Thunder. Lightning. Rain.

Then came the cold. Aidoneus had felt the same coldness before. When he hadn't met Aiyana.

Aiyana.

He jolted awake from the bed. Aiyana. Aiyana. Aiyana. Where was his Aiyana?

The space beside him was empty and was even colder than the atmosphere present around him. He had no idea how, but his heart was restless. Something in him told him she left or that she was gone.

Impossible.

She loved him.

And the letter to his bedside table will prove him right. She was probably leaving a note telling him she was somewhere in the Underground.

The cream paper was folded into two. On its face were the words, Lord Nicolaou.

Aiyana only calls him by his title when she's teasing him. His suspicions rose as he picked up and opened the letter. But there were only ten words inside it. Enough to terrify every single cell in him. Enough to drive him mad.

You took my daughter away. Now I'm taking her back.

His heart pounded loudly, heavily, it was deafening his ears putting the thunder outside to shame.

He kneeled, the sound of his knees hitting the wooden tiles hit his ears the same time the thunder roared. His eyes were lost, heart in fragments, his tears were his voice speaking his undoing eloquently.

And amidst the world rumbling and playing the sound of destruction outside, one man bellowed in grief and anguish. The sound every musician failed to deliver with their instruments. The sound of utter loss.

Aidoneus.

In his grief, he was hearing her voice. No matter how loud the thunder was, still her quiet voice were louder to his ears. Perhaps that's how loud love is too.

Aidoneus.

There it was again. His eyes searched for the source of the voice. Ears straining to hear her again. Because if he doesn't listen, he feared he'd feel even more lost than what he's already feeling inside.

"Love." He muttered in despair, it was so quiet he didn't hear his own voice, what he wanted to hear was hers.

Aidoneus!

Had he finally gone mad? He stood up. Searching for her frantically, holding on to a nonexistent hope. Her voice was louder than the last as if she was speaking in front of him.

Aidoneus! Please wake up! Please.

Wake up. Was he dead? Perhaps he was. He felt as if he died. He must be dead.

Please. Please. Wake up. You're scaring me Aidoneus.

She was crying. He could hear it from her voice. No no no. She shouldn't be crying. He should wake up. If he was truly dead can he wake up just this one time? Just to wipe her tears away?

His eyes instantly opened as if someone heard his pleas. Bolting up right, he breathed heavily. He was met with a crying Aiyana, her bright blue eyes staring at him with absolute worry it hurt to look at her.

Slowly, forgetting that he had cried too, his hands wiped her tears away. Kissing her eyes, her cheeks then her lips ever so slowly, as if they had all the time in the world, as if he wasn't threatened with his nightmare, as if he wasn't grieving in his dream just seconds ago.

"Why are you crying love?" He asked softly, leaning his forehead on hers.

"You were shouting my name a-and you were crying too. What happened Aidoneus?" Her eyes were seeking answers as she cupped his face into her dainty hands, wiping his tears in the process.

Her question took him back to his nightmare. Upon recalling, his hands automatically went around her. Pulling her close until the both of them had a hard time breathing from the pressure of the embrace making her whimper. Suddenly, he remembered the injuries on her side.

"I'm so sorry love." He apologized, loosening his arms around her. But she only shook her head and looked at him, eyes curious and seeking for am explanation.

"Aidoneus?" She prodded patiently.

"Someone took you away from me." Those words were by far the most depressing thing to say for him. The thought, his nightmare and speaking it aloud - all of it were unfathomably painful.

"Is it my M-mother?"

He never answered but he knew she knew she was right.

She pulled away just enough to see his face. "No one is going to take me away from you. And no one is going to take you away from me. You know why? Because I'll keep fighting everyone who wants to tear us apart. I'll fight everyone and everything. And... and I might get tired of fighting everyone off but I'll never get tired of loving you Aidoneus."

He will forever remember Aiyana's face that night. So determined, so full of love... Her eyes wide and bright and so full of emotions, a feature no painter could ever master to paint. It was the same look he had when he'd practically begged her to let him love her. Utter and complete devotion.

