i told diver everything that happened. he was silent, but i know he listened to every word that escaped my mouth.
i realized how much i never opened up to my childhood friend, but... i can see why.
what was unnerving, diver was acting off. all he was doing is staring at me. i call him out for it, since it really was creeping me out.
diver just shook his head and laid on army's bed with me.
"what are you gonna do now that's hes in his coma or whatever?"
"im gonna stay here."
"why stay? what about your own home"
"i promised i'd stay"
"i see, you have a lot of things on your hands."
this was the first time i actually saw diver not be a total bitch all the time. he looked over at me with genuine eyes.
diver then said we should go do something fun to take my mind off things, i was pretty reluctant but i went with him anyway.
i made sure everything was locked up before we left army's house.
diver didn't tell me where we were gonna go, so it left me clueless until we went to mahi-mahi resort.
a wave of nostalgia hit me then, i used to live here practically.
