The next morning Prerna woke up to see Anurag sleeping peacefully next to her, still gripping her right arm tightly and looking extra innocent in his sleep.
She smiled and messed up his hair slightly, just the way she loved it best! It reminded her of the time they would meet when they were still developing feelings for each other. They would eat Prerna's favorite phuchkas and visit Anurag's favorite chai ki tapri to spend time with each other, and Prerna would purposefully mess up his hair. She would always tell her perfectionist Internet Gyaani Baba to have a bit more relaxed approach to life.
And after they confessed their love to each other, Anurag would make it a point to keep his messy hairstyle everyday just for his Prerna. After all he was so madly in love that he would do anything for her, her beautiful smile was his best reward for the day. She thought about how those days were pure bliss, they never had any worries back then. It was pure innocent love...
"Bahut thak gaya hoga bechara...I'll let him sleep as long as he needs, mahino baad chain ki neend aa rahi hogi", she thought lightly caressing his face
Prerna turned to her left to see lots of fluffy pillows around her, and it was heartwarming to feel so cared for after ages.
"Yeh sapna to nahi hai na...I feel so much at peace especially seeing Anurag's smile and comfort! After months of suffering, this is a blessing", she thought, closing her eyes and opening them again to assure herself that this was actually reality
Prerna shifted to her right to move her arm slowly to avoid waking up Anurag. She was greeted by not a sleeping Anurag but instead a kiss on her cheek from him!
"Anurag...tum sone ka natak kar rahe the! Besharam ladka....", Prerna said, turning away and smiling to herself
"Oye ladki, mujhe pata hai ki tum smile kar rahi ho....I know you better than yourself! Waise humne kai mahino se thik se romance nahi kiya hai, to extra romantic hona padega na!", said Anurag, leaning in to kiss Prerna's tummy
"Good morning cutie pie! I can't wait to see you, my little princess! I feel like carrying you and cuddling you...I lovey lovey you a lot my baby, tumhe to meri kissy bahut pasand hai na", he said, drawing patterns on Prerna's tummy as she watched him intently.
She couldn't take her eyes off him when he was looking so cute, she really had the most adorable and doting husband in the world! Just then Prerna's stomach growled, interrupting their little moment.
Anurag chuckled, "Oho meri cutie pie humari tarah foodie hi hogi! Usko already bhuk lag gayi hai! Hai na princess, bhuki bhuki hai na tumhari choti si tummy?"
"Tumhe bhi bhuk lagi hai, pata hai mujhe! Raat ko kisi ne kuch khaya nahi na...ruko main kuch banake laati hu", said Prerna, trying to carefully get up
Anurag shook his head, "Nahi Prerna, tum koi kaam nahi karogi. Kal bola na maine, main tumhe pamper karna chahta hu. I already made breakfast just for you, main waise bhi pehle uth gaya tha to maine socha ki kuch simple sa banau tumhare liye. Ruko, main breakfast aur coffee laata hu"
"Ok baba thik hai, I'll just stretch a bit and listen to some music! Tum bhi khao mere saath varna main nahi khaungi", Prerna reminded Anurag, reaching for her phone to play some old songs that always soothe her

This was one song that was close to her heart because of a beautiful memory with her Anurag. She smiled thinking of that day when Anurag was too busy at his office to call her back and how worried she had gotten. Not thinking about anything else, she had come to his office in the pouring rain and hugged him tightly when she reached his cabin and saw him safe and sound!
Prerna had gotten a bit angry with him for scaring her like that and she was on her silent mode. Anurag teased her for not being her usual chattar pattar radio self and finally he had sung this song for her to console her. It was the magic of the song and the sweetness of his voice that made this song an instant mood lifter for her...
As she was lost in her thoughts, Anurag came back to the room with her breakfast and coffee. Pausing the song, Anurag started singing the next part...

Finishing the song, Anurag hugged Prerna, wrapping his arms carefully around her waist and touching his forehead to hers
"This song is so so special, hai na? Tumhe pata hai ki maine yeh gaana kitni baar suna hai...it would always help me escape from that empty feeling these past months. Whenever I heard this song, I felt your presence right by me. I would imagine your smiling face and it would give me purpose to live for you, for our love!", said Anurag, a tear escaping from his eyes
Hearing this pierced Prerna's heart, she could never forgive herself for the emotional trauma she had inflicted on Anurag. She wiped away his tears and kissed his forehead to reassure him and encourage him to just live in the moment. Instinctively she too cried silently. She could hide her tears in front of anyone else, but not with Anurag...they both were so vulnerable yet strong when they were together!