"Love..." He began to speak but couldn't find his voice and words to continue.

"You told me before," she smiled no doubt reminiscing something, "that you'll find me no matter the cost. That you'll end anyone who comes your way until we're the only ones left breathing in this world. Well, since I love you now," she grinned mischievously lightening up the atmosphere, "I want to promise you something too."

A pause and a kiss. Then she was looking at him like he was her whole world.

"I promise you, I'll always find my way to you no matter the distance. You are my home Aidoneus and whoever tries to take me away from my home I'll make sure they suffer the heartbreak a million times worse than what we'll go through."

Fuuuuuuck.

His heart throbbed but it wasn't the only part of his body that did. If he wasn't such a crying mess that night he'd be inside her in no time. But instead he settled for a kiss. A heart stopping kiss. One that made the both of their knees weak and their hearts content.

Aidoneus had displayed a weakness the whole world would love to see him in, just so they could laugh and have something to use against him. But he trusted Aiyana more than himself and that was more than enough to let her see him so vulnerable.

Oh how the mighty have fallen. A Dark Lord, King of all Crime Lords, was nothing but a crying mess in front of the woman he loves the most. Too afraid to let her go, too afraid to lose her... And if he did, God and divinities forbid he did, he feared for what he could do.

"Do you want to go back to sleep?" He heard her ask after a while of them just hugging each other.

"No. I don't want to go back to sleep." He feared he'd dream about it again.

"Me too. Should we do something?"

"Hmm. We should." He kissed her shoulder before looking straight at her face and suddenly blurt out, his mind and body alive at the latest hour of the night. "Let's go for a drive."

Aiyana only looked at him like he was crazy. "It's 3 AM Aidoneus." Or maybe it was the earliest of the day.

"And?"

A corner of her lips lifted up in a small smile. "And actually, I want to go for a drive too." Her response made him smile back.

"Dress something warm and grab your coat baby." He kissed her forehead as he stood up.

In no time, they were dressed.

"Can I drive?" She asked as she eyed the car keys in his hand. Now he was looking at her like she was crazy.

"You're a reckless driver love."

"So?" She asked like he was not making any sense.

"So no."

"Hmm." Her eyes held a playful glint and Aidoneus suddenly felt scared. "Is that so?"

Aidoneus watched her like a hawk. She moved towards the bedside table and he immediately see why. On top of it was the unopened bottle of wine the server delivered last night. He closed his eyes. His girl wanted a drink at 3 AM.

By the time he opened his eyes, the glass in her hand was half full.

"You first?" She offered. He was about to decline but those eyes told him not to. Gulping, he accepted, drinking the wine until there was nothing left from the glass.

"Yes!" He saw her victorious fist pump. Now he was clueless.

Grabbing the glass from his hand, she placed the glass back to the bedside table. Aidoneus, perplexed when she didn't pour herself her favorite drink, asked, "You're not drinking?" Pure absolute shock evident from his tone from witnessing such miracle.

"No. Not when I have to drive." The next thing he knew the car keys that was in his hand was now dangling in front of him as she held it with a triumphant smirk.

"You." He looked at her, eyes unbelieving.

"Yes me. Me will drive since you can't drive now. The law says you can't drive when you've been drinking. And you have been drinking. Such a bad influence to my innocence. Gosh." Her hand went to her heart dramatically as she looked at him in feigned contempt.

His mouth lifted up into an amused smile. He looked at her hard but his eyes held mirth.

"You tricked me."

"No. I urged you."

That was all she said as she went past him, swaying her hips as she did. Aidoneus couldn't help but stare at her backside.

Now behind her, he slapped her ass. She jumped, gasping in surprise.

"What?" He looked at her with wide innocent eyes. "It's not my fault it's big. It urged me."

"You are impossible." She reprimanded, only feigning her anger.

Aidoneus's nightmare was wrong. Aiyana did not leave him. No one took her away and there was no thunder and rain. There was only her and him. Just the both of them driving, their hands interlocked and their hearts happy. He hadn't prayed before except for that one time he first saw Aiyana, praying that she was not in love with somebody else. Now he wanted to pray. He did not want this to end but instead of praying that he wanted eternity with her, he prayed for something else.

