Rixon was holding the ball with his left hand while the other was interlocked with mine. Nasa unahan ang mga kapatid niya at si Pietro, naglalakad at nag-uusap. Sinadya naming magpaiwan nang kaunti dahil kanina pa kami nag-uusap tungkol sa pag-uwi ko kay Daddy.
"I thought sabay tayong ga-graduate. We promised each other," aniya.
"Sabay naman...hindi lang magkasama," sagot ko naman.
He hissed and looked down on our intertwined fingers.
"Don't worry. We still have till next year before I leave. Mahaba-habang panahon pa naman tayong magsasama. So let's make the most out of it," I added.
Nilipat niya ang kamay niya sa balikat ko para bahagya akong mayakap. I felt his kiss on top of my head after.
Umabot kami sa labas ng bahay ng mga Montero nang nakaakbay pa rin si Rixon sa akin. Hindi kami pumasok agad kahit kanina pa nakapasok ang mga kapatid niya.
"What?" I asked when I noticed him staring at me for a while now.
"Nothing. Naisip ko lang kung anong mga pwedeng gawin bago ka umalis," aniya.
Napaisip din ako bigla. I pursed my lips to the side to think.
"Payagan kaya tayo magbakasyon nang tayo lang?" suhestiyon ko.
"Just us?" he asked. I nodded. "I don't think so. Tita might not allow it."
"Try lang natin. By the end of the school year next year. Hindi naman this year," sabi ko pa.
"Saan naman gusto mo?" tanong niya sa'kin.
"Samal."
"Doon pa rin? Gusto mong bumalik?"
Tumango ako at ngumiti. "For our second anniversary? Yes."
Napatingin siya sa gilid habang iniisip ang sinabi ko. Nang tumango siya ay mas lumapad ang ngisi ko.
"I'll try to consult Tita about it," sabi niya.
I giggled in excitement and hugged his body after. Muli siyang nag-iwan ng halik sa ibabaw ng ulo ko.
"Tara na nga..." sabi ko bago kumalas ng yakap sa kanya. "Gutom na 'ko. Let's eat meat in the kitchen."
Bahagya kong hinila ang kamay niya pero nagtaka ako nang gulat ang mga mukha nitong nakatingin sa'kin.
"A-Anong let's eat me in the kitchen?"
My mouth circled.
"Tang---hindi lang bibig madumi sa'yo, Mave Rixon! Pati tenga mo na rin!" Marahan kong hinampas ang braso niya.
"That's what I really heard."
"Meat! Sabi ko meat! I'm talking 'bout meat balls!"
Muli na namang namilog ang mga mata niya kaya napakunot lalo ang kilay ko.
"B-Balls?"
Mariin akong napapikit at tinulak siya palayo sa'kin.
"Tangina, Rixon. Ewan ko sa'yo!" puna ko bago siya iwan roon sa labas, natatawa.
I have never imagined my life here in the Philippines to become this easy if it wasn't for him. Akala ko'y isang buwan pa lang ay hindi ko na kakayanin ang manatili rito. Aside from being away from home and being distant with dad, I couldn't keep up with the discordance between me and mommy.
Pakiramdam ko ay siya ang kontrabida sa mga bagay na gusto kong gawin. But since I met Rixon, who's undeniably a very family-oriented person, I got it through.
He taught me things that have never crossed my knowledge before. He made me love my mom more. He made me see the importance of family. He made me understand the other side of every story. He brings out the best in me.
I just couldn't imagine the girl that I was before I met him. Ngayon ko lang narealize kung gaano naii-stress si Mommy sa akin noon.
No wonder why my mother likes him so much for me. He made me grow.
It wasn't that hard to convince him to let me go back to the States. Although, at first, he was hesitant too, he still agreed at the end. Not because he couldn't do anything to stop it, but because he also thought it would be good for us, too.
"Don't think about me for now. I can endure distance. I can wait. Just focus on everything that you need to accomplish. Dreams before us, remember?" That's what he always tells me.
