Jennie's POV

"Gosh what time is it?" Rosie asked, as I helped her climb inside my car.

"It's half past 4 why?" I closed her car door before running towards the driver's seat.

"What do you mean why? Look at the sky, it's like it's past sunset already." Rosie pointed towards the sky and all I see were angry dark clouds.

"Oh yeah, I watched the news last night. They said that it'll rain hard tonight until tomorrow noon." I replied, starting the engine.

I drove faster than usual but not enough to get me a ticket, as I looked at they dark clouds above. It'll be a pain in the ass if Rosie and I were caught on the road with heavy rains, not to mention the wet and slippery road ahead.

After half an hour on driving and Rosie practically yelling at me every once in a while for driving fast, thank God we arrived home.... safely.

"God, I thought I'm gonna die." Rosie exaggeratedly sighed, I rolled my eyes at her as I slipped down the car.

"Wow, your house looks.... cozy." Rosie said.

"Yeah, you wouldn't really think that the Kim's live in an average looking home now would ya?" I chuckled at her.

"There are three cars in the garage." Rosie noticed.

"Yeah my parent's and I's." I simply stated.

"No I meant, are your parents home?" Rosie nervously clutched her duffel bag.

"Oh.. No they are not, they have a business thing to attend to in Hawaii." I informed her, inserting the key to our front door.

"Though I know that it was just an excuse to you know, have fun... All by themselves." I rolled my eyes at that thought of my parents getting cozy and feeling each other up.

"Anyways, come on in." I gestured for her to come inside after opening the door wider.

"The living room, the kitchen and dining room is over there. Powder room and bathroom to your left, then stairs to the second floor, we also have a stairs up by the dining room and that one, to the basement." I explained as Rosie scanned the whole house.

"The glass sliding door in the dining room goes to the mini pool, if you feel like having a night swimming we could do that."

Rosé's POV

Jennie led me inside their house and yes, I actually wasn't expecting the Kim's to have an average looking home, I mean their house is less than half the size of ours but the Kim's are far more wealthier that us so it intrigued me how they chose to lived humbly.

"I know you got tons of  questions, based on the way your forehead crease. I'll answer that later but I need to go check on something first, meanwhile you just feel at home and look around." Jennie smiled before pecking my lips and disappearing from my view.

I looked around their living room, there's a set of couch, a massive TV screen and a complete set of I don't know whats. Maybe this family is techy and loves watching movies and blasting music from the way the two big speakers were placed beside the humongous TV.

I can also see two exquisite paintings hanging by the wall and by the looks of it, it must have cost hundreds of thousands. Of course I could tell, my mom is crazy about paintings too.

"Straight up from an auction." I mumbled as I looked at the details very carefully.

The Kim's house looks modern, on the contrary of our house that was dressed with antiques. The black and white motif of the house and the furnitures also looked neat and by the placement of their things, I could tell that they were meticulously arranged.

But despite the modern vibe of the house that almost imitate that of a grand modern hotel, there were also hints of family vibe here and there and by the looks of their huge family portrait hanging by the stair wall, I could feel that Jennie has a happy home.

"That one was taken earlier this year." I jumped a little as I hear Jennie mumble, creeping behind me and enveloping my waist with a towel.

"We always take a family picture after New Year and hang them there for the rest of the year." Jennie smiled, her chin on top of my shoulder as she peck my cheek.

"You've got a stain on your pants, the bathroom in my room is ready. Let's get you cleaned up." Jennie mumbled, before pulling me closer to her and kissing my cheek once again.

"Wait you mean I-"

"Yes Rosie, that time of the month again." Jennie smiled and I couldn't help but hide my face in the palm of my hands, earning a low chuckle from Jennie. God, this is so embarrassing.

"I..."

"Oh my God, you shouldn't have seen that. This is so embarrassing." I shook my head furiously as I took the towel that Jennie was holding against my waist.

"Thank you" I mumbled shyly, not meeting her eyes.

Jennie cupped my face, making me look at her eyes. She smiled at me sincerely and pecked my lips.

"Nothing to be ashamed of princess, it's natural." She whispered as she tiptoed and kissed my forehead while I just stood there dumbfounded.

"Come on" She cheekily smiled as she extended her hand. I looked at her briefly, my mind wondering elsewhere. I really got so lucky in love right?

"What?" Jennie smiled, tilting her head to the side. She looks so cute and I continued to stare at her.

"If you keep this up then I'm going to melt Rosie." Jennie chuckled.

"I..." I stuttered as I feel my heart pounding on my chest.

"Thank you" Was all that I was able to say.

"Oh Rosie, of course." She smiled and moved her hand a little, gesturing for me to take it.

I took her hand on mine and we started climbing up the stairs, towards her room. Her room wasn't big, but it wasn't small either. She has a walk in closet, slightly smaller than mine, a hair dresser, a queen size bed, a study table and a rack full of books.