This moment with her might be temporary because of who he is. Being the sinful man that he was, the punishment of being loved and being happy and then taking it away all of a sudden - maybe that was his punishment. His nightmare made him realize so. For a man like him, moments with her were moments of immeasurable fortune. And although a lifetime would not be enough to spend his time with her, he was glad to be a part of her life. So he prayed, that no matter what happened may his Aiyana not lose the brightness in her eyes. He prayed for her happiness instead of praying for his. Because he owed it to her - she gave him his first real dream - to be happy.

His thoughts made him tighten his hold on her hand. "Are you alright?" She asked worriedly.

"I'm fine love." He smiled and she gifted him back with the same smile. One of content and love.

"Uhm." Her brows were furrowed and he instantly knew something was wrong.

"What's wrong love?"

"I'm kind of lost." She answered sheepishly to which he chuckled. "I'm sorry, I didn't know where I was going. We don't exactly have a destination."

Just then, his mind thought of a place. He wanted to take her there. It was afterall a part of his past and maybe his future too. "Let's go to this place."

"Hmm?" She momentarily took her eyes away from the road to look at him. "Where are we going?"

"I know this village. You'll love it there. I'll show you the way love." He answered, taking notice of her excitement.

Aiyana loved places. And Aidoneus made sure to always bring her to new ones, one which could fill her longing for wander and the hunger for seeing new things.

A few minutes and lots of lost and confused Aiyana later, they stopped at a familiar village. Medieval looking houses lined up the narrow streets, the chimneys sat atop the roofs were emitting smoke warming up the people's homes, Christmas decorations were hanging off the windows and doors, the bright and colorful Christmas lights were dancing and twinkling as they gazed at them, the closed dainty shops littered the cobble stones. The place looked cozy and warm, and although there weren't any people outside because of the time, Aidoneus felt welcomed without the need to be welcomed by everyone.

"What is this place?" Aiyana asked curiously, her eyes wide and her smile even wider.

"This is where I would like to spend my vacation. Come on, there's this place. You'll love it there." Aiyana turned to him and she was smiling now because of him. Maybe because he hadn't felt this excited before and it made her feel happy.

They went out of the car, their coats clinging to their body as the cold air of December embraced them. Hand in hand, Aiyana let Aidoneus take her away. They passed by a couple of houses and stores. Aiyana's eyes were all over her surroundings, taking everything in. Aidoneus only smiled as he observed her.

Finally, they stopped at what looked to be a forest. The lush greeneries before had turned into wilted grays. Aiyana did not speak and his heart did a little dance from knowing how much she trusted him as he led her further into the darker side of the forest.

"Oh my God!" She gasped, her eyes wide in amazement and surprise. "Is this the place? Is this where you want to take me?" She rambled off excitedly.

"Yes love." He couldn't help but smile himself. Before them was what looked to be like a huge glass dome with an underground room. The glass reflected the night sky and the stars that lived in it, making it look like they were watching the cosmos at the heels of their feet instead of looking up above their heads. It was actually a glass igloo and it was even more beautiful than he remembered. He made a mental note to raise the caretaker's pay. "Let's go. It's even more beautiful inside."

They went in, Aidoneus assisting Aiyana as she took the stairs down the igloo. He reached for the switch and just like magic the room lit up, fairy lights, the cloud lights that hung the wall, they were bright but the brightest would be his Aiyana's smile. There was a king sized bed on the center, the position was perfect for gazing up at the countless stars in the night sky. Shelves with different types of books were at the far right corner of the room, abstract paintings hung by the wall on their left, the small living room that was directly across the bed housed two couches, a coffee table and a huge TV screen.

"Wow. This place..." She paused seemingly at loss for words.

Aidoneus wrapped his arms around her as he hugged her from her back. "Do you love it?"

"I love it so much!" She replied enthusiastically.

"I had this built years before. To escape work sometimes. I've never brought anyone here, until you." He whispered, his breath tickling her ears.