It's one of the things that I love most about him. He's futuristic. He always makes sure that everything he does today will have a beneficial impact in the future. He wants things to work on the right track, as planned.
It was during our second anniversary when we had our last sunset date before I was scheduled to fly back to the States. Ipinagpaalam niya ako kay Mommy na magbabakasyon kami sa Samal kung saan ko siya sinagot noon. Nakiusap na rin siya kay Tito Theodore na sa resthouse nila kami mags-stay.
Mommy entrusted me to him. I know what's weighing inside her mind when it took her a day before she finally decided to allow us to have our own vacation as a couple.
"You know I trust you so much with my Theia, Rixon. And you proved to me a lot of times that I can, indeed, count on you. You're both grown already. So please...I need you two to be responsible enough for your actions and decisions. You know what I mean. You know what's in the back of my head," Mommy advised.
"Yes, Tita," sagot ni Rixon.
Tinignan pa ako ni Mommy at tinaasan ng kilay. Bahagya akong napairap dahil alam ko na ang nasa isip niya.
Bumiyahe agad kami kinabukasan. I only brought few clothes with me since we're only gonna stay there for a night. Uuwi agad kami pagkabukas dahil gabi ang flight namin ni Mommy to States.
Pagkarating namin sa resthouse, nagluto agad si Rixon para sa tanghalian namin habang ako naman nag-aayos sa mga gamit.
"What are you cooking?" tanong ko nang sinundan ko na siya sa kusina matapos magbihis at mag-ayos ng gamit.
"Calamares," he answered and winked.
"Smells good," puri ko at naglakad papunta sa refrigerator.
Napanguso ako nang maalalang resthouse pala ito. Walang taong nakatira kaya walang naka imbak na pagkain sa ref. Hindi na rin kami nagdala pa ng extra dahil uuwi rin naman kami agad bukas.
"Someone's calling," puna ko sabay turo sa phone ni Rixon na nasa counter lang.
"We're on vacation," aniya, iritado.
Napasinghap ako. Ako na lang ang kumuha sa phone niya at sinilip kung sino ang tumatawag.
"Ako na r'yan. Sagutin mo muna coach niyo," tugon ko at binawi ang tongs at strainer sa kamay niya.
Lumabas siya ng kusina pagkasagot ng tawag. Napalunok ako ng malaki nang matunghayan kung paano tumatalsik ang mantika mula sa kawali. Dahan-dahan kong itinuwid ang kamay ko para maabot iyon at magalaw ang niluluto.
"Ah!" mahina kong daing nang pumutok iyon at tumalsik ang ilang mantika sa'kin.
I searched for something that I can use as a shield until my sight caught the pan's stainless cover. I also pulled a chair from the table and stood on it so the splat could at least cover my legs.
I look like an idiot, for sure.
"Oww-shit! Bwisit na pusit!" inis ko na namang reklamo. Nabitawan ko agad ang strainer kaya nahulog ito sa sahig.
Nayakap ko ang kamay kong natalsikan habang hindi pa rin bumababa mula sa ibabaw ng silya.
"Babe, what the hell? Ba't ka nakapatong d'yan?" pagmamadaling dalo ni Rixon at pinulot ang nahulog na strainer.
"Bakit kapag ikaw gumagalaw ay hindi tumatalsik. 'Pag sa'kin, tumatalsik!" iritado kong sumbong.
"Get down here, you silly," pagsaway niya sa'kin bago niya inilibot ang braso sa bewang ko at walang kahirap-hirap akong binuhat pababa.
Kinuha niya sa akin ang tongs at walang takot na nilabanan ang mga mantikang tumatalsik papunta sa kanya. How is it so easy for him?
"I hate frying," I mumbled and crossed my arms while still standing behind him.
"Paano na lang kung mag-asawa na tayo? Sinong magluluto ng kakainin natin?" pagyawit niya habang abala sa pagluluto.
