Renjun's parents and his cousin rushed into the hospital and Chenle ran up to them "Hey baby are you okay" Renjun's mum said holding his face and checking to see if he was okay
"I'm sorry I should be their not him" Chenle whispered
"No honey it isn't your fault" Renjun's mum said hugging Chenle
"Your parents will be here soon they had to pick up some stuff for you and your friends" Chenle nodded and brought them over to where everyone else was
"Do you know any news" Chenle shook his head
"The doctor said that he might not be out of surgery for a few hours why does he even need it he was hit by a car not shot" Chenle said getting angry
*5 hours later*
"Are you the ones here for Huang Renjun" a women said walking up to everyone
"Yes I'm his mother how is he"
"When he was in the ambulance the paramedics noticed an injury to his abdomen and it turned out a piece of glass had logged itself and nearly penetrated his kidney"
"So he'll be okay then" His father asked
"Well when he landed a few ribs broke and one punctured his lung he also had damage to his head so we don't know how badly his brain was damaged right now he is in a critical but stable condition" The doctor said
"When will we get to talk to him" Jaemin asked
"You can visit him in the morning but we had to put him into a coma to help his recovery and so we know his brain isn't swelling so maybe a week or so and we will try to bring him out"
"You should probably all go home it's late and you can't see him till the morning I'll call with any updates" Renjun's parents nodded
"Thank you kids for staying here" Renjun's father said
*Next Morning*
"Hey guys his parents just left to pick up his cousins the doctor said we should talk to him" Chenle said
"I'll go first since I'm the oldest" Mark said
"Why do you get to go first we should go from the youngest" Jisung argued
"Let's go oldest" Jeno said and pushed Mark to the door
"Haha suck it" mark said and walked inside
"Sup Renjun see your still asleep kinda lame if I do say so myself" Mark said sitting down next to him
"Yeah I know I was meant to be in Canada but I couldn't be there while you where kicking it in the hospital"
"Oh did you hear Jeno and Jaemin finally confessed"
"They also like you but don't tell them I told you that" Mark whispered
"Remember when we first met I swear you could see Jeno getting so jealous that you and Jaemin where talking now I know why" Mark teased
"Anyway you need to get better I know you're strong and you can do it" Mark smiled
"I had a baguette before and that shit was tasty"
"Dammit you are meant to laugh you immobile bastard" Mark chuckled
"Okay I'm lowkey glad you in coma so that you heard nothing" Mark smiled
"I think I should go everyone else wants to talk to you and I lowkey got nothing else to say and Jeno is next so see you later Renjunnie" Mark said and waved
"Jeno you can go and talk I'm gonna go get something to drink" Jeno nodded
"Hey Renjun you look great as always" Jeno sighed
"Okay maybe you look a little worse for wear but you'll always look beautiful to me" Jeno smiled and grabbed Renjun's hand
"I wish I could of told you how I felt before your accident"
"But I promise when you wake up we'll tell you"
"And hopefully have a happy ending" Jeno sighed and layed his head down
"Anyway Donghyuck's probably wanting to talk to you so I'll stay for awhile just to piss him off" Jeno chuckled and lifted his head up
"Did I ever tell you how I met Jaemin"
"Okay great story we had just started high school and I first met Mark and we were friends then from across the room I saw Jaemin and our eyes met it was like we were the only two people there"
"Okay I'm kidding that didn't happen I did meet Mark first but I also met his girlfriend she was nice but she introduced me to Jaemin then the rest is history"
"Oh but when Donghyuck came to the school like three month later that's when shit really hit the fan" Jeno snickered
"Yeah Jaemin kept complaining to me about how everyone was coming to him with their issues"
"So Mark said that he was questioning his sexuality and in the end broke up with the ex her name was Daeun oh and she told him that she was scared mark would leave her for Donghyuck which he did and Donghyuck told him he was in love with Mark"
Jeno smiled and kissed Renjun's hand "you'll always be beautiful" Jeno whispered. He got up and walked out side and told Donghyuck to go and talk to him
"Sup you little shit" Donghyuck said sitting in the chair
"Anyway remember when you let me stay with you that night"
"Of course you do that was like two nights ago" Donghyuck chuckled
"Anyway you were their for me when I thought I had no one" Donghyuck smiled sadly
"You know how my dad emotionally abused me for years and shit and when I moved out I tried to never see him it always made me feel alone and that I had nobody no family"
