"You think she'll have a threesome with me?" Ro looked at me, talking about the receptionist.
"Rodell why are you like this?" I blinked.
"She look like she a big ole' freak no cap." He thumped me.
"Bet you can't pull her though." I mushed his head.
"Why I can't?" He looked at me.
"I just feel in my bones." I shrugged, unlocking my phone.
He didn't respond back, he just stood up and walked over to the desk. I shook my head, and leaned back. We were at the hospital waiting on Saint and Kaliyah to come back.
I looked over and seen Rah, leaning back, on his phone.
Stupid ass nigga.
Sometimes I wish we would've actually worked out, but at the same time it is what it is. Shit happens for a reason.
"I'll shoot yo ass, stop staring at me." He mugged.
"Bitch fuck you, the fuck." I mugged him.
"If you miss me then say that." He shrugged.
"Well I don't." I looked back at the desk.
"Its ok, you ain't gone find a nigga better than me." He chuckled.
"No, YOU ain't gone find a bitch better than ME," I made a face, "Matterafact, I actually hope you do."
"Fuck you—"
"I thought someone who said I couldn't get her number said something." Ro mushed me, sitting back down.
"Boy you ain't have to touch me tho, what she say?" I chuckled, shaking my head.
"We going out tonight."
"That was fast," I blinked, looking back at the desk, "Do she even know your name and favorite color?"
"Nope, that doesn't even matter." He waved me off, "What's taking these muhfuckas so long?"
Azura had to go back for another emergency surgery this morning, and we still haven't heard anything yet.
As far as Kyaire, they were able to remove the two bullets out his arm. However, they were still trying to remove the bullet from his neck, and they discovered another one in his back.
They told us that it, didn't necessarily hit anything important; but it was pretty close and any wrong movement can send him into shock. Which can either cause him to be paralyzed or even kill him.
This whole situation just didn't sit right with me at all. It felt like a set up, and I just know them airhead ass hoes had something to do with it. Of course, we haven't seen they hoe asses since the day before all this happened.
"How are they doing?" Mama A walked in, with Ameer, Saint, and Kaliyah behind her.
"Azura had to get another surgery this morning." Rah said.
"What? Have they told y'all anything?" She asked.
"Not yet, still waiting." Ro said.
"How is Kyaire?" She shook her head, sitting down.
"He's still in surgery. He was hit in the neck and they found another one in his back. So they're trying to be careful because if they move it the wrong way it can paralyze him or kill him." I told her.
"Wow, who the hell would do something like this to them?" She made a face, and her legs kept shaking.
Niggas just don't know, they finna bring the hood in Mama A back out.
I looked over and seen Ameer leaning back with his fist balled up. His eyes were dark, and his facial expression was cold. I hope he don't try to do no stupid shit that'll send him back to jail.
I shook my head, cause I know right now everybody was just ready to act off of impulse.
"It had to be a set up forsure," Saint shook his head, "them broads Imani and Amber had to have something to do with this."
"Who?" Ameer asked.
"Some dumb ass hoes." Ro made a face.
"Ma." I stood up, sitting next to her.
"Your mother should be here later. She had to get a later flight," She looked at me, wiping my face, "How you feeling?"
"I'm hurt, thats my best friend, and I just don't know. I'm trying to stay strong cause I know we're all hurting right now, but I still have faith for Azura and Kyaire. They're strong, I just know they gone pull through." I shook my head, trying to close my eyes to fight the tears.
"I know, we gotta keep our faith. Every thing is gonna be alright." She sighed, rubbing my back.
"She- She lost the baby." I looked at her.
"She lost the baby? She was pregnant?" She said, and her whole mood shifted.
"My sister lost a baby?" Ameer looked over at us.
"Yeah, the doctor said the bullet sent the baby into stress. She got shot in her lower stomach." Kaliyah spoke up.
"She didn't know she was pregnant either." I shook my head.
"What the fuck?" Ameer made a face.
"Where the hell are the doctors?" Mama A shook her head, wiping her face.
Not too long after, Saint, Rah, and Ro stood up, and left out. Shortly after, Ameer stood up, leaving out as well. I looked at Kaliyah, and she looked at me and shrugged.
Mama A didn't say anything, she just sat back with this lost look on her face. I know Mama A been through so much growing up, from her being in and out of foster homes; and she is so strong.
I just hope she doesn't lose her faith, and go into depression or some shit.
"Family of Kyaire Davis." The doctor stood in the room.
Mama A, Kaliyah, and I stood up and walked up to her. I didn't know what to expect, I just pray we hear all good news.
"As you know, the patient was shot five times. Twice in the arm, once in the chest, neck, and back." She started.
"Did everything go well?" Mama A asked, growing impatient.
"We did successfully, remove the bullets from his arms, chest, and neck. However, we are still working on the one in his back. We're doing everything we can to make sure it doesn't shift and hit his spine, because its pretty close." She nodded.
"Thanks doc, so when do you think it'll be done?" Kaliyah asked.
"Hopefully within the next two hours, I just wanted to give you guys an update." She nodded.
"Thank you," Mama A nodded, "How is Azura James?"
"She's fine, I was actually just checking on her. She just got out of surgery, and can take visitors in about 20 minutes. They're making sure she's all settled." She nodded.
"Thank God." Mama A sighed in relief.
The doctor smiled, walking away. We went back to sit down, waiting until they tell us we can go visit my bestie.

"Azura you fucking scared me!" I smiled, seeing her.
"Autumn, that damn mouth of yours." Mama A shook her head, thumping me.
"Ma, you just cussed." I shook my head.
"Hey best." She lightly chuckled, sitting back.
"How are you feeling?" Mama A asked her, moving her hair out her face.
"Hurting physically and emotionally." She sighed, "Hey baby mama."
"Hey babes, I'm so glad you're okay." Kaliyah gave her a small hug.
"How is Kyaire?" She looked up, "Please tell me he made it."
"So far he is doing okay, he's still in surgery." Mama A nodded.
"I hope he's going to be so happy when he wake up." She slightly smiled, grabbing some papers.
"Happy?" I looked at her.
"Yeah, he been pressing this for so long." She looked at us.
"What?" Kaliyah looked at her, confused.
"Well from the looks of it, I'm pregnant." She gave a small smile.
"Wayment," I shook my head, "The baby is okay?"
"Uh yeah, after my surgery they let me hear a heartbeat." She made a face, "How do you know?"
"Azura baby, she told us that the baby didn't make it." I told her.
"Yeah sadly—" She looked down.
"Are you going through—"
"I think she's having a moment." I whispered to Mama A.
"No, I'm not going through anything. I did lose a baby, but the other one is fine." She said with no emotion.
"The other one? So twins?" Kaliyah asked.
"Well not anymore," Azura made a face, "I lost one from the hit in my abdomen."
"Oh wow, so this is a miracle baby?" Mama A looked at her.
"Yeah, I hope so. I'm kinda excited." She smiled, looking at the tv.
We didn't say anything, we just sat there and let her watch whatever movie she had playing on tv. I took out my phone and texted Ro.