She gestured for me to enter her bathroom and I did so, but what caught me off guard was the tub filled with hot water and oils at the side, there were scented candles lit too.

"Take a long nice bath and when you're done, there's a set of PJ's here." Jennie gestured to the set of pajamas neatly folded on top of her bed.

"I just need to quickly drive to the store because I ran out of pads." Jennie scratched the back of her head.

"Or do you use tampons?" Jennie asked.

"No, just pads." I smiled gratefully.

Jennie was about to leave the room but I was quick to call her name, making Jennie turn to face me.

"Thank you" I said, but Jennie just nodded her head and smiled.

---

This feels nice, the soothing hot water and the smell of scented candles really relaxed my nerves. I closed my eyes and gently leaned back but was interrupted by my phone ringing, I sat straight and reached for my phone, looking to see who it was and immediately picked it up.

"Hi Jen, everything alright?" I asked with concern laced in my voice.

"Yeah, yeah everything is so cool. I was just wondering what kind of pads you prefer?" Jennie confusedly asked and I could picture her standing by the sanitary napkin aisle, looking at the different brands and not knowing what to pick. I laughed internally at the thought, that was so cute.

"Just lavender, the longest one." I replied.

"With wings?" She asked with uncertainty.

"Yes Jen, with wings." I laughed softly.

"Alright, alright. Are there any more that you want?"

"I want you, so move your ass because I wanna cuddle with you after I finish taking a bath." I replied.

"On it" Jennie replied back before ending the call.

---

I left the bathroom after thirty minutes, I wore the pajamas and combed my hair. The rain outside started to pour heavily and I'm getting worried for Jennie. I tried calling her but it led me straight to her voicemail.

I went downstairs, pacing back and forth but I received a text from Jennie saying that she was okay and she was just stuck in traffic. I exhaled all my worries and proceeded to go to the kitchen. It's dark outside and Jennie is still stuck in traffic so I decided to rummage their ref and pantry and boy was there a lot of supplies in there.

I got out a few items and started cooking, I'm not as good as Jennie in terms of cooking but I can cook a decent meal. I was cooking for more than thirty minutes when I heard the front door open and I saw  Jennie, holding a lot of things.

"Rosieeee" Jennie smiled upon seeing me wearing an apron, cooking in their kitchen.

"Let me help you." I offered.

"No, no. I got this." Jennie said, hurriedly placing the things on top of the kitchen counter.

Jennie stood there, looking at me from head to toe while smiling like an idiot.

"What?" I asked, raising my brow.

Jennie shook her head, "Nothing" She sheepishly mumbled.

"The food will be up in a while." I informed, my back against her as I continue stirring.

Jennie snaked her arms around my waist without me knowing, pulling me closer to her for a back hug, placing her chin on my shoulder.

"That smells so good, I can't wait to taste that." Jennie whispered, sniffing my shoulder.

"You smell nice." Jennie smiled.

"Yeah, I smell like you." I told her.

"I love you smelling like me." I almost dropped the ladle when I heard her say that, keep your calm Roseanne, she said I love you smelling like me not I love you. I slightly coughed to composed my self.

"Alright you can let go of me now, it's done."

"Noooooo" Jennie replied with her baby voice, hugging me tighter.

"Baby come on now let's eat." I chuckled and she no longer stood in protest.

I set the table with the help of Jennie, taking our seats beside each other even if table can fit up to eight. It's always been like that with Jennie, wherever it maybe. She and I, sitting beside each other.

"This soup taste sooo good!" Jennie gushed, helping herself to the crab and corn soup that I made.

"Well you have tons of food so I helped myself out." I chuckled.

"Hell yeah, cooking everything you want." Jennie enthusiastically replied.

We ate in silence and Jennie washed the dishes after, she insisted on it since I was the one who cooked. I looked around as I cleaned the table and saw the things she bought earlier.

"What are the things you bought, there's a lot in here." I asked.

Jennie walked towards me, getting the bag and scattering the things on top of the table.

"What the fuck?" I couldn't help but cuss.

"Hey!" Jennie pouted, her cheeks blushing a little.

"Baby, you bought me ten packs of pads. I AM SHOCKED." I replied.

"Pft" Jennie made that sound.

"Seriously Jen, for a girl, you're clueless." I laughed.

"Well I don't know if you're a bleeder or not. Better be prepared." Jennie rolled her eyes.

"Yeah baby thank you." I kissed the top of her head.

"I also bought you meds and pain relievers. Just in case you get cramps." Jennie babbled.

"Juices and chips, lots of chips and uhm chocolates. I bought tons of it since I already ate all our chocolate supplies."

"Alright, alright. That's enough." I chuckled and helped Jennie arranged all the grocery items.

"So? What do you wanna do?" Jennie asked.

"Let's watch a movie?" I looked at her with hopeful eyes.

"Of course, pick the movie and I'll grab us some snacks."

"Again? Food again? We just ate." I whined.