"Thank you." She spoke, her voice sincere.

"No. Thank you."

"Why are you thanking me?" She moved her head to look at him, confused.

He kissed her head, the one near her bandaged wound. "For making me bring myself back here."

"What do you mean?"

"I've never been here for years. I didn't exactly had a reason why I should take a break. I don't deserve it. But you make me feel like I deserve everything. So thank you love."

Her response was a giggle. "So you're basically saying that I made you lazy?"

"Yeah." He didn't even want to deny. To this she laughed. "Let's go to bed?" She nodded her head and let him drag her down towards the bed.

Lying down, he moved the white fluffy comforter to cover the both of them. Aiyana's head was in his arms while his other hand pulled her close, his actions were gentle, not wanting to hurt her further as she was still recovering from her injuries.

They laid there. Not speaking, their eyes glued to the stars. Words weren't needed at the moment. He held her hand, stroking it gently making her mouth pull up into a smile.

"Have I ever told you that I joined a karate class before?" She broke the silence moments later, wanting to talk to him.

"No. You did?" He tried to hide his surprise. Sure he did some sort of a background check but he didn't know this. You really learn new things everyday.

"Yes. It was actually kind of a secret. No one knew." She said, answering his question but it led to another why. Why was it a secret? "My Mom enrolled me when I was 10, she said I should learn to protect myself when she's not around. I stopped attending when I was 20." This must be the reason why her reflexes are great but still Aidoneus' mind couldn't wrap around the fact on how she quickly adapted to his world. It was as if she was born for this, born for him.

"Tell me about your childhood." He said, wanting to know his Aiyana well. He wanted to know everything about her.

"There wasn't much to tell. I was a very obedient child. I never defied my Mother. Never did a bad thing. Oh, wait!" She perked up as she remembered something. "There was this one time when I was seven, a classmate of mine told me that my Mom doesn't deserve to be given a gift on Mother's Day because she wouldn't let me play and was too strict with me. I didn't like how she was talking about my mother and that was the first time that I did something bad."

"What did you do love?"

"I broke all of her crayons." She got that crazy smile on her face, as if she recalled the moment and was very satisfied and proud of what she did as a child.

Aidoneus couldn't help but laugh. "What? Really?"

"Oh. And her pencil too."

"Step one of being a bad ass huh?" He nudged her nose with his, making her giggle.

"I really felt like I was. Although it made me feel bad when they had to call my Mother because I made the girl cry. I was forced to say sorry even when I don't want to. I only felt bad because my Mother was called. How about you? What about your childhood?" Her curious eyes now moved from the stars to him. She was staring at him like he was a far more beautiful sight than the constellations drawn on the night sky.

"I didn't have any." His voice wasn't even sad nor did he felt lonely anymore but Aiyana looked at him like she wanted to erase all of his pain. "It's alright love. It was a way of being strong."

Aiyana was silent for a second and then she asked, "Everyone calls you Lord. Not that it's a bad thing, I mean they can call you Boss. But why is that? Your men are mad loyal to you too. You're their Lord. Is that how they see you?" Aidoneus could sense that she was being very considerate. She thought he was not ready to talk about his past and opted to talk about his present. But he was. It felt like the perfect moment to tell her.

"I am by no means a Lord, love. I am a sorry excuse of a human. They prefer to call me that way not because of how they see me but of how they heard of me."

"What do you mean?"

"The rumors about me are horrifying enough to demand respect. I do not wish for them to see how true the stories of me are. But I also do not wish for them to hear that my reputation was built off a lie." He pressed her closer, her face rested on his chest as she looked up at him with sad eyes urging him to continue. "I didn't have a choice. This was how I was born. No. This was how I was made. I'm gonna tell you something love but please don't forget that what I was and whatever I did before will never change the fact that I love you."

"Okay. I understand." She kissed his lips, once, twice. Assuring him she will accept and understand all of him. "I will listen. I won't interrupt. I want to know everything about you Aidoneus."