"Edi ikaw," mahina ko pang sagot habang sinusulyapan nang palihim ang kawali.
"What? I'm gonna work for us so I can't be at home all the time."
"Magtatrabaho rin ako, 'no."
"You'll take care of our kids, Theia."
"Kids..." I chuckled unconsciously. "Wait, kids?!"
"What's wrong? Do'n din naman tayo pupunta, ah?" Humarap siya sa'kin nang matapos mahain lahat ng calamares.
"Ah basta! Ayaw kong magprito. Ipaglaba mo na 'ko o ipaglinis, basta ayaw kong magprito. Kahit ako pa magpropose sa'yo. Huwag mo lang akong ipagprito," sunod-sunod kong yawyaw.
Sumandal siya sa lamesa at inabot ang kamay ko bago ako hinila palapit sa kanya.
"Ang laki ng galit mo sa pagpiprito, inano ka ba ng mga pusit?" natatawa niyang tanong habang sinusundan ang tingin ko sa inilapag niyang putahe sa mesa.
Bahagya ko na lang siyang sinimangutan bago umupo sa kaharap niyang silya. Nagsalin siya ng kanin sa pinggan ko habang pumipili naman ako sa niluto niya.
His calamares tastes so good. Ni hindi na ako nakapagsalita nang magsimula na kaming kumain. He was saying something but I didn't pay attention that much. Tumatango-tango lang ako kahit hindi ko naman gets.
We spent the whole afternoon walking around the area. We took photos for as much as our battery could take. Ito na ang huli naming bakasyon bago ako aalis kaya sinigurado naming magiging memorable ito.
Summer has always been special to me and Rixon. We shared so many special moments together in it. And it became our favorite season of the year.
Like what we always do, we watched the sunset together. Naglapag kami ng mat sa baybayin sa labas ng resthouse. Sakop pa rin ito ng lupa nina Kurt kaya walang ibang tao kundi kami lang.
He became my personal photographer for a while. We took a lot of photos together. Hindi namin sinayang ang ganda ng papalubog na araw sa harapan namin.
"Let's go," biglang bulong niya bago kumalas sa pagkakayakap sa'kin mula sa likuran.
Matapos niyang mahubad ang kanyang sando ay mabilis niyang hinagit ang kamay ko at hinila ako patungo sa dagat.
"Wait, wait! I'll just remove my cover-up. Ayokong mag two-piece pabalik sa resthouse!" pigil ko sa kanya.
Inabot ko ang laylayan ng cover up at agad 'yong hinubad. He was patiently waiting for me, with his arms crossing over his chest, and deep eyes tracing my flanks and curves.
I wore a hot red pair of bikini. I intently picked the color to match his red plain swimming shorts.
I heard him whistle after my body was exposed in front of him.
"Now, that's the view," he said and left a smirk.
I liked the scene I was in. Waves harshly crashing on the shore, the calming breeze of the near-ending summer, the balmy wind caressing our skin, the majestic sunset, and of course...him. Everything was so perfect.
"You know what? Summer reminds me of our relationship," I spoke while moving my hands like a fin underwater.
Magkatabi kaming nakalublob sa tubig na hanggang bewang ko lang, at sabay pinagmamasdan ang papalubog na araw sa harapan.
"Summer? Why?" he asked, sounding curious.
"Because we're free and outgoing. Hindi tayo tulad ng iba na maraming humahadlang. We're open. Both sides are legal. In simple words, we're happy and vibrant. Just like the summer. Aside from that, we are also both wild, upbeat, and...scorching."
He chuckled at my last statement.
"Scorching?" Tuluyan siyang napatawa.
"Yup. Ewan ko nga kung bakit 'di tayo nagliliyab sa tuwing nagtatabi," pagbibiro ko.
"Hmm, sige nga try natin." He pursed his lips before he took my hand and pulled me closer.
"What?" Naguguluhan kong tanong.
"Yakapin mo 'ko."
