Saturday morning , I just love Saturday morning don't you ? You can sit around , not worrying about getting ready for work or school work , having someone-
Ugh nevermind. I got out of bed groaning because its a Saturday morning what do expect. I was pissed somebody was knocking on my door. It better be good ,because I was having good dream. " just a sec " I yelled. I slipped on my slippers didn't Even care what I was wearing. In was just wearing a big sleeping shirt that hid my pj shorts. Ugh never stay up drawing and reading books on wattpad. Believe me its addictive when your I mean when im pissed. I walk past my living room where my art supplies are still scattered on the glass table. I open the door without looking through the peephole. I felt like a ton of ice water just hit me. My eyes widen looking at the person in front of me . haven't seen this guy in years . He was like a big brother to me and to someone else. During middle school , When I was close with trey, We will always teased each other . " Darren " I whispered . He me gave that smirk that always have me want slap him for teasing me.
"Well .Well . You have some nerve little A. I thought we close friends but you haven't text or contact me ." he said playfully. I smiled and laughed. " I miss you too Darren ." I said while hugging him
He playfully pick me up and spin me around . I squeal " Well I can tell " he said while looking at what I was wearing. " you're still a teasing perv and don't get too happy . I have on shorts ." We laughed and I welcomed him in. " Wait here and don't touch nothing . I'm going to get ready. " I said. He put his hands up as a sign of surrender " Trust me Little A I won't." " yet ".he said while I was heading to my closet to grab some clothes and to the bathroom to get ready.
20 mins later I was done . I walk back to the living room , Catching Darren looking in my drawing book and art . Well I Did have it laying open on my table. " Well I see you made yourself comfortable. " He looked up and smiled while I sat next to him. " You haven't change little A, always sketching." He said while looking through my second art book. I raised an eyebrow " You haven't change either Darren ." I pick up a magazine " Mr. Handsome billionaire Bachelor. Wow it said Girls are crazy for you ." And here comes the smart ass comment.Plus you can see him in the Models magazines. " Aww A. You're jealous . that's okay but you can't have all this pot of gold to yourself " he said huskily while hugging me. I rolled my eyes and laughed. How much I Miss his smart comments and tease.
We talked about what was going on in our lives since we last met. Well Darren got himself a big international business and he was here for a meeting. Speaking of meeting. How did he get my address. " Hey how did you know I was here ?" He smirked " well Darling I can't tell you my secret . That would ruin it . Beside I was just walking up here to meet a friend we both know and happen to see your name ." A Friend? What Friend. I'll ask him later about that but I wanted to ask him something. I think this might clear things up . " Darren have you ever talk to Trey recently? " He looked confused " Yea, Actually we talked on the phone this morning. We supposed to meet but I want to come here first to surprise you "
" Did he change his last name to Williams perhaps ?" I felt like I was holding on to my breath that I couldn't let go. " Yea . since His parents divorce they split the family business up 50/50 . So his parents told him that he will be the next in line and Will have to change his last name to his Father last name." My eyes widened . Just as I thought !!! My Past love is My Boss !! That explain why he kept calling me Ari and know so much about me. He was also rich when we met. Money doesn't matter but he kept his family away from me. No wonder I couldn't go visit his family probably hate me because I'm not rich enough for their son. I sighed and calm down. " Shit " I said out loud. " Well He's now my Boss and happens to be my neighbor "
Darren had this face expression that I love to see when he's shocked. " Anyway Are you going to the High School reunion ?" " Hell yeah I'm going and I'm expecting to see you also." I heard a knock on my door . I Wonder who it was . I open the door and saw Maria. She walked in . " Can get a Hey Chica" I closed the door and made my way into the living room. " Little A not going to introduce me to her lovely new Friend. You wounded me " he said while he put his hands over his heart. " Maria . This guy is my lovely teasing best friend Darren. I'm sure you heard of him. Darren, This my new friend that works with me Maria. Trey's assistant. " Darren can be a playboy but deep down he's a gentleman and always be there. He kiss her hand and Maria blushed. "Nice to meet you Maria.I heard good things about you Too bad you wasn't my personal assistant." He said smoothly with a wink. Oh god please stop I don't want to be in the middle of a flirting session. Plus its in my apartment.
