Diana's POV
I went home as soon as I finished work, i quickly went inside to start getting ready, I pampered myself by doing mani and pedicure, my hair was in her natural state, tight curls, I put my hair in a pineapple style leaving the curls out a bit,

I quickly sprayed some perfume on me and went downstairs and sat on the couch in the living room waiting for Elijah, I was just scrolling through my social medias when I recieved a phone call from Sharon,
Me: hey girl
Sharon: hey what's up girl?
Me: I'm good a bit nervous about the whole dating thing but I want to give it a try
Sharon: girl dont worry I assure you Elijah is a great guy I see you vibing it and I love it let him love you you need it as well as himself
Me:*sigh* ok thanks for the advice
Sharon: don't worry boo, how about we go out tomorrow for some shopping?
Me: hell yeah I'm down for it
Sharon:ok boo see you soon love you
Me: ok bye love you too
I heard Elijah walk in and stop at the front door with a bouquet of red phonies in his hand, I squealed going over to him and grabbing my favorite flowers from him, he chuckled,
" well good evening to you too!" He said , I laughed giving him a kiss,
" sorry baby and thanks for the flowers I love them!"
"Don't worry babe and you look spectacular, so beautiful" he said holding my hands intertwining our finger as we walked out of the house,
" thank you you dont look bad yourself" I said smiling up to him.
We ended up at a very sophisticated italian restaurant, we walked in and I was in awe from the beauty of it,
" this place is so beautiful " I said looking around,
" I had to pick a place for a very special someone" I giggles shaking my head,
" awww that's so sweet of you" I said he kissed me on the cheek. The waiter came up to us and leaded us to our reserved table for two, as we sat down we looked at our menu ready to order,
Minutes later the waiter came back and took our orders,
" thank you Elijah for doing this for me" I said,
" i want to give you the best, that's all" he said holding my hands, and I smiled at him.
After our wonderful date, we decided to go for a walk in the city as the sun was setting, everything was so perfect.
After a whole we decided to go back home,cuddled and watched some movies.
We walked to our car and went home enjoying the silent drive home each of us in our own thought. We arrived home and I opened the front door,
I hurriedly went to my room to go change in something more comfy while Elijah followed behind me as he as well changed, taking out him pajamas from his douchbag, he went to the bathroom mean while I changed in my bedroom. He came out of the bathroom as I waited for him on my bed, I got up and went to the bathroom to do my night routine.
We were cuddling in my bed watching a movie when I decided to facetime sharon to check on my baby, I miss her even tho I saw her today,
Me: hey boo
Sharon: hey girl what's up? How was your date?
Me: I'm good and the date was wonderful, Elijah is actually here with me,
I said smiling big as Elijah took the phone from me showing his face on the screen for Sharon to see him,
Elijah:hey sharon where is my best friend?
He asked laughing, she laughed as well before answering,
Sharon: his Eli he's right...
Jacob:hey big ass head
He shouted for us to hear, we heard sharon hit him in the back of the head hissing at him to keep quiet that the children are sleeping, me and Elijah couldn't contain our laugh as we watched what was going on,
Sharon:anyway girl I know you called because you miss your baby girl,don't worry she and my boy are knocked out because they were exhausted from they activity today, but their good as ever, when are you going to pick her tomorrow?
She asked,
Me: in the morning before I go to work
Sharon:ok girl see you tomorrow then goodnight both of you.
Me and Elijah said our good bye.
We enjoyed the rest of the night telling stories of when we were kids and embarrassing moments we had, it was a moment I loved, beign so open and not ashamed of beign just you, not fearing of beign judge or anything, it was peaceful and that's how we fell asleep in each other hands, I missed this and I know he is the right one for me, he always proved me wrong from all my negative thoughts about dating again and letting someone be a part of my life again.
I am a grown woman now, I can see what is real love, we haven't said such things to each other but I know that that day will come.
