I open my mouth,
take the words in
my head
and spit them
out in a rush
as if by the devil himself.
Those words aren't my own!
I chase them down, but they reach your ears
too soon.
Demons grin in your eyes
as your face shows hurt
shock
betrayal
While the devil pushes more words towards me.
I try to run and hide, but
they find me anyways.
Our devils inside kiss and
slip away, neither with a heart.
Only we have hearts capable of
this.