Bago ko pa iyon ginawa ay inunahan na niya ako. Mahigpit niyang ipinulupot ang mga braso niya sa'kin. Niyakap ko rin naman siya pabalik.
"Nagliliyab na ba tayo?" Natatawa kong tanong habang nasa gitna ng mga bisig niya.
"No. But I like your warmth," he uttered.
"Me too," sagot ko at mas hinigpitan ang pagkakayakap sa kanya.
Sandali kaming nanatiling ganoon habang sinusulit ang pagyakap sa isa't isa. It'll take two years before I could hug him again like this. Damn it. Iniisip ko pa lang ang dalawang taon ay naiiyak na ako. Just the thought of it makes me miss him so much already.
"Happy 31st of the month, babe," bati ko habang hindi umaalis sa yakap niya.
"Happy 2nd anniversary, Tei-tei," he greeted back. I felt his lips behind my ears.
"I'm going to miss you so bad, Rixon."
"I'm gonna miss you too. I'll be waiting for you here. Come back soon, okay? " malambing niya pa ulit na bulong sa tenga ko.
My eyes instantly brimmed with tears. Hindi ko namalayang napahikbi na pala ako kaya agad siyang kumalas sa yakap.
"Don't be in love with someone else, please..." wala sa sarili kong sambit.
Napakalas siya agad sa yakap at dinungaw ako. Nakatagpo ang kilay niya habang tinitignan ako sa mata. He used his other hand to wipe the tears on my face.
"What are you saying?" he asked. "Of course not. I'll only be in love with you. You alone, Altheia."
I sniffed and laughed a bit.
"Sorry. Nadala lang..." sambit ko. Tumawa ulit ako para mawala sa isip niya ang sinabi ko pero nakita kong seryoso pa rin ang mukha niya.
"Tell me what's on your mind. Everything. I want to know everything that's running inside your head right now," aniya sa seryosong tono.
"You want an honest answer?"
Tumango siya agad, hindi inaalis sa akin ang mata.
"I'm...I'm overthinking that you might meet someone new and fall in love while I'm not around. Iyan kasi ang sabi nila kapag long-distance ang relasyon. Bihira lang daw kasi ang nagsu-survive..." sumbong ko sa kanya.
"Why would you listen to them?" agarang sabi ni Rixon sa 'kin. "Don't believe them. Hindi naman nila kilala lahat ng tao na sumubok na sa LDR. Let's prove them wrong. Mmkay, baby?"
Malalim akong napahinga bago tumango sa kanya ulit. Niyakap ko siya ulit nang mas mahigpit.
"I've never felt so sure for someone before...until I met you," I said with tears pooling on the side of my eyes.
"The feeling's mutual." He leaned closer to match my gaze before he resumed. "You are pretty much the most certain thing in my life right now, Altheia."
My lips unconsciously plastered a smile after hearing his words. Nanatili akong nakatitig sa mukha niya. I saw the sunset's reflection in his eyes. Nawala lang iyon nang kumisap siya bago unti-unting inilalapit ang mukha sa akin.
I slowly closed my eyes to anticipate his kiss. He brushed his lips against mine in the softest way possible. It felt so good. It felt so right to be kissed by him.
I gripped on his nape to respond to him with the same intensity. That soft and gentle kiss...suddenly became intimate and deeply passionate.
I used his shoulders as my support against the waves. I was starting to get annoyed by those. Sa bawat suwabeng hampas niyon sa amin ay tinatangay kami palayo sa isa't isa.
Rixon groaned. He coiled my arms around his neck before his powerful hands scooped my butt underwater. Ang pagkarga niya sa akin ay naging madali lang dahil sa tubig na nakapaligid. Agad kong ipinulupot ang mga binti ko sa kanyang bewang bago siya naglakad ng dahan-dahan papunta sa isang malaking bato na malapit lang sa amin.
He leaned his back against the rock while I was still straddling on his waist. I could picture us out from a distance with this position. Him, bend-sitting, and reclining on the rock while I'm sitting on his lap with my arms looping around his neck.
