Everyone were leaving much to Nandini displease and manik's pleasure although he also wanted them to stay but he wanted to talk to Nandini about some things

Manik : barfii they need to go vaise bhi it's late and for god sake they also have a house na and they need to go there .

Everyone hugged Nandini totally sequessing her and then went
Manik and Nandini also went to their room to sleep
They were cuddling on the bed when manik spoke
Manik : barfii today when your brother's came they were a bit calm not the usual rude

Everyone came together to see it and finalised that they will put it in Nandini lab tomorrow
Here in the night Nandini phone rang
Nandini picked it up
Caller : mam there is a storm in the bay of Bengal and because of that we will not be able to launch . You are urgently needed
Ok so I forgot to mention Nandini is a space scientist at ISRO and a head of spacecraft autonomy and is working day and night for this project of MOM ( Mars Orbital Mission)
Nandini immediately panicked because they were scheduled to launch after three days and they can't launch till the weather clears . She immediately cuts the call and starts waking up manik
Nandini : manik wake up
Manik woke up with a startle
Nandini : manik there is a storm in bay of Bengal and it will reach arunachal pradesh and the weather will be stormy and completely unfit for launch . Shit manik shittttttt
Manik knew how important the mission was to Nandini as she was working day and night for it to give it for her country and her rakesh sir and tara mam and how fragile she becomes when anything happens to the mission MOM ( Mars Orbital Mission)
Manik : barfii kuch nhi hoga the weather will clear out
Nandini : we have only 9 buffer days if it doesn't work we will not get it launch and we will have to wait for three years . I need to go . I need to handel my team .they will be in a chaos
Manik : acha I will take my baby ok but you don't worry remember what your tara mam said never loose hope mera barfii team head she needs to look confidant even when she is not go and change get ready . I will get the car and remember nothing will go wrong
Nandini just nodded as she was stressed like hell as it was a combined effort of 1200 scientist which could go straight to drain if anything happens to mission but still she was so grateful to have a partner who understands her life and profession so well and never redicule it
Nandini got dressed took out her laptop and ran into the car
Nandini : please be fast
Nandini said still looking in the laptop and simultaneously talking to other project heads about the possibilities
Storm at bay of Bengal
Manik looked at her and silently buckled her seat belt which she forgot and carresed her hair in a loving manner just to calm her down and she blinked her eyes and gestured him to move
Manik drove to the ISRO office where Nandini quickly showed her id and then moved forward

Manik followed her silently covering his face so that no one recognises him
Nandini was immediately surrounded by her juniors out of them many were in tears .
Nandini (authortively ) : Guyss behave proffesionaly focus on finding a bloody solution not on crying and for god sake why are you all here ??
Meera : ( Nandini subordinate who called Nandini ) Mam I informed them
Nandini : did I gave you the permission to call of them and create a chaos here are you seeing any other teams members here ....no just my team needs to behave like hooligans . Meera we are scientist and you work under me you need to be proffesional
I want each one of them out and guyss we all need to keep our calms . Go home and report at your respective reporting time and Meera after dispersing them you too leave no assistants are needed at this time .
Everyone left including Meera seeing Nandini anger . Although she was a sweet boss but she really turned into a strict person when needed
Manik was surprised seeing the little baby growing into a brutal boss and how she was so worried and now here giving lectures about how to behave calmly
Nandini reached to her fellow team leaders
Nandini : Kritika ( Navigation expert ) what is the status of bay of Bengal
Kritika : getting worse with time
Nandini : Tara mam ( project head and a teacher figure to Nandini ) where is rakesh sir ( cheif of the project and teacher to nandini )
Tara : he is in the room singing songs like usual
Nandini : ohh god that means he is really stressed . Eka ( Propulsion control manager ) can we have any other buffer days
Eka : we can't afford more than 9 days
Tara : ohh god we are finished
Nandini : don't lose your hope mam you are my hope
Tara wiped her tears
Tara : no I am not loosing hope but I think we all should also go home let's take navigation report from Kritika and Kritika you remain here and monitor this because there is no use to just sit here
Kritika : yes mam I will share each and every detail . We will be connected with phones you all leave I am here and don't worry I will take care of Rakesh sir
Everyone nodded and moved outside
Tara : eka , nandini , varsha( satellite engineer) , parmeshwar ( payload expert ), Ananth ji ( structural engineer ) you all just manage your team's and make sure there is no chaos like today . This can't be leaked in media
Nandini : I am sorry mam I was late and I was also on a off today and frankly I am being a complete irresponsible person since a week sorry for this behaviour. I will now handel my responsibilities with utmost care
Tara : that was not a taunt to you darling
Nandini : ohh come on mam yoh have all the rights to taunt me as you are the one who taught me all this
Tara : guyss we need to make this there is a whole country waiting for us . Take care. .byeee
Parmeshwar : Nandini I will message you with all the details of buffer days and please have a look on it as we had a meeting about it in the morning but since it was not that important we didn't felt need to call you
Varsha : we didn't want to spoil your holiday
Eka : as you only take holiday when seriously needed
Nandini : it is okay guyss . Parmeshwar ji please send me the pointers of the meeting. Guyss I think I will be with Kritika today she is fragile
Ananth : no no I am here with her beta your aunty is out of the town I will get her comapny
Nandini nodded and moved outside to see manik waiting in the car as he moved outside not to disturb or get information which is highly confidential not that Nandini wouldn't tell him but he just didnt want to interfere in her workspace and here it was about a mission of country respect

How was the update ??
I know a weird turn to the story but I felt that we all neglect Nandini proffesion in most of the fanfictions and also I wanted to showcase the struggle faced by our brave scientist in the mission to Mars
Being a ISRO aspirant I really wanted my readers to know about my passion regarding space and ISRO so I will be giving you all that in this story with ofcourse the main plotline of estranged brothers and star crossed lovers
But if you all want I will not show the MOM mission but just to make it clear these all incidents which I will be mentioning has happened in real life as I study to become a scientist at ISRO , I know . Do comment if you don't know about any scientific term which I mentioned
