressed her lips against mine.
It wasn't even two seconds when Seulgi was suddenly ripped away from me by someone. I shook my head and looked at the two new people who were glaring at us.
I gulped, "Nayeon...Irene...Uhh hey..?"
Nayeon lightly pushed Seulgi into Irene's arms and approached me. Her eyes were flashing dangerously, "Irene. Take Seulgi home."
Irene was still glaring at me before she lightly guided her girlfriend away from us. They didn't even take her car.
I felt nervous as Nayeon's red eyes stared at me. Her closeness still makes me dizzy. I bit my lip and tried to explain myself, "Nay-"
"We're going home," She interrupted me and growled into my ear, "You're going to be punished."

"I was in shock," I replied gently, "She took me completely by surprise."
"I know Seulgi is handsy when she's drunk but why did she make a move on you? Even when she's drunk, she often knows boundaries," Nayeon muttered a bit darkly.
"I think Irene is cheating on me." Seulgi's words echoed in my mind.
"You and Irene are close, right?" I questioned Nayeon.
"Yes," She replied.
"...Is Irene cheating on Seulgi?" I decided to just be blunt.
Nayeon's eyes widened, "What?! No!"
"Seulgi says that she's been coming home late and smelling like someone else," I explained.
Nayeon seemed to be thinking and suddenly stated, "Oh! I know why."
"Why?" I narrowed my eyes.
"Can you keep a secret?" Nayeon locked eyes with me.
"It depends on what you're going to say," I muttered suspiciously.
Nayeon suddenly beamed, "Irene is proposing to her. The perfume Seulgi smelled on her was probably Joy's. She's helping her plan it all out."
"Really?" I squealed, "I'm so excited for them!"

I stopped squealing and looked at Nayeon, "Irene isn't going to kill me, right? I saw the look she gave me before she left with Seulgi."
"Not when I'm around," Nayeon wrapped her arms around me protectively, "Plus she knows how much you mean to Seulgi. She won't lay a hand on you."
There was a moment of silence as Nayeon and I stared at each other lovingly. She kissed my temple softly as I buried my face into the crook of her neck.
"I love you, babygirl."
"I love you too."
