"The year was 1772, Mandy Berstien was only 10 years old. That was a difficult year for her family and for everyone in Greensville. She was a small town wolf, brown hair always up out of her face in small pig-tails. Her brown tail wagging as she passed by everyone on the street. A bright, big smile plastered on her face as she waved and greeted everyone with a cheery, "Hello!" She was a happy little wolf, not a care in the world. I mean why wouldn't she be happy? She had a loving family, the most caring and friendly friends and everyone loved her. Everything was perfect. Until, the day she got home and there was blood splattered everywhere."
'RING RING'
"Oh, there's the bell, don't forget to read pages 110-115 tonight!" My teacher, Mrs. Burns told us.
While everyone groaned in annoyance, I gathered my things and walked out of class and towards the front of the school, where my brother, Andy; was waiting. I never understood what was so important about homework. I mean everyone knows all it does is help you understand the lesson better, but most of it is just a review. I'm a straight A student, I have already learned all of these assignments at my old school...
My old school..
I shuddered and shook my head leaving those memories out before something happens. I walk out of the door and smile at Andy and he smiles back.
"Hey squirt!"
"Hey! I'm not that short..." I pout, crossing my arms and he just laughs. He's been calling me squirt ever since he hit his growth spurt in 8th grade. I'm only a year younger than him, but he's never let it go. I'm 5'9" and he's 6'2" not much of a difference...okay maybe it is a bit, but still!
I'm a wolf, age 15. Green eyes and black fur with a beautiful black fur tail with green tips. I have green hair and green pads on my paws. I also have black furry ears with green inside. My brother has black fur with blue pads on his paws, blue ears, yellow hair and my favorite thing about him is his eyes. One is yellow, while the other is a greyish color. He's the only one in our family who has such unique eyes and I love it. He's a mysterious wolf, but a trouble maker at only 16 years old.
"Ready to go?" He looks at me a bit concerned, like he knows what'll happen already.
I sigh, "Ready as I'll ever be."
We climb in his car and start our way 'home' or as I call it 'my own personal hell.'