"Comfortable now?" he asked, with his half-opened lips.
"Yes," I answered and bit my lower lip.
After getting enough air, we kissed again... deeply, intimately, fiercely. I moaned softly when I felt his tongue inside. Mas nagdulot iyon ng init sa nararamdaman namin. Init na patuloy na tinatalo ang pagpipigil na natitira sa amin.
While our lips were busy with each other, I suddenly felt his hands behind me, unknotting the only garment clad on my chest and holding my pair of peaks.
Since I was wearing a triangle bikini top, naiwang nakatali ang leeg dahilan para lumutang ito sa pagitan namin. Napatigil ako sa paghalik at napatingin sa nakalutang kong bikini top, habang nakakabit pa rin sa aking leeg.
"P-Put it bac-" I was caught off guard when his other hand grasped the other peak and moved like a snail's pace kneading a dough.
Muling hinanap ng labi niya ang akin kaya agad natakpan ang dapat sana'y pagdaing ko. I felt a foreign energy mounting within me. The heat from his hand and lips seem to wander around every vein in my system. That flame became stronger when his other hand went down my thighs.
"Rixon..." I tried to stop him but it sounded wrong.
I could feel us scorching. It was just a joke earlier. I didn't know it would actually happen!
I almost lost the only sanity left with me when his hand started doing a caress underneath me. He did that while his lips were still busy with mine. I cursed so hard in my head.
Bumaba ang kanyang halik sa aking leeg kaya napakapit ako sa buhok niya. His hands in between my thighs, the other hand on my knoll, and his lips on my neck, were all giving me a whole new kind of pleasurable sensation.
"Rixon..." I uttered his name, trying to get his attention.
"Hmm?" He mumbled in the middle of his business.
"T-Take me..." I said.
Napahinto siya sa ginagawa sa aking leeg at napatingala sa'kin. Ang kanyang kamay sa ibaba ay nandoon pa rin pero napahinto rin sa paggalaw.
"What? Theia---"
"Please... I'm giving you my consent," muling paki-usap ko. "Take me here...under the sunset."
I was struggling in talking normally but it was so damn hard when his hand's still underneath me. At kahit hindi na ito gumagalaw ay nahihisterya pa rin ang kalooban ko.
"Fuck--"
"Y-Yes, that..."
"W-What? Damn baby, I was just cursing," gulat na aniya.
I slid my hips towards his. I felt the hard bulk under.
"Damn it, Altheia!" puno ng pagpipigil na sambit niya.
I kissed him again to stop him from talking. Ako naman ngayon ang nagsimula. I did what he did earlier. I pushed my tongue inside and kissed him deeply. He moaned. I could feel him so turned on by the way his hands and lips moved.
My body continued to heat up. I could no longer feel the cold water embracing us and the wind blowing against our skin because of the intense heat building up within me.
Rixon left my lips and ducked a bit to reach my pair of mounds on my chest. Muling lumipad ang mga kamay ko sa balikat niya at bahagya akong napakagat sa labi dahil sa kiliting idinudulot nito.
"Rixon!" sambit ko sa gitna ng pag-ungol.
His pace started moving even faster than before. His fingers down there started playing with my sensitive bud and it drove me crazy. Mas hindi ko naiintindihan ang nararamdaman sa loob. Until after a while...something hot and liquidy gushed out underneath me.
When I felt his hand trying to pull my undies down, I moved a bit so he could freely continue. He then pushed my body closer to him. Naghintay ako sandali at pinagmasdan ang isang kamay niyang may ginagawa sa ilalim namin.
"Babe, you sure you wanna do this?" he asked again.
Tumango ako sa kanya, hindi makapagsalita baka kumurba pa ang boses ko. He took my two hands on his shoulder and moved them around his neck.
"This is gonna hurt a bit. Don't take your eyes off me," he commanded.
I nodded submissively again.
"I love you, Tei-Tei," he uttered before he kissed my lips softly this time.
