Chapter Seven: Shes mine.
- Still Zendaya's P.O.V. - - - - - - - - - -
"Hey, you okay? ," Payton asked me, giving me a worried look.
I looked up at all of them to see everyone looking at me. I gave them a light smile and nodded ," Yeah. Why wouldnt I be?"
To be honest, I wasnt exactly. Eversince this morning, I couldnt take my thoughts off of Lewis. My wolf wanted me to find him and see how he was. Calm him down because we were the only ones who could.
And another thing that bugged me most was.. When I caught sight of Laura on my way to 2nd block, she smiled at me. An actual smile and not the usual sneer or glare I would get. Which shocked me big time, and im still a bit confused as to why.
Logan smirked and nudged my side ," Aw. Zen misses Chase, doesnt she?" I rolled my eyes at his teasing, but it was true. I had Chase for each class and it was weird with him gone. Hes always cracking up jokes. Even when I was at Luna Academy, it just sucked because my best friend wasnt with me.
But that was only part of the reason I was feeling out of it. Most of it was because my wolf had given up pleading and growling at me for her mate and was now neverendingly whimpering. The other part was because it felt so freaking hot. I was sweating and the lunchroom is air conditioned.
"Shut up, Logan ," I muttered, making him laugh. I rolled my eyes and got up," Im going to the restroom."
At that said, Payton shot up from her seat ," Ill follow you." Which was something I was a bit irritated about too. Chase had specifically told them to watch after me. Logan and Payton had never left my side. Which is a bit annoying and I felt bad because they couldnt enjoy themselves.
"Payton, really. Its okay. I can go by myself. Sit down. Ill be back," I assured her. She was about to protest as I can see it, but she sighed and nodded before sitting back in her seat. I walked out of the lunchroom and headed straight for the restroom.
I went over to the sink after snatching napkins, and made them damp, putting the to my forehead. Why did I feel so hot? I took more napkins and made them wet, wiping my arms and neck. It felt like a fucking sauna.
When I finally got myself to cool down, I threw the napkins away and made sure my make-up was still okay. Running a hand through my hair, I walked over to the restroom door.
I exited the bathroom, heading straight for the lunchroom.
Until I was tugged and pulled into a room. I wanted to let out a scream, but I knew who was the one who pulled me. The tingles said it all.
He locked the door and turned around to face me, smirking that sexy ass smirk of his. "Mate, If I didnt know any better, Id think you were trying to avoid me ," he told me, but I could tell he already knew that was my plan.
I took a step back to put space between us and shrugged ," Good guess." He narrowed his eyes at my movement and took a step forward. "Zendaya, you really shouldnt do that," he warned me, his eyes flicking to black for a short second.
I stopped in my tracks, not just because my back was already pressed up against a wall, but because I remembered that hes a soon-to-be Alpha and im provoking him. But, that didnt stop him from closing the distance between us.
He had his whole body pressed up against mine, the tingles everywhere and down to my core. My wolf purred in satisfaction and my need for him grew ten-fold.
I placed both hands on his muscled chest and pushed as hard as I could, I needed space between us. A big huge space. This wasnt helping my situation.
But honestly, I should have known I cant push him off of me. He was like a fucking statue. My attempts were useless. I remembered the last time we were in this position and I couldnt stop my eyes from dropping to his juicy lips. Oh god, his minty breath just taunted me as they blew onto my lips.
I licked my lower lip, trying to stop my urges. Holy shit, what the hell is wrong with me? I cant let him do this! Ill get attached and ill be a too easy target. Maybe thats why hes doing all of this.
He groaned, his eyes following my tongue as I dampened my lips. His groan made my core pound, aching for him more than I already was. Stupid Hormones! Why did my mate have to be an Alpha? It makes things worse for my case!
His hands trailed my sides, as if memorizing my curves. I bit my lip to stop the moan, but it came out anyway as he grazed my soft spot. And I think that did it for him as lips were roughly crashed onto mine.
