Harry's POV

I had to concentrate. We're almost done recording and then- we're free. If I even sang one note funny, we'll just have to keep redoing the verse over and over and I didn't have time for that. I had to see if Holly was okay. Or if it was even Holly. God, I hope it wasn't her. But I had to check, just to make sure, you know?

I mentally groaned.

Focus, Harry, you're almost done.

Maybe a few more minutes. Maybe ten? Fifteen at the most. These lads better not mess anything up. They don't know I'm in a hurry.

Suddenly, the music in my headphones stopped.

"Um, why don't we try that one again," the studio worker's voice spoke through the booth. "Niall and Harry, harmonize a little better and Liam try and keep your voice lower. Louis- higher. Ready?"

I tapped my foot and ran my hands through my hair impatiently as I let out an annoyed sigh. I mumbled a yes along with the other boys.

Louis chuckled quietly at me. "You alright there lad?" he asked but I didn't have time to answer before the music started to play again.

Only to stop again.

UGH.

Holly's POV

Ow.

What the fuck?

That was all that was going through my head right now. What even just happened?

The last thing I remember was having to slow down in the middle of the road because some girls with huge signs decided to run across the road right then. Next thing I knew, my car was lurched forward and impaled into a street lamp. Thank God for seat belts, or else I would have been limp on the sidewalk. I probably bruised up my arm a with though when it got crushed between my body and the steering wheel. My stomach felt a bit squished from the seatbelt, but other than that... I was pretty sure the rest of my body was okay. I leaned back in my seat and rubbed my temples. I can't believe I just got in a car crash. My boss better not find out; I have work tomorrow and if I have one horrible, ugly bruise, she'll have my head.

I must have just sat there for about five to ten minutes before my stupid mind thought:

Wait. What if my car blows up?

Oh my God, I have to get out. I started to panic. I doubt it really will blow up, but my hood was all smokey and steamy and I'm a paranoid person. I always prepare for the worst case scenarios. I grabbed my purse and any belongings in my car I absolutely needed, and carefully slipped out of the car and stumbled out onto the street and circled around to the sidewalk. The crash stopped most traffic on the road and I could hear the sirens in the distance. It hurt to flex my wrist and I was starting to worry. It better not be fractured or anything.

Wait, my car. It was so damaged. I don't have the money to repair it! Seriously, can't I catch a break here? I'm going to get kicked out of my flat! Then have to move back in with my parents...

I started to get angry.

I marched right up to the giant truck that hit me and banged on the driver's window until he rolled it down. The man inside had a grey beard and was missing some teeth. I could practically smell his disgusting stench from where I was standing.

"Don't worry sweetheart," his gruff voice said. "I'll pay for the damages and whatever." He even had the nerve to belch.

"Don't you sweetheart me, you filthy scavage!" I shrieked. I'm really not one to be rude but he was pulling my last straw.

"Yeah, yeah," he mumbled and hacked up a loogey. "Here's my number. Just call me when you find out the cost of damages."

He held a yellowed card out of his window. He was so repulsive it- it just made me want to scream! So I did- scream, I mean. Out of frustration. "I will make sure you pay to the last dime, thank you very much!"

I snatched the card away from and trudged away, hearing him mock me in laughter as I stormed off. I huffed and sat down on a bench along the sidewalk. I stared at the two connecting cars and noticed he barely even had a scratch on his monster of a truck! Meanwhile, my bumper was half off and forget about whatever happened to myengine!

I held my head in my hands and sighed as the sirens got closer.

At least I'm okay.

-------------------------

After multiple questions from the police and a quick examination from an ambulence, the old truck driver and my car were gone.

I sat back down on the bench on the sidewalk and leaned my head back to face the clear blue sky. The cold air was crisp on my rosy cheeks and my nose started to get a little red and runny. I finally realized I had to call Poppy to get me a ride back to my flat since my car was now being repaired.

"Ello?" she answered on the first ring.

I weakly smiled. "'Ey, Poppy," I mumbled.

"Jeez, you sound like shit, love. You alright?"

"Yeah, yeah," I sighed. "Just some moron totaleed my car. Would you come pick me up, maybe? I need a ride back home."

"Of course!" she squealed. "Where are you?"

I groaned. I didn't know. I looked around my surroundings. That's when I realized the huge crowd of... girls, it seemed. They were all surrounding this building I was in front of, holding signs up in the air. I couldn't read them though. Wait, isn't this a studio or something? Hm, yeah, I think it was. Someone famous must be here now or something...

