Liliana

The first thing Jonny and I did when we got to Jamaica was throw our stuff in the Airbnb and go for a walk. I was exhausted but Jonny had the energy of a small puppy so he dragged me into the nearest town.

"Oh Ana there's a market. I wonder if it's any classier than the ones we have at home." He dragged me into it, saying hello to all the natives. I just walked comfortably with his arm around me, smiling to myself at how warm it was.

We visited all the stalls, the amount of veg they had was enormous. Jonny obviously had befriended all the stall owners by starting about asking about the products and then slowly but surely moving to their family heritage and how many kids they have.

I left him at the veg stall to look at the one next to it that had bananas hung up around the edges and the biggest watermelons I had ever seen. The woman sat behind it watched me carefully as I glanced my eye at all her produce.

Just as I reached for a lemon, another hand appeared to reach for the same batch. I looked up and saw a face that I thought I would never see again. Our hands jerked back towards us as our eyes met.

"What the-" he looked me up and down as I stared at him with my mouth hung open in shock which I quickly closed when I realised that probably wasn't attractive. We stared at each other until he reached out and poked my arm. "Holy shit you are here" he laughed.

"You are the last person I thought I would see here." I laughed with him.

He looked so good but I couldn't expect anything less. His long hair was pulled back into a bun with a red bandana pushing it back. His shirt and shorts seemed to match his bandana with a red floral pattern going on.

"Same here. Looks like we just can't get away from each other, even on the other side of the world." He flashed me a wide smile and I couldn't help but return it.

"What are you doing here?" I asked. He looked behind him to which I followed his eye sight to see a crowd of people that looked like tourists.

"Working. You?" For some reason I hadn't expected him to say working. I opened my mouth to reply but before I could, a familiar arm threw itself around my shoulder.

"I got us veg." Jonny announced, kissing my cheek. He clearly thought I was being harassed by someone.

"Honeymoon?" Harry wondered but there was a smirk on his face. He had clearly picked up that Jonny was gay.

"Harry this is my friend, Jonny. We're just on holiday." Jonny looked at me with confusion but then took a closer look at who I was talking.

"Sorry I forgot you knew Harry Styles. What is going on?" He laughed which made me smile. I loved that he was never awkward around anyone.

"I'd like to know that myself. Liliana and I keep running into each other." He smiled at me, making me feel very small.

"Ah so that's why she wanted to escape and flee to the other side of the world." Jonny teased. I squeezed his side in appreciation.

"Didn't work though." Harry sang, leaning forward which only got me excited and forced out a small giggle. He looked behind him to the group quickly. "I've got to get back but why don't you both come for dinner at our house tonight." My mouth fell open, my heart was pounding as he stared right into my eyes.

"We'd love to." Jonny replied, drawing Harry's attention away from my eyes and into his but only for a second before returning to hers.

"Great. We're the house at the end of the beach road. It's big and white you can't miss it." He looked as if he was trying to surprise a smile, pushing his lips together which only made his dimples appear prominently.

"We'll see you tonight." Jonny nodded to him. Harry nodded slowly towards me before turning around to go back to his group of friends.

Before I could get caught staring, Jonny linked our arms and spun us around to walk in the opposite direction. I could feel the questions bubbling in his mind as we walked. It was only a matter of time before they started to fall out.

"So how big was your lie when you said you only met Harry Styles at the shop and Heather's wedding?" He started off a lot more calm than I expected.

"That wasn't a lie. Those are the only times I've met him." I nudged him to show him I was telling the truth.

"So why is he looking at you like he's seen you naked." My mouth gasped immediately, pushing him far away but keeping a hold on him. He burst out laughing at my reaction, only making me seem guilty.

"You would be the first person I would tell if I had shagged him, you know that." He nodded, knowing that was true.

"So, why does he look at you like that?" I met his eyes, they were accusatory and suspicious. I hadn't realised he looked at me a certain way.

"You're asking the wrong person." I confessed for I cannot see any reason why he would.

"You must have done something though." He pushed, wanting to know all the details. I don't blame him I would want to as well.

We walked back to our bnb. It was very hot but we never let go of each other's arms.

"We only knew each other from the shop when we met at the wedding but we were put at the singles table so I guess we had to no choice but to talk to each other." I explained as we walked up a hill that would eventually lead to our house.

"That's it? You spoke at a wedding and now he's frothing at the mouth? You're not that witty." He teased. I couldn't help but feel embarrassed, it was like being a school girl after her first kiss. Of course, Jonny was there for that too and teased just the same.

"He's not frothing, you idiot. Leave it alone." I swatted him with my hand and he raised his in defence.

