A thin layer of sweat covered Alethea's forehead. She looked over the healer from azgeda who had held the small baby girl in his arms. Alethea looked away from him as she didn't want to get too close to her daughter as she had been born with the blood of the commander.
In just four days, Queen Nia would be arriving at their house to take the newborn baby girl and to kill her as she felt she was a threat to her. The healer had walked over to Alethea to put her daughter into her arms. He had walked out the tent to give her some time to tell her goodbye's even though she didn't want to get too attached to her. Alethea looked down at the bright new eyed baby girl, Aletha looked at her daughter a few more moments as she looked down at her.

Alethea called in the healer into the tent. Alethea nodded to say that it was time for him to take her daughter. The pain of knowing her daughter would grow up without knowing her real background. Alethea knew that she would be safer, she couldn't bare the thought of her killing a child who did nothing to her because she was born with the blood.