He kissed her forehead once more and sighed before continuing. "My parents died before I could even speak their names. I didn't know who they were. My childhood was spent in an orphanage. But I didn't like anyone, I didn't like the place. It was always too full and the people were too... pedantic. And when I reached 8 I knew something was wrong with it. I would hear screams of agony at night. And I'd noticed how the nuns' finger nails were caked with blood. Their smiles were too sinister too, not kind, not loving, all of them had an evil glint in their eyes." He paused. And although it was a long time ago he remembered it clearly. "Then one day, my vague suspicions became clear and I became enlightened, woke.

I once made a friend. He was older than me by 3 years. His name was Adam." Aidoneus was guilty that he was beginning to forget Adam's face. He could clearly remember the events but not the faces. "He would talk to me when others won't. He would keep me company even if others teased him for being with a lonely boy. Then, they took him. At first I thought he was going to get adopted so I followed him to say goodbye. What I saw that day would forever scar me. He didn't even have the time to scream, they slitted his throat and put him in a sack like a fucking pig." Aidoneus' breathing increased, as he remembered the horrifying scene. "The orphanage wasn't an orphanage, it was a slaughter house. That same night I escaped. I found out years later that they disguised the slaughter house as an orphanage for some sick and twisted trade. They'd sell the organs to the black market like it were some damn fine china cup.

I was 9 when my mentor saw me running off the streets. He gave me shelter and food. He gave me stab wounds and bruises too." He smiled bitterly at the memory. "I fought for my life but it was better. The pain was better. Back at the slaughter house I couldn't feel anything and when I felt pain it was as if I felt alive for the first time. I was 13 when I first killed someone. A bullet right through his head. Training had always been too realistic. I remembered how much my mentor praised me. I was always a quick learner, quick witted, I was everything a Don wanted for a son. But I never saw him as a father figure. He was more of like a brother to me but even then we never treated each other as brothers. There were no affection between us and the only feeling that binds us together was our greed for power. And by 15 I left. I hated owing anyone. I hated gratitude. And I figured I don't do well with people commanding me. I hate it. So I made people respect me. I did dirty things. To have money, I let people use me as a weapon. They hired me to kill and I wasn't one to question death. But like I said, I hated orders. When I had enough money, I started building my empire, slowly, little by little. Years later, people bow to me. People cower before me. I shut off the slaughter house when I knew I had the power to do so. I killed every single one of them, the founders, the guys who did their dirty works and those fake nuns too. The guy who killed Adam was still there and I took my time torturing him. The poor kids were saved but I knew I was late. I couldn't save everyone. And I found out then why my parents were dead. They were troubled individuals, had debts more than their fingers could count and I was a collateral. The head of that sick business told me they killed my parents when they couldn't pay their debts then took me and pretended I was safe at the pretend-orphanage. I killed that person last, satisfied I finally got answers." He paused for a moment, letting out a breath of satisfaction as he remembered how he tortured the man like it only happened yesterday. The memory was fresh and clear, satisfying him even more.

"That same year, after accomplishing my goal of knowing who I was, who my parents were and terminating everyone who wronged me, I came here. To take a break. Do something human for the first time. Rest. That was the first and the last time, until you.

I guess saying that my reputation was built off a lie was a lie itself. I did have a choice but choosing is a luxury and I prefer surviving, it being a necessity."

Aiyana was crying by the time he'd finished telling her everything. "I'm so sorry you went through that. No one deserved that pain. Especially not a child." He only tightened his hold on her. He kissed her head and fondled her cheek lovingly.

"You know I still love you right?" She asked. "You know nothing will ever change how I see you," a pause as her tear-filled eyes stared at him, "right?"

He nodded, trusting her. He kissed her cheek and she closed her eyes momentarily relishing in his gentle touch. When she opened them he spoke.

"If I could have another life again, I'd wish I'd never been born for blood. But that's how I saw you. That's how I met you. And now, I'd pray and kneel for blood if it means I'd meet you in my next life. I love you."

He didn't know who made the first move but the next thing he knew their lips were slamming on each other. His body covered hers as he opened her legs to settle between them. Their tongues fought. Their hands were everywhere, touching everything.