"Alright alright. I guess I'll see for myself tonight at dinner." He wiggled his eyebrows as we reached the door.

I stood in front of the mirror that evening before we were due to leave. All of my clothes were on the floor, I had brought nothing to wear to dinner with Harry. It wasn't an occasion I thought would happen.

It was still warm when we set off. Jonny was looking at me, probably looking for some sort of sign of how I was feeling. I was very nervous and he could probably tell but I tried my best not to let it show.

"Do you reckon all his friends are like Hollywood assholes." He wondered as we set off in search of his house.

"I doubt he'd be so nice if he was surrounded by assholes." I pointed out.

Jonny was practically skipping there as we saw the house in the distance. It was almost dark when we arrived, my heart was thudding. It was definitely the right house, just as he had said it was big and white. He didn't mention just how big it was, basically a mansion.

"You okay?" He asked as we stood at the door. We had been standing for a quick second outside but I was yet to ring the doorbell. "Do you want me to do it?" I nodded quickly and he pressed the button without another thought.

It didn't take a minute for the door to open and for Harry's bright smiling face to appear. His hair was up in a bun, making room for his striking features to come about.

"Hey! I'm so glad you could make it, come on in!" He beamed, making room for us to enter.

The inside was just as magical as the outside. It looked like it had been drowned in polish, everything sparkled. I was bewitched by it's beauty, not hearing Harry and Jonny as they made small talk behind me.

"Ana." Jonny's voice snapped me out of my trance. I spun around to see them both smirking at me.

"We're eating outside, is that alright?" Harry asked.

"Oh, sure." I nodded. I don't know what had overcome me, I was a babbling mess. Harry walked past me, our shoulders brushing slightly as Jonny put his arm around me for comfort.

"Don't worry, you're doing great." He whispered in my ear sarcastically.

As we reached the back door, there was a table full of men. They were all laughing together and looked straight at us as we approached. I wasn't good with a crowd of new people. Thank god Jonny was here.

"Guys, these are my friends Liliana and Jonny. The ones I ran into at the market." He introduced us to the men. "This is Mitch, Tom, Ryan and Tyler." They all waved and seemed friendly enough.

"Nice to meet you" I said as I took my seat next to Mitch, Jonny sitting next to me and Harry sat across from me.

"You've come on a good night. It's tacos." Mitch said to me, making me smile.

"Who's cooking?" I wondered, seeing as all the chairs were taken. Harry suddenly got up from the table, entering the house again.

"Sometimes we hire a chef, sometimes we cook." Mitch shrugged. I looked at Jonny with shock at the mention of a chef. He looked equally as impressed.

"Jonny, Liliana do you like margarita's?" Harry asked, exiting the house with a large jug and two more glasses.

"Do we." Jonny beamed at the sigh of his favourite drink.

"Do you mind if I wash my hands quickly?" I asked him as he stood behind me pouring a drink. Our eyes met and I almost lost my breath.

"Oh yeah of course. There's a sink and soap in the kitchen." Hs smiled kindly and moved backwards so I could proceed.

Part of me wanted to wash my hands but another part of me wanted to see the kitchen while I could. It was quite an open plan so I could see the kitchen as soon as I walked into the house. There were two people putting tacos together, they both gave me warm smiles as I excused myself to wash my hands.

"Smells amazing." I complimented as one of them handed me a dish cloth to dry my hands.

"Do you like them hot?" One chef asked. I looked at the filling they had prepared.

"I like hot sauce drizzled over the top, gives the kick." I gave my input, knowing they would probably ignore it.

"Are you bossing around my chefs?" Harry's voice appeared out of no where. I jumped away from the food, almost tripping over myself enough for him to extend his hand to keep me balanced.

"Sorry." He squinted his eyes suspiciously at me.

"Why are you suddenly nervous around me?" He asked bluntly. I didn't know what to say mostly because I didn't know the answer to it.

"I don't think it's you, it's probably just meeting new people. I'm not very good at it." His shoulders seemed to relax at my answer and suddenly he burst into a smile that made me smile.

"I can't believe you're here." He breathed. My lips fidgeted as I tried to suppress my smile. "It seems the universe has plans for us." He said through the most gorgeous smile. My heart was pounding.

What are you supposed to say that?

"I guess so." I choked out. He seemed satisfied with the conversation and turned to the direction of the door.

"After you." He nodded to it so I silently waddled towards it.

I sat down hastily next to Jonny, my comfort blanket and took a deep breath. He seemed to be the life of the party, everyone wanted to know about him and he answered with so much energy they couldn't help but laugh. Harry took his seat across from me, giving me one last smirk before joining in the conversation.