Prerna brought his face closer to her chest, so he could feel her heartbeats, she knew how this instantly would calm him down
"Just focus on my heartbeats Anurag, let's never let these painful thoughts of our past hurt us more. We have to be positive, please ro mat Anurag! It's the thing that hurts me most in the world, you know I can face any amount of pain but seeing you cry breaks my heart! Mera Internet Gyaani Baba, dekho tumhari cutie pie ko. Tumhe aisa dekhke humari baby saddy saddy ho jaayegi na...please tumhari jaans ke liye muskurao! Khulke haso Anurag, mere liye over romantic Majnu Basu hi thik hai...yeh saddy saddy Basu nahi", said Prerna comfortingly
Anurag nodded and held her for some time, keeping his eyes closed.
"Haan tum sahi keh rahi ho Prerna, hume cutie pie pe focus karna hai....it's just that..tumhe khone ka darr...it's in the back of my mind and it really hurts. It's my tendency to overthink that makes me hurt even more! Everything about you Prerna, even every small thing affects me very much! I just want you and my cutie pie to be happy, that's all that is needed for me to be the happiest person in the world! You both are my life, I'm so lucky and you and my cutie pie and mine to love and care for forever!", said Anurag, his tone feeling a bit more hopeful and sorted.
Prerna took deep breaths to calm herself down, she promised herself that she would do anything and everything to heal her Anurag
"Anurag, I promise you that we will be together forever. I will never leave you, not for anything! We are there for each other and we have our cutie pie to always cheer us up hai na! Hum har choti si baat ko bhi ek dusre ke saath share karenge....there's no reason to hide anything, we will fight our worries and fears together!", she said while running her fingers through Anurag's hairs.
"I too promise Prerna, I won't ever hide anything! Dekho tum itni aasani se mujhe console karti ho, see I feel better already! Tumhari baaton mein jaadu jo hai, you understand me more than myself. Jitni baar bhi bolu, kam lagta hai...I love you! Main happy happy Basu ban gaya na, chalo khana khaate hai!", said Anurag, grinning after Prerna
Prerna and Anurag fed each other breakfast and then came downstairs. Everyone had just come down for breakfast, looking exhausted and dull from the previous day's happenings.
"Maa, Baba, Nivi di, Anupam, I've decided that Prerna and I need a bit of a mental break from all that has happened in the past months. To hum kuch dino ke liye saath mein achchi tarah se time spend karna chahte hai. There's a surprise I had for Prerna which I planned for before our wedding and I want to make that dream of ours come true. I've already packed our bags and gotten everything set for this. Agar aap sab ko koi problem nahi hai to hum wahan par rehke aayenge", Anurag told them calmly, observing for their reaction
Mohini agreed, "Sahi keh rahe ho Onu...I've seen how much an emotional toll this all has taken over you both. Sorry for all the terrible things I have told you Prerna, sab shanti se sochne ke baad mujhe ehsaas hua ki tum dono saath ho tabhi hum sab khush reh sakte hai. You and Prerna deserve to have some time to yourselves, tum dono enjoy karke aana"
Anurag felt like dancing seeing Mohini's reaction, feeling grateful that after long she realized that his happiness would always be with Prerna. Prerna too was very happy to finally hear this, and soon they left home, heading first to the doctor's office.
Anurag's mood was even more uplifted when he heard from the doctor that his cutie pie was completely healthy! He couldn't control his excitement, imagining that in a few months he could hold and cuddle his little princess! It felt unreal to him, his choti si jaan...
Walking outside of the office, Anurag lifted Prerna with ease to take her to the car. His happiness knew no bounds and no words were enough to express exactly what all was going through his mind at that point! Prerna didn't resist, considering his emotional state in the morning. She knew very well that her adorable husband wasn't going to leave any stone unturned to pamper her every day.
Anurag clearly had gone a bit overboard with the pillows, medicines, blankets, pain balms and all he had stashed into the trunk. Even for Prerna's seat, he had kept a fluffy pillow for her comfort and repeatedly reminded himself to drive slowly and extra carefully.
