Here is what Scarlet looks like, at least her face. She wears her hair up a lot in a ponytail, braid, or even a bun. Just as long as it's not in the way.

A couple of times Scarlet rammed her body into the titan's chest, or at least she assumed it was his chest with how high she was suspended from the ground, and the surroundings didn't seem like a pant pocket. The fabric wrapped around her body, but it was more like from not being used much. She could peer up and notice the light along with that sickening grin of his. She couldn't stand to look up because any time she did she was reminded she was with him and he could do anything to her.

So just to make the trip more enjoyable for her and oh so pleasant for him she would step as far as she could away from his body, make sure she had the proper footing so she wouldn't face plant into the cloth, then run right into his body. She did this several times nonstop to get the idea across she didn't want to be here and eventually he would have to cave in and let her free if he didn't want to repeatedly feel her minuscule body-slamming into his.

The problem with this is, she easily lost her energy. It seemed like every time she slammed into the cloth she would lose more and more momentum. Every hit against his body would make less and less impact. A few times she had to take a few seconds and take a deep breath. Who could blame her though? She just finished slaughtering a flock of flying goblins. Just fighting off twenty of those little nuances was energy-consuming enough.

Eventually, she got tired of running into him, not getting any response, so she took her sword out. Grabbing the hilt with both hands she ended up dug her feet into the cloth as much as she could. With all her leftover strength, she plunged the sword into his skin. With a smile, she released her sword which had gone into his chest with full force. She took a step back to admire her handy work, seeing the sword plunged all the way down so only a third of the blade was still revealed.

"Ha!" it was like it was her accomplishment of the day when she pulled it back out to reveal the dark red blood coated all along the blade, splattering some on herself and his clothing. "That had to get his attention," she smirked.

Standing there for a few minutes she realized...nothing happened. He didn't flinch. He didn't swat at her. He didn't even tell or pluck her out...he felt nothing. Knowing this big jerk, he most likely noticed her doing it but didn't show anything because he knew it would be a better reaction when she realized she was nothing compared to him. It was nothing for her to plunge her sword into his skin. Nothing.

Falling onto her butt in a cross-legged position, she could only sit and pout like a child till he released her. She could do nothing.

Farris reached into his pocket plucking the mouse of a hunter out of his pocket. She must have finally figured out who was in charge here because as he brought her out she was quite. From the few times he's run into her, he was able to figure out fast this was an unusual action from the human. She couldn't seem to keep her mouth shut even if it killed her, except now. He dragged her out of the cloth and the girl wouldn't even look at him. She had her head turned to the side and her arms crossed. It was a bit adorable honestly. Like looking at a pouting puppy or mouse. So harmless but acting as if her actions would tug at his heartstrings. Both knew this was useless. It would do nothing.

Peering around the surroundings Scarlet could tell she was no longer in the wood. She was most likely still someplace in the woods, but this was a house. A very unusual house. It looked like it was made of stone, but the surroundings were one of a log cabin. A single bed. A fire in the corner with a cauldron over it. By the way the fire was acting, surrounding the pitch-black pot, she could tell had something inside, a liquid of some kind from the sound of it. The furniture was all made of wood except the bed and couch. Those two looked like they were human pieces of furniture but enlarged by some type of magic, which is likely. A single wooden table was in the middle of the whole house with one chair. What was this? A cave with furnishings?

Scarlet was shaken out of her observations by the titan walking towards the table. He allowed her body to swing back and forth to most likely strike fear into her body. She wouldn't let it work, but the motion did cause sickness in her body. One that would cause a little upchuck to poor into her mouth and she had to force it back down so she didn't seem weak from puking on his table.

He dropped her on the surface harshly, causing her to stumble. Scarlet had to hold her chest to allow herself to catch her own breath and force her body to not react in pure sickness. Peeking up at the giant she placed a fist over her mouth like that was going to force her body to react differently.

"Couldn't be any gentler?" She remarked with a snarky attitude.

"Nope." he slammed down a wooden cage made for small animals or prey in the woods. As soon as he opened the door with one hand Farris reached over for her body. "Just accept it, you're frail."

Before his calloused hands even reached her waist Scarlet instinctually grabbed her sword and pointed it towards his hand. "If you think I'm just going to go in there quietly you must be crazy." Swatting at his fingers she watched as the giant retracted his hand at her protest. He obviously wasn't moving his hand in fear of her cutting him, it was more like 'I'll get her later'. This could be fun.

"Back off now...or I will-"

"Will what? Poke me with that toothpick again? You saw how well that worked earlier." he used his other hand and pushed her body towards the cage opening. "Now be a good girl and...just...go-"

Scarlet grabbed her sword stabbing directly down. It just snagged his coat jacket pinning it to the table. She couldn't help but lean against the hilt with one hand and look up at Farris with the biggest smile she could muster. "Who is trapped now?"

