" Hoy Crystal ba't ka sasali ng basketball?! Tangek sabi ko sayo ikaw yung magmomodel sa fashion booth natin " galit na singhal ng president namin sa room at tsaka binatukan ako
" Aray naman boss . Eh sa ayaw ko sa mga ganyan eh. Kumakati yung mukha ko sa mga makeup kemeru na iyan " reklamo ko sa kanya
" Ewan ko sayo. Napaka-kulit mo talaga " sabi niya at napakamot ng ulo
" Sige na boss. Sali mo nako sa basketball girls pleeaaaseee " pilit ko sa kanya
" Talaga bang kaya mo iyon? Mukhang isang ubo ka nalang eh " nag-aanlinlangan niya
" Eto naman . Wala ka bang tiwala sakin? " naka-pout ko sabi
" Oh sige na nga . Siguraduhin mo lang Crystal ha . Pag ikaw mapahamak ewan ko sayo " pagsuko niya at bumalik na sa upuan dahil andiyan na ang prof
" Yes boss " todong ngiti kong sagot sa kanya at naka-salute pa
Ako si Sofia Crystal Mahome, half american and among my friends I'm the boyish one. I'm also the sporty type and the most talkative member of the group which is why I'm the one who is causing most of the trouble aside from Chels lol. My family are big-time manufacturers. They manufacture all sorts of sports equipment and distributes them to all countries. I'm the only girl among our siblings, that explains my boyish attitude. The Gangster world calls me Silent Grace. You'll later on know why.
" Did you heard? The great Montenegro brothers are spotted eating at the cafeteria "
" Gagi , malamang dito sila nag-aaral . Bawal ba silang kumain sa cafeteria? "
" They never eat at that place. And not only the twins but the youngest brother too "
" Weh? Talaga? Bakit naman iyon nandito ? Sa ibang school siya nag-aaral diba? "
" Dunno . Maybe he's one of the visitors "
" Omg. I'd faint if I see them together in one place . It'd be so overwhelming "
Napahinto naman ako sa pagsusulat and decided to join Trish and Layla whose gossiping beside me .
" Montenegro brothers who? " I asked confused
" Tangeks. Hindi mo ba sila kilala? They're super popular " Layla
" They're the sons of Alice and Calix Montenegro. Famous for their shipping lines and vessels? Hello? Hindi ka paba nakapunta ng port? Most of the ships in every port here in the Philippines are named after them " Layla added
" Well sorry. I don't use ships for travelling. I prefer planes " and I flipped my hair jokingly and rolled my eyes
" Tangeks ka talaga . Mayaman ka gurl? " natatawang sabi nilang dalawa
Yes, and you'd be surprised . But I just shrugged at them .
" So what's with those boys? Ba't parang pinipyestahan sila ng mga tao dito? " I asked them
" Okay. Let me introduce them to you " Trish cleared her throat and sat up straight before talking
" The Montenegro brothers. The Eldest son is Hendrix Zimmer Montenegro. Graduated with flying colors sa Harvard. He's a model and a lawyer at the same time. Then followed by the handsome two twins. Nigel Rael Montenegro and Justine Carl Montenegro. Both studying here. Since this is one of the top Academies in the Philippines. Nigel is a varsity here. Basketball to be exact while Carl is one of top students here and palaging pinapadala sa mga brainy contests. Those two are very hot and popular. And lastly the youngest of the brothers, Silver Nick Maquentosh Montenegro, he's on his junior year and as I heard he's a basketball player too and will be competing on our Voultur week as a visitor . " she explained
" And if one of you are fantasizing those boys. Dream on girls. Girls from the class D to F are on the lowest part of the pyramid. Kaya kung ako sa inyo . Imbes na nag chismis kayo diyan, better lend me your damn ears and listen to my lesson para tumaas naman ang grades niyo at baka magkaroon kayo ng pagkakataong mapansin " biglang sulpot ni Prof sa harap naming tatlo
Tumalima naman kami at umupo ng maayos pero bago iyon ay may binulong ako kay Trish
" Tell me more later" agad naman siyang tumango at nag focus sa harap
After our period ngali-ngali kong hinila ang dalawa sa cafeteria para makinig pa sa ibang mga chismis nila
" Oh my gosh look girls , they're still here and whose that girl? Is that Silver's girlfriend? " Trish pointed at the persons whose stealing most of the student's attention here at the cafeteria
Agad naman kaming lumingon doon.
