A rejected mate is an outcast so it isn't a crime to go for that mate in the Vamp-law. The laws of mates according to Vamp-law states that, in a coven or in the vampire society, no one's mate is supposed to have anything intimate or any relationship with another coven brother or vampire's mate. This is because we believe in mates being a natural match chosen by nature to maintain bloodline mostly and they are bonded because they have a similar horoscope in every sacred way possible.So taking someone's mate is described as an incest since you are related through the bond with your coven member's mate. Like how human families will see someone as a family after getting married to their relative. It'll be an abomination if one's mate is taken by the other as every vampire is entitled to an individual mate or a life partner so there was no point in going for that of another person mate except for greed being the only reason
We don't practice polygamy
And the mate bond is sealed in such a way that you will only feel something for your own mate and have no taste another person after your bond
So basically it means you will only go for another person to satisfy your own desires such as lusts or if your mate rejected you , you will probably need someone to get your mind off things.
I understand Luna in this case
However, I didn't understand Taehyung's reason for going for her
Firstly, since he hasn't been rejected by his mate and secondly I somehow get him since he hadn't felt the gravity of a mate bond by meeting his mate yet
That is why he's able to go around doing whatever he wants with other women
Because he hasn't experienced the gravity of his bond

" No one protects what they hate and Tae is not stupid. He appears, to have no sense but in actual fact he does. I'm sure he's doing all these for a good reason and specifically for Jungkook's benefit "
They were convinced and nodded at my words
"He's right guys" Jin hyung spoke after sighing
"Why don't we give him a chance and trust him on this "
"Exactly hyung, we should just be the seconders for now and watch it unfold "
I grinned and stood up
"Aaaaaah, this night suddenly feels so good~~~" I stretched myself with a yawn as I walked upstairs, ignoring their confused glances at me

That day, I noticed something about Taehyung. It was strange for him to address his mate as an 'unfaithful bitc', when he hadn't met her. The second reason why I let Taehyung go was this, I was right, he had found his mate and it was Pia.
He got rejected because of Jungkook so he planned to pay back by using Luna.
Aaaah, what a complete puzzle.
I only found out who it was yesterday, when Taehyung reported himself of being with Pia after she begged him to take her away. It was when I knew the name of who it was.

My train of thought got interrupted by a certain entrance. Leaning foward, I watch as Jin emerged from behind the door, an exhausted look on his face.
He sighed and dropped himself lazily on the swivel chair. Heaving a heavy sigh, he threw his head back and squeezed his eyes shut .

I decided to begin the conversation. He snapped his eyes and sat up right, placing his hands on the desk.

I furrowed my eye brows at him
"Why do you seem so relaxed when the kid hasn't returned home since yesterday? "
This time I sighed.

I knew I was being a jerk at the moment but it was important for us to allow him be, at least for the time being. He will come around, he's going to walk here in one piece and by then, hopefully, we can all make him forgive us.

Seeing my expression, he stopped , laughing as took a step forward. I stumbled back, trying too get away. He smirked and continued to step towards me. I repeated the same action until I hit a hard surface

Ok so he is pinning me against the wall. Truth to be told, his musky scent filled my whole senses and his breath was hitting my nose and my lips. Our faces are just inches apart.

Shaking my head, I looked bck at his eyes which held some sort of tease in it. He was amused and my heart kept thumping loudly against my ribcage wasn't helping either.
Leaning closer, our noses touched as he trapped me with his arms on both sides of my head against the wall.
