I called your phone one morning and there was no answer.
I looked around our home for you
I couldn't find you.
I hated playing hide and seek with you
I always lost.
I made my morning tea nice and bitter .
For now on what I put into my body has to be a reflection of me .
Soon I found out why you didn't come
Home from a long day of work.
I grabbed my keys and drive to the
Front door of your absence.
I knocked three times hoping for you to appear.
~ I let go because you showed me you needed something more then tea.
You wanted a bigger house but I was your home.