Just then, the first snow fell. As if it wanted to shower them with its blessings. As if winter, the coldest most unforgiving of all seasons, had finally had its first and last wish to come true - for them to be together.

Surprising him, Aiyana flipped them off until she was on top. She grinded right where he wanted her and the groan that came out of his mouth was of primal need. His hands pushed her down, her core directly on his. Moans flew out of her lips as they kissed.

He was pretty sure his pants were ruined. He felt pre cum leaked out from his tip and the constant movement from Aiyana's hips was not helping. He was painfully hard by now. Aiyana rode him harder, both of them still fully clothed. Aidoneus' hands slipped inside her sweater, his fingers brushing against soft skin, careful not to hurt her injuries. His hands went up until it came in contact with her bra.

"Take it off. Please." She begged. And who was he to deny her? He unhooked her bra from her back, how he did it so easily without ever doing it before amazed him. Bra now gone, his hands didn't waste time. He fondled her breasts earning a moan from her.

Not liking that he can't see her skin, he sat up and removed her sweater with her bra. Now half naked in front of him, he couldn't help but groan at the sight before him. There was her injury but he didn't pay attention to it as his eyes roamed. Her big hips, thin waist, flat stomach, and those big and beautiful breasts aching for his touch. He looked at her in wonder and Aiyana bit her lip shyly. How can one be so perfect?

"You're so beautiful love." He praised for she truly was. He'd seen naked women before in clubs where he did businesses with but he never paid attention to them, didn't even spare a second glance. But what was in front of him was made out of his deepest fantasies. So beautiful and all his. "You don't know how many times I dreamed about you. Like this. For me." Before she could say anything, his mouth latched onto her left breast, his hand fondling her right. Aiyana's hands instantly went to his hair, pulling him closer to her.

"Aidoneus." She gasped as he sucked harder, this time his mouth went to her right. The other wasn't left abandoned though, as his hand fondled it gently.

His mouth made a suction sound then he pulled it and teased it with his teeth. Aiyana became a moaning mess. "You like that?" He didn't hear any reply, she seemed oblivious to everything but his touch. The thought made him smirk.

His lips then travelled north, kissing the valley between her breasts first then up to her neck where he left open mouthed kisses. He sucked on her neck for some time, his hands never leaving her bosom. He was leaving his mark for everyone to see. He lied down, with her still on top as he kissed her again on her mouth. His hips left the bed as he thrusted into her. She cried from the sudden movement. He moaned with her, the pleasure almost blinding him. He wasn't even inside her yet and they were covered from the waist down, but he was already reacting like he was about to cum.

"Sit on my face." He ordered. His voice low and deep, speaking his need loud and clear.

"W-what?" Her eyes were hooded, mirroring his.

"Sit on my fucking face Aiyana." He was almost animalistic, he wanted to taste her again. "Strip."

She did as she was told, her eyes alight with excitement. Although her face was shy, Aidoneus could read her eyes. She wanted this too.

He watched her strip as he palmed his dick. Stroking his erect member from the fabric of his pants. "You look so beautiful love. Only for me." He spoke words of praise to her. When she lowered her panties and tossed it somewhere, he groaned loudy, his eyes settling between her thighs. "Come here."

Slowly, she moved towards him, crawling, her heavy beautiful breasts bounced a little as she did. She sat on top of his chest, his hands instantly went on her thighs, caressing her soft skin. His tan complexion against her pale skin made him groan. She felt so soft under his hands. His eyes were still glued at what's between her sweet thighs, then he looked up and stare at her bright orbs. "Sit higher baby."

Biting her lip shyly, she moved until her very private part is hovering over his head. Aidoneus' mouth watered at the sight. "You're soaking for me love. Let me make it better."

That was the last thing he said as his mouth went busy after. The first swipe of his tongue had her throwing her head back in pure pleasure. "Aidoneus!" She screamed. The man himself was merciless, flicking and biting her clit then pushing his tongue inside her walls. The action felt so erotic. His hands brought her hips down as he grinded her core on his face.