"Holly? You there?" Poppy's voice rang through the phone.

"Oh, yes, sorry. I think I'm at a recording studio... does that sound right to you?"

"Yeah!" she cheered, "Don't we pass that building on our way to work?"

"Yeah, I think so."

"Okay, well I'll be right over then, love. Stay put, okay?"

"Believe me, I'm not going anywhere," I laughed. "And thanks a bunch, Poppy. Love you," I said and hung up.

Now, all I have to do is wait...

Harry's POV

"Alright, lads, you're done for today. Sorry for the inconvinience on your boys' day off, but work's gotta get done. It will not happen again. Be here tomorrow, same time, alright?"

I was out of the booth the second he started to say something.

"Wait, Harry!" my name was called. I let go of the door knob and pulled at my curls as I spun around. "Yes, Paul?"

"Are you alright, lad? You've been acting kind of... funny, lately."

"Yeah, I'm fine. But I've really got to get going... I'm not feeling to well, you know? I must've caught a bug or something. So let's all hurry home, now!"

I didn't let him ask anymore questions because I ran out of the door and to the lifts and frantically pushed the 'down' button.

"Come on, lads!" I called to the others so we could get security ready and ward off the fans so we could leave. "Chop chop!"

"Goodness, Harry, calm yourself, lad, what's the rush?" Louis complained as he and the other boys plus Paul entered the elevator room just as a lift opened. I practically pushed everyone inside of it.

"Nothing, nothing. I just want to go home. It was supposed to be our day off, you know."

"Yeah, yeah," he mumbled, "I know, lad. You told me that this morning."

"Did I now?" I asked, barely even paying attention to him as I stared at the numbers ticking down to 'lobby'.

The doors slid open and I bolted out of there. Thank God, security was already outside waiting for us. "Come on, Lou!" I yelled. I forgot we had came here together so I had to wait for his slow ass. "Hurry up, would 'ya?" I shouted.

He purposely swung his arms at his side and literally strolled through the lobby. "No, I think I'll just take my time," he smiled deviously.

"Come on, Lou," I whined desperately and the other lads snickered.

He pretended he didn't hear me and bent down to tie his lace-less shoe.

"Louis!" I yelled at him, becoming annoyed. "I'll leave you here!"

"I think he's being serious," Paul whispered to Louis. "You might want to hurry it up, boy."

"Please, he just wants to see some girl," Lou chided and my cheeks flushed.

"No!" I defended. 'Yes!' my heart said. "I just, I heard a car crash outside and I want to make sure the people are okay." That was partly true.

Louis stood up but didn't walk as he looked at everyone's face with an annoying smirk on his face.

"Aw, come on, Lou," Niall finally spoke. "Just go home and annoy him there."

Louis rolled his eyes but actually started to walk towards the door with me.

Thank you Niall! I smiled at him and he returned the favor.

I looked out the door and somehow, the building's security had managed to clear the whole area of screaming girls, though the occasional fan lingered by, but out of attacking distance.

I immediately looked to where the car was crashed, to find... nothing. Well, the crash did happen about and hour ago. My heart slid all the way down to my feet. She's probably left already. I stepped out fot he building and scanned the entire surroundings. Nothing.

I groaned loudly and pulled at my hair as we walked to our cars, Paul guarding us from behind.

"Harry, what's up with you?" Liam asked.

"Nothing," I mumbled. "I just want to go home."

None of them questioned me any further, though you could feel the awkward in the air. We were almost to the parking spots now where our cars sat waiting for us, but the longing to see Holly had never left. So I took one more look behind me, over Paul's shoulder.

And I stopped walking causing Paul to bump into me, causing me to kind of stumble into Zayn.

"Wait!" I shouted as loud as I could and took off sprinting to the girl who was about to get into a car. A girl with the same coloured hair as Holly's, same figure and everything. It had to be her.

"I knew he was going to do something stupid, I knew it," I heard Paul grumble behind me before he took off after me.

"Go get her, Harry!" Niall cheered on stupidly.

So I ran, and ran, and in about ten seconds, the girl was just getting into the car. I was almost there. So close.

She was just about to shut the door.

"Holly!" I screamed once I approached the car and she stopped and looked up at me like a deer in headlights.