"I love y---Ah!"
I shut my eyes firmly in pain after he pushed it inside. A tear dripped from my eyes unconsciously. I felt like something inside was shattered.
"I'm sorry..." he whispered behind my ears
My grip on his nape has tightened, causing my fingernails to pierce on his skin. I couldn't close my mouth completely. It still hurt.
Rixon started claiming my lips once again to stop them from parting. I couldn't kiss him back. The pain from our joint privates was too much that moving my lips with his became tiring.
"Does it hurt so much?" he asked again.
Huminto siya sandali sa paggalaw at pagtulak nang makita ang mga luha sa mata ko. I couldn't utter a word. I just nodded at him. Sandali niyang pinunasan ang luha sa gilid ng mata ko.
"I'll take it slow. Tell me when I need to stop."
I nodded again, panting a bit.
Inilipat niya ang kanyang mga kamay sa bewang ko para suportahan ang bawat pagbayo niya. My grasp on his nape has stiffened as he continued to propel slowly.
Nanginig ang kalamnan ko sa unti-unti niyang pagtulak. I promised to not take my eyes off him while he was doing it, but I couldn't help but shut my eyes.
Was I too tight or was he too huge for me to feel this kind of pain? Or is the first time really this painful? Damn it!
"How is it now?" he asked, panting a bit.
"Good. Bearable," sagot ko.
He chuckled and said, "You're adjusting."
He started moving a bit faster when he noticed I wasn't moaning out of pain already. After a few more thrusts, the pain was mending and I began getting hysterical about it.
The water surrounding us helped in controlling his movement. My body was gently bobbing up and down with his rhythm. I took my right hand off his nape and shifted its grip on the rock behind him for more stable support, as his pace hastened. Ang tubig na nakapaligid sa amin ay nakikisabay sa galaw ng aming katawan kaya naglilikha ito ng maliliit na alon.
The ecstatic feeling of his manhood inside me made me moan in rapture. Alam kong pareho kami ng nararamdaman dahil sa lumalabas na tono sa kanya. He's enjoying it...as I do.
He tightened my grip on my hips when we almost reached the peak. After a few harder and deeper thrusts, he quickly moved my hips away from him. He made sure he didn't leave a single seed inside.
"Oh god..." I muttered after my second release.

"Yeah..." pagod kong sagot habang hinihilig ang ulo sa balikat niya.
Itinali niya pabalik ang bikini top ko. Inangat niya rin muli ang saplot ko sa ibaba bago ko naramdaman ang palad niya na hinahaplos-haplos ang likod ng aking ulo.
"Did I tire you?"
"Kinda..." I answered and chuckled.
"Patay ako kay Tita nito..." He sighed deeply.
Napatawa ako sa reaksyon niya. "I pushed you to do it. It's on me. And it's not like we're going to tell her about this, anyway. She won't know."
"You silly," he said and laughed.
"Labuyo," I answered.
After a few minutes of catching enough air, we decided to head back inside the resthouse since the sun has completely set down. Itiniklop ko ang mga binti ko at umalis sa hita niya pero halos mawalan ako ng balanse dahil sa kirot mula sa ibaba. Napangiwi ako sa hapdi at napansin iyon ni Rixon.
Walang pasabi niya akong ipinangko sa gitna ng mga bisig niya bago nagsimulang maglakad patungo sa dalampasigan.
I was embracing his neck while he carried me to the shore.
"Rix..." I called.
Nagbaba siya ng tingin sa akin habang naglalakad naman ngayon papasok ng resthouse.
"I love you," I added.
He pressed his lips on top of my head again before answering me.
"I love you even more, Altheia."
"Till the last sunset?" I asked, smiling.
"Till the last sunset," he answered.
I moved my grip from his neck down to his body. I hugged him tightly and took in every sound of his heartbeat as he made his way to the bedroom.
"I'll see you in two years," I said again, without raising a glance at him.
"I'll see you in two years," he responded.