"But then I met Mark and he was the first person who I could call family and when I thought I could lose him you were their for me"
"Anyways what I'm trying to say is that your like family to me now and I can't lose you" Donghyuck wiped a tear from his face
"Shit Mark said no more crying and he's right cause only losers cry and we aren't losing you" Donghyuck sighed and kissed Renjun's cheek
"Shit I get very talkative when I'm emotional so shut up and deal with it" Donghyuck laughed realising he just told someone who couldn't talk to shut up
"So you got two hot guys pinning after you, you sly bastard" Donghyuck chuckled
"I would so fuck if I wasn't deeply in love with Mark"
"Anyway Jaemin is very anxious to talk to you so I wont deny him that so sleep well"
Donghyuck stood up and left the room Jaemin ran inside and ran to the chair
"You remember when we first met, you ran into me and I dropped my coffee I flirted with you and you rejected me please don't do that when Jeno and I confess" Jaemin chuckled
"So you got hit by a car don't expect me to feel sorry for you" Jaemin said bitterly
"You're a selfish bastard you know that, how dare you push Chenle out of the way but then stay there and let that car hit you it's like you wanted to die" Jaemin half yelled
"Huh your just disregarding your life cause that's not cool" Jaemin stood up and started pacing
"You mean so much to so many people ad you can't just die"
"God you insufferable" Jaemin yelled
"Do you know the kind of shit I went through last night huh of course not cause your lying here cause you didn't care about your life" Jaemin cried
"Don't leave me baby I can't lose you I just got you" Jaemin said sitting on the floor next to him holing his hand and crying
"I can't lose you I just can't" Jaemin whispered
"God why is it that people never say what they want to say until something like this happens" Jaemin smiled sadly
Jaemin sat there for a few minutes before he stood up and wiped the tears "Well Chenle might have some shit to day to you and I can't blame him so till next time my love" Jaemin said walking out calmly like he hadn't just lost it minutes ago
"Renjun it is good to see you aren't dead" Chenle said
"So what should we talk about" Chenle thought for a minute
"Oh remember when you used to space out and I'd ask you what was wrong and you just blurted out some random deep quote or some shit like that"
*Flashback*
"When we are kids, we encourage the heroes, But when we get older, we understand the villains" Renjun said and Chenle looked at him weirdly
"Renjun you realise you're only fourteen you are a child and you never like heroes in the first place" Chenle said
"Really you think I'm that dumb to not know my own age that's something you would do" Chenle rolled his eyes
"You know what I'm hanging up on you" Renjun said hanging up on him and Chenle laughed he did that every time but he always ended up calling back a few minutes later because he was bored
*End Flashback*
"Yeah you were always the smartest in any room even if you weren't in it" Chenle chuckled
"I remember this one phrase you said 'We should live our lives to the fullest, you never know, we may be dead by tomorrow' I hope you had a great day so if you do die you had fun right before" Chenle said tears spilling from his eyes
"You used to kiss my forehead and it meant so much to me"
"Forehead kisses are wildly underrated, there's just something comforting about them, then again it might just be you" Chenle whispered and kissed Renjun's forehead
"I need to go I can't do this" Chenle said walking out and wiping the tears from his face
"Jisung go talk to him I can't" Jisung nodded and walked inside the room
"Hi Renjun I hope I'm not annoying you or anything" Jisung said quietly
"You know you guys are like my first friends in years I was never really good at making friends" Jisung said awkwardly
"But I guess when I met Chenle that kinda all changed" Jisung smiled
"I guess hanging out with you guys might of made me a better person"
"I need your help thought cause I really like Lele but I don't want to rush it and potentially ruin everything"
"Cause I really like him like a lot like maybe even love him" Jisung stopped, did he really love Chenle
"Holy shit I am in love with him" Jisung stood wide eye for a second and then fell into the chair
"I need to tell him and I need to ask him to be my boyfriend" Jisung whispered
"Thank you Renjun I'm gonna ask him to be my boyfriend shit I need to write a speech" Jisung said standing up quickly
"God send my guy seriously amazing work I'll see you later" Jisung said running out
"Chenle roof twenty minutes I need to get stuff" Jisung said running away leaving a very confused Chenle behind
"Okay then" Chenle said and Donghyuck snickered