" What the fuck. " napamura nalang ako nang makita ko ang babaeng kasama ng dalawang lalaki na tinatawag nilang Montenegro brothers kuno
" What's wrong? " Trish asked
Umiling naman ako at patuloy na tumitingin sa magaling kong kaibigan na umuupo habang pinipyestahan ng mga chismis ng mga tao .
It's Shayne and I never thought she'll be exposed in this kind of situation. Ang alam ko lang ay hindi niya gusto ang attention and based on my observation hindi niya talaga gusto at mukhang napipilitan lang kumain kasama ang dalawa
" Oh no, baka girlfriend nga ni fafa Silver but wait, bakit wala si fafa Carl kooooo? " pagmamaktol ni Layla
" Alam mo naman iyang si Carl . Library is life . Hindi na nga naaninag palagi . Palaging si Nigel lang ang nakikita ng mga tao " sabi ni Trish and then she pointed at the man sitting beside Silver and Shayne
" Whatever. Pabayaan na natin sila . Ano pang chismis ang pwede niyong mailahad sakin? " I asked them joyfully na parang batang naghihintay ng storytelling
" Nako , there's more. Hindi lang iyang Montenegro brothers ang pinagpipiyestahan ng mga tao ngayong Voultur Week " Layla said
" Yep , And I also heard, The rest of the gang are here too " Trish said while popping the 'p'
" Gang? They're gangsters? " I asked shocked
" Rumored . But not literally gang na gangsters but gang as in group of friends " Lalya explained
" And that gang is composed of who? " I asked curiously
" Six hot and sizzling men from different elite families " tipid na sagot ni Trish while handing her phone to me to look at their pictures
Anim din sila? . My eyebrows furrowed
" The first and very known one is Justine Flip Hermoso. Heir of the Hermoso Import and Export Corporation. Student council leader and the top student of this school. " Layla said while scrolling in her phone to get some information
" Kristian Charles Jones. Heir of KO Oil Company . Also the Vice president of the student council. You'll know him faster dahil siya palagi ang nasa tabi ni Justine Flip . I mean they're almost a couple dahil hindi nila binibitawan ang isa't-isa " Trish continued
" Keeyan Prince Concepcion. Heir of Concept Technologies. A company who produces all sorts of technologies. Studying at Princeton Academy " Layla added
"Nigel Rael Montenegro and Justine Carl Montenegro are also part of the group " Trish interrupted
" and lastly , Henri Ren Zachariah . The Heir of Z Motor Company . Also studying at Princeton Academy " Layla ended
I was left thinking and didn't realize na tapos na pala
" Huy " Trish snapped her fingers infront of me
" Yun lang? " I asked blankly
" Anong yun lang? Ang haba kaya nga sinabi namin sa iyo . Hay nako ewan ko sayo . Makapag-cr nga . Layla samahan moko " then she grabbed Layla and dragged her papuntang Cr without letting me speak
Six boys? All came from Elite Companies . Rumored to be in a gang . Hindi kaya? Bigla nalang akong napatakip sa bibig ko .
" Oh my " I muttered to myself
They're the ones that Rox had been talking about . They're part of the Seekers . But wait? Rox only mentioned Justine Flip, Kristian and Nigel . She did not mention the others . Maybe they're not part of it? Hmm but they were rumored to be in a gang together. Or Baka rumored lang?
I shooked my head out of frustration and shuffled my hair . Oh my god. This Seeker thing is always bugging me . I shooked my head again at inayos ang buhok ko at tumayo na
" I'll surely figure that out . Kaya mo iyan Crystal hwaiting! " I whispered to myself and walked away from the cafeteria to get to class