Farris simply picked up his arm causing the sword to fall on its side. Scarlet stumbled on top of the cloth until he lifted up his hand. She stumbled until she grabbed the material with both hands. She felt the giant lift his arm into the air so she was eye level with him. She didn't dare let go, because the only thing stopping her from plummeting to the ground was the tabletop that was also a good 50 feet from her now dangling feet. She was hanging on for dear life to the cuff of his coat. Luckily her weight was nothing to him, or the material would have started to rip.

"Are you done now?" he asked shaking his arm a bit to get the rat off of him.

Scarlet could feel her body swing back and forth. He wasn't doing it to the point that person does when they find an insect on them and they desperately wanted them off, it was more like an annoying animal was attaching themselves to him and he just wanted to shake them off.

With as careful movements she could do, she reached behind her back frantically with one hand. Once in a while, she had to desperately reach back up to make sure he didn't shake her body off. Reaching behind her, she just barely could feel the handle of the crossbow swinging from side to side. Gripping her hand at the air a few times, she managed to grab it. Whipping it in front of her, she thanked the gods because the arrow was already locked and loaded.

"We had an agreement giant!"

She felt the jerking of his body suddenly stop. He seemed to finally remember she had one thing that could harm him, didn't matter if it was a human weapon or not. She pointed the loaded arrow right towards his eye to emphasize she was not joking around. "Now. Put me down or I shoot."

"You wouldn't dare."

She didn't allow the arrow to shoot or even the sting containing the arrow to fly all the way, but she pulled the trigger while holding the bowstring. Farris could clearly hear the click of the trigger making him flinch a bit. He was no idiot. If she wasn't holding the bow back with her other fingers, that arrow would have flown right at his eye taking it out in seconds.

"We had an agreement."

Farris looked directly at her, growling under his breath. "Fine... but you still owe me for your life and much more to come since I have spared your many times today alone."

"I didn't ask for your help!" She looked down. Scarlet had to readjust her grasp on the fabric. She could feel her hand already slipping and she attempted to pull her body up a bit more with one hand while holding her crossbow in full view of the giant.

The two glared at each other for so long it seemed like their eyes glazed over. Scarlet had to take a few rapid blinks to rid the tears appearing in her eyes from holding them open so long. She didn't want to take any chance he would try anything and neither did he.

"How about this. I put my crossbow down. You promise to get rid of the cage and we can talk civilly."

As if in unison Ferris shook his head in agreement slowly and she lowered her crossbow. He slowly placed his arm closer to the table until her feet touched the surface.

"Alright." she brushed her clothes off trying to readjust them. As her hands stroked past her chest and hips she looked up noticing Farris giving her a hungry look, one a typical man gives when he likes what he sees. She looked down and noticed that from her jostling around her shirt was lower than usual showing off her breast. "Pervert." she pulled up her shirt and pulled down her bottoms to make sure everything down there was covered.

"Anyway. I will have to keep coming into these woods. We both know this. I already told people you were dead, but how long will that last."

"I can take care of that fact on my own," he growled crossing his arms.

"What I'm trying to get at is that if you help me I will help you. A giant can hunt giants better then a human can."

"I am not helping you to hunt my kind." he slammed his hands down on the table to scare her.

"Will you let me finish! I only hunt the one's who are a nuisance, and I guess not friends to you. If I hunt something else you can help me track."

"What do I get in return."

"I don't kill you." she barked back.

"It seems like I have the upper hand here. In the past who was the one who almost killed who?"

"And who's the one who ended the fighting by almost taking your life but didn't? You don't take this now and you will have me back in these woods hunting you and other creatures."

Ferris was thinking about the predicament. Honestly, she has been the closest to ever kill or harm him, and this fact made her interesting. No hunter has ever even got close or could say they meet Ferris twice. "Fine. Send me a message before coming over. You show up unannounced and I will treat you like every other hunter in my woods."

Scarlet did not look forward to this, but if this giant didn't eat her first, she would have a leg up in this occupation that she has needed all these years.

Farris and Scarlet make an official contract. Oh boy. Let's see how well this goes for them. Farris has free entertainment along with a scapegoat on life. Scarlet is to tell people he is slain. If hunter's walk into his forest she is to give him a heads up. Scarlet has a bloodhound at her disposal, problem is controlling it.

The next chapter will introduce their first hunt together. Oh, fun!!! Much to come in the future. We will find out more about Scarlet and Farris since both have been hiding things from the other.