"Anurag...batao na hum kaha jaa rahe hai! I really want to know", asked Prerna curiously
Anurag caressed her cheek, "Arre impatient ladki, surprise hai tumhare liye! Itni mehnat ki hai maine, aise thodi na bata dunga. I want to see your reaction, that's what matters the most for me!"
"Thik hai baba, I'm super excited to see what you have planned! I'll play some music for along the way then", said Prerna
"Nahi music nahi...Antakshari khelte hai! Jab hum sab saath mein khelte hai tum hamesha jeet jaati thi. Main Internet Gyaani Baba to hu, lekin tum to Hindi songs ki encyclopedia ho!", said a grinning Anurag
Prerna's eyes lit up thinking of those memories and they played Antakshari for a while. She couldn't help teasing Anurag every now and then for mixing up some lyrics, and they laughed their hearts out!
Sometime later, Prerna tapped Anurag's shoulder, "Anurag, ek minute gaadi side mein park karo na"
Anurag quickly parked and gave an alarmed look to Prerna
"Kya hua Prerna...dard ho raha hai? Pain balm lagau? Kuch chahiye? Bhuk lagi hai kya, bolo na meri jaan kya baat hai?", he asked frantically
Prerna smiled at his care and lightly massaged his forehead to calm him down,
"Arre Anurag please itna tension mat lo. Sab thik hai, sorry I didn't mean to worry you. Agar aisa kuch hai to main bataungi na. It's just that I was craving chaat aur mujhe waha pe bhelpuri ka stall dikha to is liye rukne ko kaha. It hurts me to see you so worried...I know you want to take full care of me and I love it, I really do! But please don't care so much for me, that you forget to take care of yourself first!", Prerna said, almost in tears
"Prerna, I'm fine! Tumhe pata hai na ki main thoda over possessive hu...aur ab cutie pie ke liye bhi over protective ho gaya hu! Tum mere baare mein zyada worry mat karna, I don't want you to take any stress during this time. Tum meri jaan ho na, to main tumhe discomfort mein bhi dekh nahi sakta...ab aur emotional baatein nahi! Let's go eat some bhelpuri, cutie pie ko bhi bhuk lag gayi hogi!", Anurag said, getting up to open the door for Prerna
Anurag ordered plates of bhelpuri for the two of them, a little extra spicy for Prerna just the way she loves it! Her Internet Gyaani Baba could forget something from his studies also, but not Prerna's eating preferences. Everything about her was imprinted in his mind forever, the entire course of his life changed once they became friends, and even more once they fell in love....
It was the cutest sight for Anurag! Prerna was gobbling up the bhelpuri making the most adorable expressions. She didn't even look up at him one time while she ate, licking her fingers and fully enjoying her bhelpuri. He pouted cutely, gently putting his arms around Prerna's waist
"Dekho na cutie pie tumhari mumma kitni badi foodie hai...khana mil jaaye to mujhe bhi ignore kar sakti hai. Yeh galat baat hai na, tumhara dadda kitna handsome aur hot hai aur tumhari mumma notice bhi nahi karti...."
She playfully smeared a bit of chutney on Anurag's nose in an attempt to make him laugh.
"Tum kya kam foodie ho? Whenever you eat rasgullas, that's the only time you are out of your over romantic mood Bengali Babu! Varna hamesha kiss karne ke liye bahane dhundte ho", she said giggling to herself
Once they finished eating, they drove off to Anurag's surprise location and about ten minutes before they reached, Anurag tied a blindfold around Prerna's eyes.
He parked the car in the front and walked around to open the car door for Prerna, picking her up with utmost care and leading her to the surprise.
"Anurag, kitni baar uthaoge mujhe....main choti baby nahi hu. I'll walk, just hold my hand", she said, and Anurag put her down, untying her blindfold
"Yeh dekho meri pyari wifey, tumhara surprise! Yaad hai jab hum saath mein bahar ghoomte the aur humare future ke baare mein sapne dekha karte the, tum keh rahi thi tumhe kaisa ghar chahiye...You told me wanted a small house away from the city in a scenic place. A place where we could have our own beautiful garden, to grow your favorite red roses and also fruits and vegetables! Somewhere calm and close to nature, where all that mattered to us would be each other! Yahi hai woh jagah, humari choti si pyar ki duniya..."