"Yes Rosie, food again. Now move your whiny ass."

---

It took me a solid ten minutes to figure out how their shitty heck of a TV works, the fuck with all these buttons?? but since I'm quite smart thank you very much, I figured it out in no time.

"Is it ready?" I saw Jennie with a tray in hand. There were mojos and fries with different dips and popcorn and sodas making my mouth water, I reached for a piece of mojos and immediately ate it.

"I know someone whining about us eating again but here she is, eating her heart out without the movie even starting yet."

"Oh shut it" I rolled my eyes, leaning against the couch, patting the seat next to me. Jennie sat next to me, her head on the crook of my neck and my arms around her shoulder.

"Oh hell no" Jennie complained upon seeing the introduction of the movie.

"Wait you know this movie?" I asked her in surprise.

"Yeah baby, I'm a massive Disney film enthusiast too." Jennie replied.

"You look cool, always thought you like the gory shit and all."

"Yeah it's because they don't know me behind this facade Rosie." Jennie explained, gesturing her hands in front of her face.

"It's only you and my group of friends who know that i'm–"

"A softie?" I cut her off.

"Yeah whatever." Jennie scoffed.

"But seriously babe I've seen descendants three a couple of times this month, I could no longer bear seeing it again." My girlfriend complained.

"Let's watch Moana instead." She whined.

"What are you, 4?" I chuckled and she look up to glare at me.

"Hey that's one of my favorites." She pouted.

"Reminds me of my grandma.." I heard Jennie mumble under her breathe and I could tell that the topic regarding her grandma was a sensitive one, just like my dads.

"You were close to her?" I unknowingly asked out loud.

"Who?" Jennie faced me.

"Uhh your grandma."

"Yes and no" Jennie timidly replied.

"I'd like to think we were but then I don't really remember, it was a long time ago." Jennie smiled.

"You wanna tell me more about you and grandma?" I asked further and Jennie smiled at me happily when I called her grandmother, grandma.

"Well I'm the youngest in the family, I was always at her house with my cousins and we hang out there. My parent's always dropped me off of her house whenever they needed to go somewhere together, I was little that time, maybe 4-6."

"My cousins would often come during the weekends but on weekdays it's just the two of us. We eat together, we take a nap together, we shower together. I used to massage her legs whenever it aches and then she would give me some treats. I remember annoying the hell out of her every chance that I get."

"My memory doesn't really serve me well, but my heart does remember something and it aches whenever I think of her."

"Then eventually she died of old age, I refuse to believe it at first, thinking that she was just sleeping. I went beside her and placed my index finger in front of her nose to feel if she was still breathing but she was not." Jennie sadly smiled upon remembering her past.

"At such a young age I was able to realize that if I love somebody I have to let them know, I have to show them, because I never want to repeat what had happen with my grandma." Jennie exhaled shakily, glancing at me for awhile.

"I wished I was nicer to her, I wished I had some time to show her that I love her so much and that she's my favorite person in the world."

"So when you say that you missed your dad, I know what you feel. I may not vividly recall the past, but my heart does." She smiled and leaned in to kiss my lips.

"Now on to the movie." Jennie said and focused her attention back to the huge screen.

I looked at Jennie while her attention was busily focused on the movie, I smiled while adoring her silently from her side. Jennie Kim has got to be the most genuine person that I've ever met and I'm lucky to be with her. I sighed and pulled her back to lean on my chest, side hugging her.

"I love that part!" I blurted out when I saw Prince Ben kneeling down the ground and singing the reprise version of did I mention, after he finished singing, he whipped out a ring and asked Mal to marry him.

"The proposal was so romantic." I gushed, earning a soft chuckle from the girl beside me.

"Never knew you were the kind of girl who loves grand gestures and public surprises." Jennie commented.

"Well it never hurts to experience that once in a while." I absentmindedly replied, still focusing on the movie in front of me.

"Riiiiiight" Jennie smiled, standing up and pulling me with her.

"Where are we going??" I asked her, laughing a little.

"Well we, are going to sing the songs." Jennie wiggle her brows.

"Let's see how much you know the songs in Descendants." Jennie challenged.

"Oh yeah? Try me." I fought back.

And just like that, Jennie and I spent the remaining time of the movie singing along and dancing, I would occasionally step on her foot and she would just laugh it off saying that I need to prepare for the ball because obviously, I sucked at slow dancing. Well yeah, that is true.

"That was so fun." I smiled as I slumped back down the couch. Jennie turned off the TV and sat beside me, smiling.

"Yeah, that was fun."

"Now I have someone I can be silly with, with no judgements." Jennie chuckled, reaching for my hands and intertwining it with hers.

"Yeah, it's not everyday you find someone with the same likes as you." I replied.

"So you better keep me close, Miss Park." Jennie leaned in closer to me, our faces inches away from each other.

"Oh trust me, I would." I said before crashing my lips against hers.

I guess I would be having a great night too.
