(Reader's point of view)
It has been 5 years since I started to look like my father. So far it has kept my mother's stupid suitors away. She still isn't happy about my decision to cross dress. I love my father, and I really want to be just like him. I still want to. But, I wish I could take back what I said to him before he left.
"(Y/N), I need to talk to you." My father, Ciel, said.
"Yes father?"
"(Y/N), your mother and I have been talking.."
"Yeah?..."
"We both think it is time for you to start acting more like a lady and less like a gentleman-"
"No! I will not get married to any of her idiotic friends sons. They just have two things on their minds! 1. Power from the company 2. Sex!"
"Darling, I know you don't want to, but your mother and I are not going to be around forever-"
"Then Die!"
I ran away after I said that. I was in tears. He wanted me to get married to 'them'. Just when I was about to leave the manor to go to the garden I ran into my father's butler, Sebastian.
"Lady (Y/N)? Why are you crying?" Sebastian asked.
"It's not important. Sebastian, can I ask you a question?"
"Of course my lady."
"If I can't find a husband that suits the company's needs, can you help me find a way for me to run the company on my own?"
"My lady, I cannot lie to you, you are old enough to make your own decisions, but you need to find yourself a loving husband who cares for you, and treats you like the lady you are."
"Sebastian, I wish I could find someone, but I have to marry a Lord and all the ones I met only want money. The main reason I chose to dress like my father is so I can find a man who will treat me as me, not a mindless bride."
"My lady, you have already found a man who already treats you like you want them too."
"Oh really, who?"
I scoffed at the statment Sebastian made. No one will ever find me attractive.
"(Y/N)!!!! Your father he's been shot!" My mother said to me.
"What!? But how!"
"An Assassin got to him."
"No... why did I say that to him.."
Its all my fault he's dead. I shouldn't had told him to die. I swear on my family name, I will make this company more of a success.
I still kept that promise.