Prerna couldn't control her tears and hugged Anurag from the side, and he bent down a bit so she could kiss his forehead.
"Tumhe yeh itna vividly yaad tha? It's all exactly how I imagined and even better than that! Ab tumhe thank you kaise bolu...what gift can I give you, Anurag?", asked Prerna softly
"Pagal ladki, maine yeh sab tumhari khushi ke liye kiya hai. Main tumse bahut zyada pyar karta hu, to agar main tumse kuch expect karta to yeh pyar hi nahi hota. Aur waise bhi I have the best gift in the world, I have you by my side forever and my adorable little princess. What more could I ever ask for!", spoke Anurag, every word that he said showed his undying love for Prerna
Prerna just froze, staring at Anurag in admiration
"Prernaaa...chalo na andar chalte hai! I want you to see all the decorations I had arranged. Otherwise if you want to continue checking out my handsome face all day then you're welcome to do that also!", said Anurag smirking, receiving a light hit on his shoulder from a blushing Prerna
"Thik hai fine let's go inside...varna yaha bahar hi romance karna shuru karoge tum Besharam Basu!", Prerna said pulling Anurag inside
"Someone seems to be in a romantic mood now! I'll show you around the house and garden, uske baad jitna romance karna hai kar lenge, ok? Yeh two month honeymoon ki tarah hi hai na", said Anurag with a mischievous look
Walking around their new home, Prerna was impressed at the decorations in her favorite colors and the beautiful rose garden, and Anurag couldn't be happier for fulfilling her dream!
Soon after they went to their room, and Prerna sat on the bed, stretching her legs. Anurag brought a pain balm out of a bag and started massaging her ankles. Prerna put her hand out to stop him...
"Prerna, I know you don't like it when I touch your feet. Lekin mujhe yeh bhi pata hai ki jab tum car mein zyada der tak baithi rehti ho to tumhare ankles stiff ho jaate hai. Aur yeh sab karna mujhe achcha lagta hai, to please karne do! Kuch hi mahino mein puri pregnancy ki khushi experience karunga", said Anurag moving to softly kiss the sole of her foot
Prerna smiled at his care and started giggling uncontrollably when he began to lightly tickle her feet. He used to do this when they were kids too, it would annoy her then but now she found it quite endearing. Well then again, Anurag was the most doting and cutest person ever so everything about him was endearing!
Anurag then moved over and sat behind Prerna, such that her back was resting against his chest. She could feel his heartbeats racing with their proximity and he started massaging her shoulders.
Wanting to tease him, Prerna remarked, "Anurag, your heartbeats are so fast, mera itna effect hai tum pe?"
"Haan isi liye tumhare kareeb aate hi I come into my over romantic mood...tum puch rahi ho to main dikha bhi sakta hu ki tumhe dekhke kya kya karne ka mann karta hai!", he said, making her look at him.
Anurag bit his lip, knowing very well how hot he looked whenever he did that...
He noticed that Prerna's breath hitched and smiled to himself, she was shy to admit it but she desired him just as much...
Anurag ran his fingers along her right arm and kissed her shoulder then her neck. He turned her slightly, still assuring that she was in a comfortable position. Luckily for him, his jaan too seemed to be in a good mood! He kissed her lips sweetly and she responded with equal passion..
A bit later after they both took some rest, Anurag was talking to his cutie pie,
"Hi cutie pie...aapko ghar kaise laga? It's perfect hai na, sab aapki Mumma ki pasand hai! I'm sure my little baby loves this new place, it's so peaceful. Waise aap meri kissy miss kar rahi hogi....jab aap thodu sa badi ho jaaogi main aapko huggy karke dher saari kissy dunga! Ab main aapko story sunaunga....tumhari mumma aur dadda ki love story!"
Prerna was surprised, "Tum cutie pie ko humari love story bataoge?"
"Of course, we have the most special love story. The hottest couple, meri Chattar Pattar Radio aur tumhari Internet Gyaani Baba!", he said proudly
Prerna smiled as Anurag continued,
"We're meant to be together forever, no matter the problems we have faced in the past or the ones we will face in the future! And we have learnt not to sacrifice our love and our togetherness, not for anything!"
He put his arm around her waist and they both kept their hands on her tummy, holding their beloved cutie pie.
Anurag and Prerna looked at each other and knew that their future would be beautiful, as long as they were together!