As much as I tried to stop myself, my body reacted on its own. Kissing him back. My hands automatically tangled themselves into his raven black hair. His hands gripped onto my thighs and lifted them, making me gasp and wrap my legs around him. My gasp giving him the advantage to plunge his tongue into mine.
I could have sworn I died already.
His hands were right below my butt holding me up. Even how much I yelled at myself to stop, I couldnt. One day without contact was apparently too much for the both of us.
He tasted so good. So minty and.. I moaned as his hands grazed my ass, a fire running through my body. At my moan, I felt his buddy arise and poke at my core. I could have laughed, but I was too busy. I tugged onto his hair, his response was a groan and I smiled against his lips.
"Holy shit! Zendaya!," A feminine voice screamed, and I was sure that didnt come from Lewis.
I blinked, only to freak out. I wasnt in the classroom with Lewis. Payton was over me, freaking out at me. That was when I felt a major headache, those headaches where a bunch of thoughts rush into my mind. And it only got worse as a pain pounded on the right side of my head.
Only then, I noticed I was on the restroom floor.
"Zen, are you okay? Holy fuck, Chase is going to kill me. Alpha Smith is going to kill me. Oh my god, please tell me your alright?!," she ranted.
I sighed in relief as the major headache disappeared and my head seemed to be cleared with just my thoughts. I brought a hand up to where the pain was, only to flinch as I cupped it. I looked around and sighed sadly. I probably just fainted and hit my head on the sink. What was weird was I was sad because what I apparently had dreamed of wasnt true.
Wait, What am I talking about? Im glad it wasnt true.
Liar, my wolf taunted.
Oh, you be quiet, I told her.
I blocked her off and came back to where Payton was freaking out still.
"-Shouldnt have let you go by yourself! This is all my fault. Are you okay? Did you hit your head? Oh no, you hit your head. Oh shit. Im so fucking dead! Their going to kill me. Or maybe Ill get kicked out of the pack and they turn me rogue. Oh no. Im so stupid. I shouldnt have left you alone! Now, look at-," she ranted on without geting a breath, and I cut her off.
"Payton, shut up. Im fine," I told her. Starting to sit up. She immediately shut up and helped me sit upright. I flinched at the pain that was still pounding, but it was getting better by the minute. It will be completely gone by an hour. Maybe in 20 minutes.
"Dont tell anyone about this, okay? Especially Chase, or my brothers. Actually, dont tell anyone at all," I ordered her. She looked like she was about to protest, but at that second the door bursted open.
Lewis immediately saw me and was at my side in an instant. "What happened?," he asked, worried, angry, and.. scared to death? Why?
He lifted me up, bridal style, as If I didnt weigh anything and placed me on the counter beside the sinks. That aching need returning, but this time.. it felt real.
I pushed his hands away from me, immediately regretting it as I saw the pained look on his face. "Im okay. Really. You guys are fussing over nothing."
"Are you hurt?," he asked, scanning me himself. I growled irritably, not because of him but because of the fact that my body wanted more of him. My wolf practically begging me to jump him right now. "I said im fine, Mate," I growled, but it softened as I looked into his worried eyes.
Hes really worried about me? No, He just has really really good acting skills, I tried to convince myself.
He was about to reply until Payton gasped. Both our heads snapped over to her and she was looking between Lewis and I, wide eyed. Shit. No one was supposed to know.
"Y-Y-You-Your M-Mates?!," she exclaimed. I sighed and just wanted something to happen so I could just deal with her later. Faint or something.
And she did. I felt my eyes go wide for a second. She actually fainted! I didnt even mean to..
My mate didnt move to check on her, but assured me ," Shes okay. Shes breathing." I rolled my eyes, but felt my cheeks heat up as I noticed our position. He was standing between my legs, holding onto my waist. This was so not good. My body was already humming from the contact and from my wack dream, the fire that burned through me didnt fully die down and this only added to it.
He smirked as he raised his hand, to carress my cheek, trailing his fingers down my neck and to my shoulder to play with the collar of my shirt. I involuntarily shivered and if possible, his sexy ass smirk grew.
