JENNIE's POV
"So this mansion was all from your hard works. Wow!"
I heard her chuckle "This isn't a mansion hon, but yeah, Yoon-gi oppa did helped me a lot though, without him, I don't think I would be able to have this." She answered and handed me an orange juice.
We're here at her place. This past few days we've been inseparable. It's either she'll stay with me, or I'll stay with her.
"It is hon. When did you met Yoon-gi oppa by the way?" I asked because Lisa was never the type of person who'll share something about her even without asking.
I kept telling her my stories, something more about me this past few days and she's a good listener I was actually shock when she remember every details of it.
PS: I'm just not sure if the author also remember it hmm. So if Lisa gets wrong, blame the author.
"When I was 5" she shortly answered.
I sigh and came close to her clinging to her arm. "Hon mind telling me how? You were also five when----ummm" how can I say it, I don't want to say abandoned "you got separated with your step mom right?"
"Yeah" she simply answered again.
"Hon just tell me if you're not comfortable with the topic we can change it." I sighed for the second time.
"No no it's fine, I'm sorry hon. Yeah I met Yoon-gi oppa the day my step mom abandoned me. We went somewhere that day, that was the happiest day I have in my life, because I thought mom already accepted me that we even go for how many hours ride away from our home to celebrate my birthday. But I was wrong. It turns out to be 'one' of my unlucky birthday" she smiled sadly after saying those. "But fortunately something good happened, that's when I met Yoon-gi oppa"
"You mentioned one of your unlucky birthday? Ummm----ah why---?"
"Well first when I was born, I just imagine how my biological parents would have just throw me away after giving birth to me" she said sarcastically, she's now pouring some wine on her glass. "You want some?" She offered but I just shook my head no. She had a sip then continued "I have mentioned to you that my step dad died when I was three right?" I nodded "That was during my birthday, I was waiting for him to arrive, but he didn't came home, I just woke up in the morning being slapped by my step mom, she's crying that time. I cried too eventhough I don't understand what's happening. She keeps saying "this is all your fault" while pointing at me, she always points out to me that their life became a mess when my dad decided to adapt me. I was still young to understand everything back then" I can't see no reaction to her. She had another sip. "I just knew I lost the only person who loves me like his own. The bad luck continued like a curse whenever it's my birthday, so I became less fan of celebrating birthdays. I just usually sleep it the whole day"
That explains why she reacted that way when we had a surprise birthday for her.

"We'll make your next birthday unforgettably happy, I promise you that Lili"
"You know, the last person who promised me the same left me at exactly the date of my birthday without leaving any word"
"I'm not gonna do that and I hope you're not talking about Jungkook, aren't you?"
"Good guess" she laughed.
"Well fvck him---- but at some point, I'm glad he left, because if he didn't, do you think we'll be able to have each other now?" I said encircling both my arms to her neck facing her with a smile.
"I always think about being with you, of always having you hon" she leaned to kiss me but I backed away.
"Okay slow down with the wine and no kiss for now, I want you to tell me more of your stories" I said then snatched the glass she's holding.
She pouted.
"Come on honey, let's go to bed and let me hear you out until we both drifted to sleep okay" I said then peck a kiss on her lips.
This is the new normal for us whenever we have alone time with each other.
"Do you even use the third and fourth floor Hon? I'm still amaze really" I said while we are going upstairs. Lisa's room is on second floor. Lisa surely knows how to spend her money hmm.
"Not really, there's is no much thing in there actually. We'll go there sometimes."
"What makes you want to have a big house like this? Aside from it's everyone's dream" I asked.
"You" she bluntly said.
"Ha?" I asked confused. She let out a chuckle.
"Before I met Yoon-gi oppa, I met a girl whom I thought was around my age. I was crying because I couldn't find my companion, she approached me and talk to me for a while, she comforted me and she was so good because she was able to stop me crying. I felt so comfortable around her but then she heard her mom calling her so she excused herself but she promised me that she'll go back and will introduce me to her mom. She gave me something before she left"
"What is that something?"
"A paper"
"Wait your confusing me. You answered 'YOU' to my first question, and now what does the paper have to do something with it?"
"Hurry, let me show you something" she said holding my hand.
When we entered her room, she went on her drawer and showed me an envelope.
"Here open it" she said handing me the envelope with a smile.
Confused. I open it.
Mouth agape, eyes widen when I saw what's inside the envelope.
"How----a why---- gosh oohh wait" I don't know what to say. "Iya?!" I remember I have this when I was a child and I gave it to a child named Iya. "You are Iya?! The child I met in Thailand?" I exclaimed when realization hit me.
