In someone's garden, there you see various roses. Roses that range of the colors of white to crimson. Amongst all of those thorned beauties, you see this one specific flower―a white carnation.
Its bush was planted in a rectangular pot. It was perfectly healthy, bright green leaves and quite thick stems. The soil where it's planted is also moist, only idiots would think that the plant was mistreated. Despite it being such a healthy plant, it was only then it blossomed one flower.
Of course, you're going to be attracted to it. Mesmerized by its white petals, it was definitely something else compared to the roses. Having it gives you the power and ego knowing that you've got something unique, something that others don't.
What are you going to do? Are you going to keep the flower for yourself or leave it be?

A girl entered the gym then silently made her way to the bleachers not wanting to disturb Aoba Johsai volleyball club's practice. Despite being so cautious with her actions, some members didn't fail to notice her.
One of them being the team's ace; Iwaizumi Hajime.
A smile immediately made it's way on to his face but soon faltered once he recalled that his best friend was nearby and didn't want to cause any ruckus.
Others like Kunimi would occasionally find their gaze on her but was failed to be recognized by the girl who was so engrossed with reading whatever she brought while waiting for no one from the team then leave few minutes before their practice ended. The younger teammates have unanswered questions but would never have the guts to question any of their senpais.
Who is she? Is she a fan of Oikawa-san? A relative of Iwaizumi-san? Why is she allowed to enter the gym?
Their questions that were remained unanswered continued to bug them as days went on while the girl would always visit them but have done nothing in particular.
It happened again today, the girl would secretly go inside their gym, makes herself comfortable on the bleachers, read, and then leave as if she wasn't there in the first place. Kunimi couldn't handle it, it's not like he cares really but he would always notice how Kindaichi would always make himself look like a fool trying to empress the oblivious female senior.
"Kindaichi, stop it." He told the other spiritlessly before making his way to the clubroom and change.
He sighed, before he slammed his locker loudly for everyone who was present to be startled, Yahaba who just entered with Kindaichi held on his chest before exclaiming how shocked he was.
Not minding Yahaba and his dramatics, Kunimi faced the 3rd years. "Senpai, there's this girl who keeps on visiting us during practices and just sits on the bleachers. Does anyone of you know her?" He boldly asked.
Almost everyone―aside from the 3rd years had their eyes wide from the question.
Matsukawa and Hanamaki had their mouths shut as they found their gaze on Iwaizumi who's mouth made an 'o' shape and Oikawa who remained unbothered as he hummed a yes.
"She's my girlfriend." The brunette answered.
A few clatters were soon heard, obviously, those were the sound from the things that fell from the hands of the other members while the others had that obvious look of shock printed all over their faces. Upon hearing this, he, Oikawa raised his brow looking at everyone before questioning.
"What? It's not like it's impossible, after all, I'm perfect in every way." Oikawa boosted his own ego. He laughed as if the tension in the air was nothing. Iwaizumi rolled his eyes at his foolish best friend, despite being annoyed at Oikawa 24/7 he still cared about him.
He couldn't help but notice how empty his best friend's laugh was.
Wanting to hit Oikawa's head for leaving one particular detail―he prevented himself, he told everyone about it instead. "Her name is Yumi Hanako. She's my cousin."
Now everyone's attention was directed to Iwaizumi, oddly enough the tension lifted as if the other members no longer stepped on a landmine by the moment he spoke. Sighs of relief and murmurs were soon heard as they continued their own thing wanting the comfort of dinner and their bed back at their respective homes.
Kunimi, couldn't help but observe how tense the 3rd years were. What was wrong with the topic of Oikawa-san's girlfriend?

The next day had some quite turn of events. The girl didn't make an appearance. For sure everyone noticed that they became more attentive towards the girl after knowing her connection towards Oikawa and Iwaizumi. Coincidentally, Oikawa is also nowhere to be seen.
Did Oikawa ditch their practice just to have a date with his girlfriend?
Oikawa wasn't like that and Iwaizumi knew. He knows for sure that his best friend wouldn't miss a volleyball practice to save his damn life. Except for those times when the boy's parents would literally prevent him from leaving the household just so he wouldn't strain his bad knee more.
Were his fangirls bugging him again?
Everyone knows this is more likely the case, Oikawa being the huge flirt he is would also acknowledge them rilling Iwaizumi up more.
Not long after a faint laugh of a girl and Oikawa's obnoxious voice could be heard just outside the doors of their gym, their practice was then put on halt anticipating the next events. Almost everyone except the 3rd years thought the girl their captain is with was the 'bleacher girl'.
The third years had their doubts―Iwaizumi knew what was going on. An irk mark formed on his forehead, clearly pissed.
The girl Shittykawa is with right now isn't my cousin.
You see, despite being a well-known couple, Tooru and Hanako's relationship isn't exactly what people expect.
There you have the prince, he was good-looking, his overall physique is practically immaculate. Then his princess, she's everything you wanted to have as a girlfriend. So what was wrong in their relationship?
They don't even know it themselves, it was a big question mark.

Yumi looked at Oikawa with so much adoration ever since she was younger. She loved how passionate and amazing the boy is towards volleyball, she loved how easy going Oikawa was towards her cousin, it never once falter even after she witnessed how Oikawa lost his cool and almost hit his kouhai back in middle school.
It wasn't like he did it on purpose, he even felt bad and apologized.
She was always there to help him out, even during the time he had a girlfriend who then had broken up with him because he's too focused on volleyball. Oikawa appreciated the girl, her kindness that overflows so sweet like the nectar that Olympian gods drank. He wanted more of that.
Despite knowing each other for so long―the two of them never engaged themselves in courtship and other stages before they got together, there wasn't even the famous 'will you go be my girlfriend/boyfriend?' question. It sort of just happened.
At first, their parents were skeptical.
How did this happen? When?
Not long after they realized there's nothing wrong with it―it's not like the other was a stranger, so they brushed it off. Iwaizumi however was the harder hurdle to pass, he didn't like the idea. He knew Oikawa better than anyone else, he knows the facade Oikawa was putting up in front of everyone.
Even if he wasn't in favor of the setup, he didn't want to ruin something that made his dear cousin so happy. He was well aware for god knows how long the girl liked his best friend. He's just going to beat Oikawa when he finds out his cousin got hurt.
He's staring at his best friend across the gym flirting with a girl which isn't his cousin. It was pretty obvious that Oikawa was cheating.
What happened to "beating the hell out of my best friend once I found out he's doing something that's going to hurt my cousin?" Iwaizumi thought to himself.
Don't get him wrong though, this already happened for how many times. Oikawa would flirt with different girls, Iwaizumi telling Hanako―preventing himself to hit his best friend, Hanako wouldn't mind, and the cycle repeats.
