"tell us why.." jenna smirked. she looks like she's really determined to know.
i sighed. ang chismosa ng mga kaibigan ko!
am i really going to say it? i mean, yes. they’re my friends. yeah right. kaibigan. for almost a decade. trustworthy..
"llysa!" jishei shakes my shoulder. "dali na, bago pa malaman ni van na lumabas tayo. baka umepal yun dito." natatawang aniya.
maging si rosie ay tahimik din sa tabi ko. she’s doing something on her phone..
"rosie posie did it again," pakantang aniya jenna. nag-angat ng tingin si rosie saka mabilis na itinago ang phone niya.
umayos siya ng upo. "where are we again?"
"we're in a café," jishei said and laughed once more. rosie rolled her eyes. jenna was grinning and i was just staring at rosie's annoyed face.
"okay." panimula ko. They all look so attentive. "it's because I don’t really want to run away from him.. it's just that--"
"let me guess," it was jenna.
napapikit ako. i'm sure she really knows something! i opened my eyes. "hmm?"
"feelings."
napamaang ako. "what?"
her cat-like eyes stared at me. "your feelings are back, right?"
i looked confused. i made myself look confused. my forehead creased.
"come on, lys!" she laughed. "you're trying your best to run away from him dahil bumabalik yung feelings mo."
i was really not talking! i am not going to talk about it. i shook my head.
"no way!" agad na pagtanggi ko.
rosie and jishei's lip parted. nanlaki ang mga mata nila saka nagkatinginan.
"omg!" rosie exclaimed. "i knew it! ang bilis naman!"
jishei stared at me. she tilted her head to the side. "wow, llysa.. sabi mo hindi na?" her chinky eyes became smaller than it's actual eye size.
"ano b-ba?" inis kong sabi sa kanila.
paano nila nalaman?!
"uh huh, llysa.. i am so right." she even flipped her hair back playfully.
i stayed quiet.
"your feelings are back.." she stated. "baka nga hindi nawala.." ngumisi siya. "everything is repeating.. starting off as friends.." she brought her straight face back. "and you know what's next..."
"what?" taka kong tanong sa kanya.
she shrugged. "it's either love or rejection and acceptance again.."