We talked and laughed. I decided to take maria with me to the reunion because Darren kept asking me over and over again. He always get me with the puppy face. I sigh and decided that we all should go out to eat. I grabbed my keys and put on my shoes. I opened the door and saw Trey. "Hi " he said. I was still pissed with him and decided to talk about when we are alone. Last night when I saw that female came out his apartment. Ugh calm down Ari just calm down.
" Hi" I said back. " Well if isn't Trey "Darren said behind me . " Hey Darren What happen to meeting me. Its been a long since we hang out. " he said while staring at me. " Well we was heading to somewhere to go eat . wanna Come ?" Trey stared at me . In my eyes was telling him to refuse but he did the complete opposite. Great now its just the four of us are on our way to the garage to get in the car. We spilt up in two cars. Trey and I was in trey car while Maria was with Darren. I sat in the car quietly looking out the window . I can tell that he occasionally look over at me . Trey Sigh " You're ignoring me again . what have done to you to make you slam the door in face last night? " " Oh I don't know . I guess it started when I saw another female out of your apartment. Plus she look like she hate me . I wanna , uggh" I said harshly and angrily.I cooled down " look we will talk about it after dinner ."
We arrive at the place Darren told us to meet him. I got out the car when a hand grabbed my waist and push me to a hard chest. "Promise?" He whispered. Damn he sound hot . "Promise" I said shaky. He kiss my jawline before Darren and Maria came to meet us. He let go of me and we went in. I felt like I was drowning in his scent and voice.

We finished our dinner ,Thank God ! Darren kept throwing flirts and passes Maria way. I laughed so hard how Maria responded back. That let you know the Handsome bachelor couldn't get all the girls that easy. Maria is smart and she also clever with boys. Trey took Maria home anyway while I drove back with Trey. We arrived at my place. I welcomed him in to my apartment. I took off my shoes and drop my keys in the key holder. "Wow great apartment you got" he said. "Thanks , have a seat "
" Well Ari . that girl that you saw , was my friend in high school. Her name is Melena but I call her Mel. She came to school just before You left without telling me. She came to ask me for photo for the high school reunion. " Oh there was no reason to get angry. " Oh sorry and why didn't you tell me about your family? " I said grabbing my artbook to draw. " Did it really matter if I did ?" He asked. "Actually yes, I always wonder where you get your looks or personality from " I said while drawing a cartoon pic of trey. I look up and saw him smiling "oh really .. Sketchy" we was in silence while I was humming and drawing him . " Done " I said smiling. I turned it around to show him . I'm not very good with realistic or portrait but I tried. When I looked up I saw passion love but also sadness in his eyes before he blink it away. " Ari , still know how to draw "
Well of course its my hobby. " Do you still play music ?"
"Sometimes which is rare when I'm not working but yeah " He said . I remember when we will sit in my art studio, he will sing for me while playing his music while I danced and paint on the wall. It was relaxing but Things change when that day came . All it bring was Heartbreak and Fantasy memories. I was lost in thought and noticed that trey found us a movie to watch. " Need for speed? You know me so well ." I said happily. I love action in my movies and what's better than fast cars doing stunts. It was getting late I couldn't keep my eyes open . I felt my legs were stretch across trey’s lap . I let the darkness take me . they last thing I heard myself say "Why did you break my heart that day". A tear fell down my cheek. I went to sleep before I heard a reply.
Trey POV:
" Actually yes, I wonder where you get your looks or personality from " Ari said. I was surprised at what she said . "Oh really Sketchy"I didn't know that she wanted to meet my family but I didn't want my family nasty criticism to affect our relationship. I saw Ari humming and drawing like always . I always love when she smile and draw . she always show a calm expression that make me relax and want to hold her. Since that day she caught me with that dirty little female that set me up , She showed me a expression of heartbroken. I felt like it will kill me but it did when she Left. I fallen like a fool for this women in front of me. She doesn't know she already have me wrapped around her little finger. I turned on the tv and found a movie that me and Ari love to watch. " Need for speed? You know me so well .” she said.
In the middle of the movie, I noticed Ari dripping to sleep. I spread her legs over my lap and let her drip off to sleep. "Why did you break my heart that day" she said . My eyes widened and I faced her. she was talking and crying in her sleep that break my heart even more to see the love of my life feeling that way.”Mi amor, I will make up to you some day” I whispered. I removed the tears that was sliding down her face with my thumb. I kissed her a goodnight.
