I was now 7 months pregnant, and Philip was no help.
"Philip! Come on! We're going to be late for the open house!"
"I know I'm coming I'm coming!"
We were going to check out a new house we might be moving into.
We got there and it was a two story house with 6 bedroom and 5 bathroom house.
It was very spacious Furniture was already placed through out the house.

A diamond chandelier hung from the ceiling, in what would be the living room.
Couches, chairs, Benches and a piano we're all there, along with a fire place.
We moved onto the kitchen. It was all marble and very spacious.
Then we went into the office, it was just the perfect size for a office and Philip was happy.
Then there was a library, probably my favorite part of the house.
The dining room was white, and bright.
Very bright.
Then after all that you would walk to the back of the house, a ballroom was there.
I smiled "I love it."
"Well let's see the upstairs." Philip said.
We walked up there and it was all wood floor, a darker brown.
Our first stop was the guest bedroom, very casual, a queen bed, vanity, dresser, and then a little table beside it.
Next was the 2 other rooms, about the same thing as the guest bedroom but the rooms were bigger.
Next was what would be the nursery.
It was perfect.
A wonderful size for a crib, changing station, dresser from clothes, and then a rocking chair to read to him or her.
"Pip! It's perfect." I turned to him with the biggest smile ever.
I gave him a kiss and he smiled "let's see the master and we can go talk about it."
I nodded and we walked into the master and wow.
A king size bed, walk in closet, dresser, table, and it was attached to the bathroom.
I smiled "now do you want to get it?"
He nodded "definitely."
He kissed me and then we went to make the offer.
It was expensive but it was worth it.
We both signed papers and we would move in 2 weeks later.
And I couldn't wait.
••• A Week Later
I had spent the whole week packing, and helping Philip.
Though that was kinda hard with the belly.
Philip had got a job as a lawyer, and he loved it.
He was about to start a case and couldn't be more stressed.
"Philip dear?" I asked, coming over to where he was working.
"Yes dear?"
"Come on to bed, it's getting late."
He shook his head "I will as soon as I finish this page."
"Philip, you've been working on that all day."
"I'm almost done."
I sighed and nodded "come to bed when your done."
I went back to my room and sighed, laying down.
I grabbed a book and started reading.
I placed my hand on my belly and smiled "daddy is just busy, he'll be here soon..."
But before I went to bed, he still wasn't there.
I woke up the next day and Philip was gone. I sighed.
I got up and went to eat breakfast "hello Mrs. Hamilton."
"Hello Layne..."
"What's wrong?" She said, placing a bowl of oatmeal in front of me
"Just Philip. He's working a lot more. and I know he's busy but... I just miss him."
"I understand, have you talked to him?"
I nodded "I try to! He's just busy..."
"I'm sorry."
"No it's alright... if you see him, tell him I'm going to town."
She nodded "of course."
I walked out to the carriage and we were off into town.
We finally got there and I walked out.
I wanted to get some stuff for the baby.
I got bottles, bibs, and just a stuffed animal.
I was a brown teddy bear which was very soft.
And with that I was back in the carriage on my way home.
I got there and Philip was still working, it was just us because my father was up in New York.
I sat down the stuff and asked Layne to fix something for Philip, but I would bring it to him. I was just to tired to make anything.
I grabbed my book and continued to read it just before Layne said the food was done.
I walked up "Philip please come down and eat."
"I'll come down when I'm done."
I sighed "Philip please! You've been in this room all day all week!"
"I'm almost done."
"You said that yesterday..." I mumbled "I'll have Layne bring it up."
He nodded
"I love you?"
No response.
I walked out and closed the door, "it's no use Layne..."
"I'm sorry Mrs. Hamilton."
"It's alright..."
I sat down and continued to read my book.
I continued to read until it was dark outside.
I walked to my bedroom, not even going to bother to try to get him to come out. I knew my answer.
"Goodnight Layne."
"Goodnight Mrs. Hamilton."
I changed into my night gown and I was out.
Philip's P.O.V-
I had finally finished 10/11 essays I needed to write for the upcoming cases.
It was around 1 am and I walked into my room, seeing Y/N already asleep.
I hadn't talked to her a lot but I needed to get this done.
She had he back facing away from where I would be sleeping and I sighed. I was turning into my father.
But now I know why he hid away.
He needed to get it done.
And I needed to get it done as well.
I got changed and kissed her forehead as a goodnight and I laid down, falling asleep.

I then woke up at 5, going to continue writing.
I hate to do this to her but the sooner I get this done the sooner I can spend time with her.
I continued to write as Y/N walked in "I brought breakfast."
I didn't respond and she sat it down next to me "I have a doctors appointment today, show if you can." She said before closing the door.
I sighed, I was going to have to miss it.
Y/N's P.O.V-
I knew Philip wasn't coming so I invited Angie to come with me, along with Eliza.
"Where is Philip?" Angie asked
"Working."
"Again?"
I nodded "yes. Again. He's been working non stop since before we found out about the house."
"Do you want me to talk to him?"
I shook my head "no. It won't change anything."
"I'm sorry Y/N."
"It's alright."
She smiled "so have you thought of names?"
"No, not really... I was waiting until him or her are born."
She nodded "that makes sense."
We got to the doctors and Eliza was there "where's Philip?"
"Working." I said
"He's what?" She said
"He's working."
"Oh for Heaven sakes god bless this child I'm about to release all hell out on..." she said "alright, let's get this check up."

We had arrived back and Eliza walked up to the office where Philip was working.
"Philip Alexander Hamilton! How dare you not go to your own child's appointment! Y/N had to bring me and your sister because she didn't want to go alone! Why couldn't this wait?! That is wrong in so many ways! Your father may had worked a lot but he never ever missed anything when it came to it's children and I expect nothing less of you! Now you go apologize to your wife right now!" Eliza screamed at him.
I looked over at Angie but I saw she was laughing into a pillow, I chuckled at her "Angie!"
"I'm sorry! But I just find it funny when mom yells at Philip, I bet his face is priceless!"
I chuckled and slapped her lightly, Philip came down "Y/N..."
"Hey dear." I said
"I'm sorry. I just wanted to finish this so I could spend more time with you two..."
I smiled "it's alright. And the doctor said I am healthy, so is the baby."
He smiled "good."
