Taehyung’s lips began to quiver as tears were streaming out of his eyes. Hoseok now realized, without Taehyung telling him, how Taehyung really felt about him. Hoseok was so blinded by all the memories they shared and now looking back, Taehyung was actually hiding his true feelings.
Taehyung staggered forward, having another anxiety attack, and fainted. Hoseok quickly caught Taehyung in his arms and carried him to his bed which was closer to the door. Hoseok laid Taehyung down and then went to shut the door close, locking the lock. Hoseok didn’t know what to do so he got on the bed and laid next to Taehyung who was still passed out. Hosoek reached over and cleaned off the tears that were still stained on Taehyung’s face. Hoseok couldn’t stand it anymore, he pulled Taehyung’s body closer to him and wrapped his arms around Taehyung.
“I promise I will never hurt you ever again, Taehyung.” Hoseok whispered. He then pressed his lips on Taehyung’s forehead. Hoseok closed his eyes and fell asleep, forgetting today as if it was just a bad dream.
Taehyung woke up being suffocated in Hoseok arms. He questioned it for a minute and then all his memories came back to him. Being dragged into the alley, Hoseok and Jimin, fainting and most of all the pain his heart suffered during the whole episode. He still didn’t understand why Hoseok was clinging to him.
Hoseok woke up in a matter of minutes later and with a result Taehyung pushing Hoseok off him, making him fall in the floor.
“What the heck Taehyung?” Hoseok yell. Taehyung sat in indian style with his arm crossed.
“You deserved that, you.. you.. buttface.” Taehyung said as he turned his head away from Hoseok who was still on the ground.
“Oh, so now my face is a butt?” Hoseok smirked and stood up.
“You know what I meant.” Taehyung pouted and got up as Hoseok got on the bed.
“Taehyung… I didn’t mean for all of this to happen.” Hoseok looked down at his hands, thinking of ways to win Taehyung back.
Taehyung snapped loud, “Well you should've thought about it before you knew who were hurting.” Taehyung turned around to hide his tears from Hoseok. Hoseok took one breath and walked over, still behind Taehyung.
“Taehyung I have something to say.” Hoseok said. He took another breath to calm his heart rate. “I never really got to properly confess, but better late than sorry.” Hoseok pause and let out more words. “Taehyung lets forget all of this ever happened.” Hoseok wrapped his arms around Taehyung, who was still facing his back to Hoseok. “Will you finally be mine?”
Taehyung’s emotions broke letting out a cry. Taehyung had waited for this day ever since he began to develop feeling for his hyung. But the odds of it being this day fascinated Taehyung.
Taehyung stood still as Hoseok let his arms fall to the side. Taehyung turned around and faced Hoseok, inches apart from both their faces. Taehyung pressed his lips together, looking straight into Hoseok’s eyes. While Hoseok was biting the insides of his cheeks, waiting for Taehyung to say something. But all Taehyung did was wrap his arms around Hoseok’s torso and cried even more. Hoseok sighed in relief at Taehyung’s acceptance and returned the favor by hugging him even tighter. They stayed liked that for a awhile.
“Taehyung.” Hoseok said, breaking the silence.
“Yes?” Taehyung peeked his head out to look at Hoseok.
“It’s been a long day, let’s go to bed.” Taehyung nodded, broke away from Hoseok and headed to his bed.
“No, my bed.” Hoseok grabbed Taehyung’s wrist and led him over to Hoseok’s bed. Taehyung smiled and gladly followed. They both climbed under the covers and snuggled up to each other, falling asleep.
Morning came fast with the same old routine, but this morning was different. Hoseok woke up to the annoying school alarm, untangled himself from Taehyung, who was still passed out. Hoseok smiled at the sight and then headed to his dresser to grab some clothes. He doubled checked he had them with him while walking to the bathroom.
He shut the the bathroom and like always, looked in the mirror and turned on the shower. He unclothed himself and stepped into the shower. He let the hot water run off of his body as he thought it was quite refreshing. As Hoseok was shampooing, he heard a noise of a door opening and then closing. Hoseok stopped what he was doing and peeked his head out of the shower curtain.
It was Taehyung, who was declothing himself. Hoseok made a mental note in his head to lock the door next time and pulled his head back into the shower as his heart began to pick up.
“Uh, Taehyung what are you doing?” Hoseok really wanted to know the answer.
Taehyung in a inist, replied. “I'm going to take a shower, what do you think I’m doing.”
“But, I’m in the shower, Tae.” Hoseok said.
“So.” Taehyung paused and then added, “Hoseok have you ever heard of the phrase, ‘Save water, take showers together.’? Well we should really learn from it and apply it.” Hoseok facepalmed himself in the shower.
“Taehyung I swear to God, if you come into-” Taehyung pulled back the shower curtain back and stepped into the shower. Hoseok glared at Taehyung and said, “Keep your eyes up here.” Hoseok made an invisible line that went across his chest with his hand. Taehyung nodded in obedience.
Hoseok was still scrubbing the bubbles out of his hair when soap hit his eye. He turned around to wash the soap off his face. Suddenly Hoseok heard a bang like someone had hit the ground. Hoseok turned back around to see Taehyung laying on the bottom of the tub. He had seems to slip and fall. Hoseok immediately began to laugh uncontrollably and Taehyung joined in.
“Yah! Help me up would you?” Taehyung shouted over the loudness of the running water. Hoseok payed no attention as he continued to laugh. Taehyung frustrated, took his foot and tripped Hoseok, making him go down, falling on top of Taehyung.
Silence came upon both of them as they looked at each other.The only sound was the water from the shower. Taehyung giggled as Hoseok face turned red. Hoseok eyes went wide and quickly got to his feet then grabbed Taehyung’s hand to pull him up. Taehyung smiled faintly and embraced Hoseok with his arms.
“I knew I was going to lose you when we were just friends.” Taehyung continued. “That you would come home to me with a pretty little girl with a ring on her finger.” Taehyung swallowed hard. “That you would moved out and have kids. Also find the love that was meant to be with a girl.” Hoseok took a breath and hugged Taehyung tight as he started to speak again.
“But now… I don’t have to be afraid of losing you, just afraid of the world taking you away from me.” Hoseok kept silent. “I’m scared, Hoseok. I can’t afford to lose you.” Taehyung buried his face into Hoseok’s neck. Hoseok took one hand to pet Taehyung’s head.
“And you won’t lose me. Promise.” Hoseok said. “You won’t face this alone because I’ll be right by your side.” Taehyung peeked up to look at Hoseok.
“Promise?” Taehyung’s eyes twinkled from the tears that were forming. Hoseok nodded as he began to smile to ease Taehyung’s feelings.
Taehyung reached his head up and brushed his lips to Hoseok lips in one quick peck. Taehyung bit his lip in embarrassment and stepped away. Hoseok let out a small laugh, grabbed Taehyung by the waist to pull him in again and kissed Taehyung in return.
Taehyung reached his hands up to cup Hoseok’s face as he pressed his lips harder to Hoseoks. Hoseok wrapped both his hands Taehyung’s waist to his lower back.
“We need to go Taehyung or our dorm leader will be wondering why the water bill is so high this month.” Hoseok said in between kisses. Taehyung broke off, laughed then paused, letting his hands fall to his sides. Hoseok let go also and turned the water off. They both got out and dried themselves off, getting ready for school.