"Glad you remembered" she chuckled.
I stayed silent.
"You promised you'll go back but you didn't"
"I did go back, I even do a monologue to my mom and drag her to where I left you but you aren't there anymore" I said. "We tried finding you and asked people around and someone told us that your brother already fetched you, I was so sad when I heard that"
She didn't answer she's just smiling at me.
"You really kept this?" I asked amused.
"That's the reason why I wanted to have my own house, I'm not into big houses I just wanted the idea of having my own place to live in. So thank you for this" she said.
"Wait I still can't believe that your Iya?"
"Pranpiya was my whole name, but at my age, and add that I'm crying that time, I'm having a hard time to pronounce it so I ended up saying only the last three letters, Iya"
"You didn't tell me the reason why are you crying that time. I should have known it's something big for a child to handle"
"You are also a child that time hon" she laughed.
"Yeah right! Gosh Lisa I still can't believe it! All this time you knew all this and you're just telling me now?!"
She let out a soft laugh "Yoon-gi oppa brought me with him when he flew back here, his home, I'm really thankful that there are still people like Yoon-gi oppa who doesn't hesitate to help a child like me. He's still young back then performing with his group, so when he was old enough and worked at Kwon's Company, I decided to enter the industry too, I don't want to be a burden to him, he supported me throughout the whole process. When I started to learn how things work in the industry, that's when I got to know you as Jennie Kim, you're so beautiful Nini so I admit you have caught my attention, I stalked you on-line until I found your childhood photo, that's when I realized how familiar your features are. You didn't tell me your name when we first met, but I'm sure it was you, the child I met during one of my darkest days."
I stayed silent waiting for her to continue.
I look at her and she's contemplating.
"Hon?" I asked her again
"Remember the days we met accidentally?" She asked scratching her nape.
"Yeah, what's with those, just forget about it"
"All of it wasn't accidental" she stated that made me stop.
"What do you mean?"
She let out a soft laugh again.
"You know, I was sad when people keeps on making us compete into something, we became an enemy in the industry, and because of that you hated m-----"
"No hon" I cut her off. "I never hated you because of that" I stated "I was mad at you because you exposed me to public on days that I wasn't ready for it, and on days that I supposed to have a peaceful time for myself. You know I got scolded by my management, but you're already forgiven since it was all accidental"
"I told you it wasn't accidental" she laughed awkwardly. "I was following you hon, I don't know why, I just found myself doing it. But me being unlucky, despite being cautious people starts to recognize me too on days I wasn't ready, and I was so afraid that you'll find out that I was stalking you so.... desperate time calls for desperate measures. I was stupid I know and I'm sorry for it" She shyly laughed. "It happened a lot of times that's how unlucky I am."
"You're not. Things happened because it was meant to happen hon, and think about it, about me and Kai if you didn't exposed us I think still now we are secretly dating, really" I bluntly says.
"Well about that, I did it on purpose" she utter.
"What? Hon stop confusing me"
"When I found out that you've been going out with Kai. I did something stupid again, but I'm not sorry for interfering. I purposely expose you when Kai excused hisself for a while, to see if he's willing to take the risk and let people know that you're not alone, and he did, he saved you and got exposed too"
I sigh, I'm not mad hearing what she said. "I just hate it when people make things big just to have an issue to talk about" I stated.
"Well we chose this career path, so that is something we should bare with"
"But I'm still not in favor of what you did" I stated.
"I know hon" she said then lean on my shoulder.
"What about Jungkook, how did you two became together"
"Jungkook is Yoon-gi oppa's friend, you know that right?" I just nodded "So he became my friend as well, he loves bothering me, he always go with Yoon-gi oppa whenever he's bored just to annoy me, and that's it, time flies. I stopped stalking you and just enjoy what Jungkook and I have, because I lose hope, and think that you'll never look at me as a friend but a rival, an enemy, that-- the child-- I met is-- different from Jennie Kim." She was cautious while saying those but it still struck my heart for known reason. "But you proved me wrong. You are still Jennie Kim, the child I met with a soft heart. And I still can't believe that the person who gave me the inspiration to have a house is with me right now, inside it" she smiled
"Well I still can't believe that the paper I gave you will have a big impact and now showing me the great result"
"Big results comes from small things hon so thank you again"
"You're more than welcome honey."
"So can I have a kiss now?" She asked and now we are back at it again. Real quick Lili.
"Yah I already gave you a peck a while ago" I silently whine.
"I have been talking a lot and now I'm thirsty so"

Yeah, she's no longer the child, IYA, she is now LALISA MANOBAN who love to stole kisses from JENNIE KIM.
