Tobias
I woke up in the hospital with a burning pain in my abdomen. I was being wheeled in on a gurney and I was forced to only look up. Doctors where shouting medical terms that I didn't understand. The only voice I can make out is a girls.
"Let me go with him! Tobias! I'm fine just let me go with him!"
Tris.
That's all I hear before I pass out.
Tris
They won't let me see Tobias until he's out of surgery. Instead they dig the bullet out of my arm and stitched my wound. I'm too worried about Tobias to feel the pain in my arm.
Once they finished my stitches I went to find Christina. I found her with Caleb, they were talking and laughing and Christina was blushing like crazy. "Oh Tris!" Christina waved her hand. I made my way toward them and looked at Caleb awkwardly. I still haven't forgiven him, and I don't think I will. I don't have the strength or trust to.
"I hope I didn't interrupt anything." I grin. Christina blushes and looks down.
"No." she laughs.
She notices my stitches and her eyes go wide.
"Tris! What happened? Are you okay? Didn't Tobias go after you?"
I started playing with my hands.
"I, um, I'm okay," I look at her and give a small smile. "Just a few stitches, nothing new." I try to avoid Tobias as best I could but Christina was too curious.
"Tobias went after you,though. Said he wanted to make sure things went well, he was so worried after...." she trails off.
"Last year?" I glare.
She nods.
"So? Is he okay? Where is he?"
I look at Caleb, who hasn't said a word. I pull Christina away. My palms are sweating and I dry them off with my jeans.
"He got shot." I spit out. But before I could say anything else gun shots went off and an explosion went off by Caleb's head.