Her juices ran down her thighs and in no time she was grinding on his face harder and faster. "Oh Aidoneus." She held his hair and the slurping sounds he did were suddenly music to both of their ears. He wasn't even using his hands. His mouth alone will be her undoing. She rode him faster, her hand grabbing his hair the other gripping the headboard.

"You taste so good love." He praised once more, he wanted all of her. Wanted her cum all over his tongue. "That's it baby." He paused to encourage her as her hips rode him even faster.

"P-please." She begged for release. Aidoneus heard her and ate her out like she was his last and best meal. "I-I'm c-close." She said as she grinded on his face, her eyes rolling heavenwards. Aidoneus could only hum, the vibration traveled through her body, making her cry out as she came so hard she feared she would drown him.

It was not the first time that Aiyana squirted on his mouth, but the second time almost had him drowning from pleasure. She was trembling from her orgasm but Aidoneus didn't stop licking her until she was clean and had no more cream to give him. "Aidoneus." She called. "S-sensitive."

He stopped and licked her thighs instead. Licking her juices that ran down the inside of her thighs until she was completely clean. Pecking her core one last time, he brought her down to him and hugged her close. He licked his lips slowly as he watched her watch him. She was still trembling, completely naked against his body as he covered them with the duvet. "How are you feeling baby?"

"G-good. I feel so good." He smiled, kissing her lips repeatedly, letting her taste herself. "I-I want to do it to you too." He looked at her to see that she was serious. But tonight was about her, not about him. He was hard as a rock but he couldn't help but feel satisfied. He gave pleasure to the woman he loves, that was more than a satisfaction.

"You don't have to do anything for me love."

"B-but--"

"No buts. You're tired. Your head and side needs to heal. Just rest, okay? I love you. So much." He spoke gently against her ear before taking her lips in a fast, hot kiss.

Knowing he was right, she nodded. "You love me so much huh?" She felt the need to declare it. To the stars, to the moon and to the snow that now fell continously. This man beside her, who just gave her the most mind blowing orgasm just seconds ago, he loved her to death.

Aidoneus' arms tightened around her. Suddenly remembering how he almost lost her again. The truck incident before and then his nightmare. He pushed his head against her bosom, kissing the valley between her breasts, suddenly feeling vulnerable. He didn't answer yet. His throat clogging up. Instead, he copied her and gazed at the stars. He noticed the snow. Two very beautiful things were in front of his eyes but the most beautiful of all laid beside him.

As he stared at the stars and the snow, he knew their story was special. For even the stars that stays at the same place for a hundred and even millions of years and the snow that fell and die for a split second, he knew these little things has a story too.

Their story had long been written. Way before the stars could even begin to spark its first light. Way before the first ever snow fell on the very surface of the earth. Their fates were as certain as the constellations that guide them to cross each other's paths. As certain as the day of the first snowfall. The stars and the snow only wrote the same thing all over again - no matter what the circumstance is they were always fated to meet.

And you know what's the best part? They weren't looking for each other but here they are. Two people who didn't know they were lost found a home in each others' arms.

Smiling, he turned to her and looked to stare at her eyes, the blue in them so bright and so full of love, mirroring his own. He kissed her once, one that held his love, his promise, his loyalty, then spoke answering her question before.

"There will never be an I, in whatever lifetime, parallel universe, dimension... there will never be an I in whatever world and state I am in that would not love you."

Aiyana could only stare at him, her heart's beating so loud it mirrored his own. And without her knowing, her tears fell. Too much love, too much emotion, everything was too much. "Aidoneus..."

"Forgive me. For loving you too much."

"There is nothing to forgive. I love you too."

He shook his head, ruining his own moment as he remembered his nightmare. "It is too much. Sometimes I look at you and I always fear that everything is a dream. What if this was my life? What if my life with you was a dream and I woke up to death?"

"Then please don't wake up. I love you and I would love you for a lifetime and beyond. That is a vow Aidoneus."

He closed his eyes, tears falling down his cheeks as he spoke his next words, the words he would never thought he would say in his lifetime.

"Marry me."
