"really?" harry asked, stretching. "but you've got a little button nose and dark eyelashes, all these little freckles, your smile is adorable...i could go on."
"please don't," i laughed. "i was too quiet to be pretty, back on earth. i never had friends. i lived alone in the middle of nowhere. i didn't need people — i didn't think i did, until i met you."
i pretended i didn't see harry's rosy cheeks.
"you're pretty too, harry. you're hearts prettier."
"speaking of, how's that heart beat going?" he asked. i leant my head on his shoulder.
"going is the...right word."
the room was getting darker. i was sure of it.
"i'll miss you, merry."