"You know, mate.. Your thoughts are so interesting. Its nice to know you.. dream of me," he said mockingly. My breath caught in my throat. Oh god. This is embarrassing.
I pushed his hand off of me, cursing mentally as I missed his touch and his face flinched a little. But that damn smirk didnt leave though. "Cant say the same for you," I snapped. Which was sort of true. Yesterday I dreamnt of this sexy idiot and wanted to cry because it wasnt real.. Just like my dream earlier. Whoa... So not going there.
Shit. Im getting too soft. Too vulnerable. This isnt good!
I hopped down the sink, almost jumping Lewis in the process as my whole body rubbed against his. I forgot what I was supposed to do as he growled hungrily and I didnt waste time to kiss him back as he kissed me roughly. His hands roamed my sides eagerly, his hands digging into my sides.
I gasped as I felt him plunge his tongue into my mouth, not asking for entrance, but oddly, I found it hot. I clawed my hands deep into his back, matching the same force and power as his own.
He groaned into my mouth and I somehow ended back up onto the sink. I pulled him closer, not wanting to seperate us even though there was no space between us to close. His hands wound up in my hair, pulling me closer to him, also him trying to bring us closer.
Maybe I want him as my mate..
- Lewis's P.O.V. - - - - - - - - - -
Finally.
Okay, maybe im overreacting. But, im allowed to. My wolf driven me close to insanity enough as it is wanting to find her since my talk with my sister. Lunch didnt help either. How she up and left. But with my heightened hearing, I heard she was just going to the restroom. That Payton girl, following after my mate after a few minutes.
Then, having her thoughts shoved into my head. I needed her. But, I felt the pain behind it, and my wolf pushed me to check on our mate. When I found her on the floor, I almost couldnt hold my wolf down from ripping Payton's head off for touching her. But gladly, she was fine. Then feeling her body brushed against mine..
I couldnt help myself.
I clutched onto her, wanting her more than ever. And by how forceful she kissed me, im sure she wanted me just the same. A day was all too long for me. Ever since that day that she wanted to leave me to look for Chase. Since then, my wolf has been on my case to claim her.
I couldnt wait anymore. I cant wait another 8 hours to go through with my plan. She was mine. Why wait?
I didnt even bother to ask her for entrance, I deepened our kiss, tasting her candy sweet lips.
Her hands digged into my back, but it wasnt at all painful. In fact, it spiked my need for her. My canines already stinging, and I couldnt think about anything other than sinking my teeth into the delicate flesh of her neck.
I tangled my hands into her hair, ready to stake my claim and mark her as mine. I opened my eyes to find hers green eyes open and staring into mine. It stopped me for a moment, and I guess it was enough for her to push me away from her.
I stumbled back a few steps before watching my mate jump down onto her two feet and look up at me with her green eyes. The same green ones that were electrifying and.. glowing.
She swiftly moved over to Payton and lifted her, dragging both of them out of the restroom. During the whole time watching her struggle with Payton's weight, I couldnt get myself to move out of my spot. My wolf was silent for a first, and all of my limbs seemed frozen. I couldnt move.
Once she was out of sight, I gained control of my limbs. But instantly collapsed and fell to my knees.
I felt so.. tired. Drained. That wasnt until I noticed these emotions werent mine. They were my mates.
At this point, I had so much questions. And none of the answers fit. Why my mates eyes glowed that way, Why I felt controlled. Why I didnt just mark my mate. I had her, and I missed my chance. AGAIN.
Shes scared to fall inlove. Shes scared to be mated. She doesnt want to be hurt and she'll do anything not to be.
What has my little mate been through? Why is she so.. confused with me? I know she wants us. I felt the passion she already had. But why was she always collecting herself at the last minute and fleeing from me?
Theres alot more to her than you know.
I wonder what Laura meant. But one things for sure, my mate isnt ordinary. Shes unique, pure, and one of a kind. And no one else can have her, before I do.
Shes mine.
