I was holding ashia's hand when we arrived at sun's house, may aso kasi sila at sobra kung maka tahol, parati naman kami pumupunta dito pero hindi kami nakikilala ng aso nya.
We texted sun so that she can calm her dog at makapasok na kami, pumasok kami at umupo sa sofa, sun asked as kung anong gusto namin at we just asked for water.
Pumunta kami sa kwarto ni sun at doon kami tumambay, we went here just for tambay lang naman, sun took out his speaker and started to shuffle on her playlists, we went downstairs to cook some food so that we can eat and do what we want to do.
I didn't help them at cooking, umupo lang ako at nanood ng tv, ashia sat with me and asked me how's my vacation, I told her my vacation is going good so far, i asked her about hers pero sabi nya boring daw. Nanunood lang kami ng tv nung nagsimulang maglapag si sun ng pagkain, ashia went to the kitchen and helped sun doing the chores, i waited for them then we started to eat.
Nanuod kami ng movie, it was a filipino movie, a horror one. Ashia spreaded the curtains para madilim yung paligid.
"Bobo! Wag mo nang balikan mamatay ka lang!" Sigaw ni ashia sa tv, it's like she wanna talk to the casts.
"Ehhhh, bagay nga sayo yan!" Tayo ni ashia at akmang titirahin ng tinidor yung tv nina sun, napatingin kami ni sun sa kanya at sabay na tumawa.
After the movie we watched some band gigs and ashia kept on saying na palitan daw, but sun kept on insisting to watch it kasi maganda daw, nakikisabay pa si sun sa music habang patingin tingin kay ashia, inaasar ni sun si ashis, nilabas naman ni ashia yung ipad nya and made her self busy.
"Bat ayaw mong manood? Maganda naman ah" sabi ni sun sabay tawa.
"Oo nga e, ash panoorin mo maganda oh" sabi ko at kinalabit si ashia, we laughed when ashia glared at us and focused her gaze back to her ipad.
"Oy, ikaw zanne? Kumusta?" Sun asked me and ate her nuggets.
"Im okay naman, ikaw ba?" I asked back
"Goods din, kumusta kayo ni ilios" she suddenly asked while serving a food on her plate again.
Tumikhim ako at inubos na yung juice na iniinom ko, ashia and sun looked at me with their judgemental eyes.
"Hindi kami tanga, sabihin mo na kayo na ba?" Ashia said with excitement, kanina lang sya nagiinarte ngayon bigla naman syang nakikichismis.
"Talaga ba ashia? Hindi ka tanga?" Sun said with serious look on her face, i laughed when ashia threw the pillow at sun's face.
"Oh ano na girl? Kayo na ba?" Tanong ulit ni ashia.
I told them na nililigawan na ako ni ilios, they both shouted and that made sun's dog barked. I told them about everything, After ilios kissed my forehead, we stared at each other for a moment, then ilios asked me if he could court me.
Then me and ilios went home around dinner, that made daddy decided to invite ilios for dinner, daddy kept on asking how's tito Dominic doing, and daddy told ilios not to tell tito dominic na he's asking about him. Daddy really liked ilios, one of the reason was because he can see tito Dominic in ilios, dad said during the dinner na Ilios really looked like his father back in the days, ilios smiled and kept on listening to daddy, i looked at ilios and gave him an apologetic smile because Daddy doesn't know that ilios isn't in a good relationship with his dad.
After the dinner, nagpaalam na si ilios na umuwi at hinatid ko sya palabas, he smiled at me and winked when he got inside his car, i even asked him when he already had a girlfriend, and he said na wala pa, that's why he winked at me like a jologs one, last time.
Ilios kept on bringing me out but i always rejected him, i never talked to him through the phone, nagpapabebe pa ako ngayon, kung hindi nya makayanan, it means he's not that into me hehe. Kinukulit ako ni ilios at pilit na isama ako, but i still rejected him, even sod's invitation para maligo ng dagat, hindi ako sumama, they even came to my house pero hindi pa rin ako sumama.
After telling them about me and ilios, we decided to watch a movie again, after a few hours we decided to go home na, sun's parents weren't home yet so we were sad na we have to leave her.
I arrived na sa house around 5:30. I looked around and saw the helpers arranging the house, i asked one of them kung anong meron and sabi nya utos daw ni mommy na palitan yung curtains at arrangements ng furniture sa bahay and we will have a family dinner.
"Hey you, get dressed" zonne told me, i walked towards him at tumabi sa kanya, "anong meron?" Tanong ko sa kanya. "Hindi ko alam, dinner lang daw" zonne said, tumayo na ako at itinapon sa kanya yung dala kong bag. Hinabol nya ako at tumakbo naman ako papuntang kwarto ko, nung isinara ko na yung pinto ng kwarto ko at narinig ko naman na biglang may tumama doon.
Bahagya kong binuksan yung pintuan at nakita ko si zonne hawak yung noo nya, agad akong lumapit sa kanya sabay tawa, tumawa naman sya at nagtawanan kami ng saglit. Hinatid ko sya papuntang kwarto nya at bumalik na ako sa kwarto ko.
I wore my nude dress and put some powder lang on my face, nakaupo ako sa dresser ko habang hinihintay na magcharge yung phone ko, then i heard daddy calling my name, tumakbo na ako pababa and i saw my daddy sitting on the chair sa living room.
"Didn't you invite ilios?" Daddy asked, i looked at him with wide eyes, why would i invite ilios? Umupo na ako sa tabi nya at nagtatakang tumingin sa kanya. "Why would i invite ilios?" I asked daddy then he said na imbitahan si ilios.pumunta na ako sa kwarto ko at tinawagan si ilios, i told him to come and he said na he'll be here in 30 minutes. Bumalik na ako sa ibaba at nakita ko si zonne at daddy na naguusap, lumapit ako sa kanila at umupo sa tabi nila nakita kong pilit tinitignan ni daddy yung bukol sa noo ni zonne at tinatanong sya kung ano yung nangyari doon.
We heard a car stopped outside at tumayo ako agad at pinagbuksan ko ng gate si ilios. Hinintay ko syang makababa at tinitigan sya saglit. he was wearing white button down shirt at black pants with his white shoes. Tumalikod na ako at pumasok sa loob, sumunod na sakin si ilios at pinaupo ko sya sa living area. I went to find daddy and i told him na andito na si ilios, lumiwanag naman yung mukha ni daddy at agad nyang pinuntahan si ilios, maybe he misses tito dominic so much at binibuhos nya yung dinaramdam nya kay ilios. After nilang nagusap lumapit sakin si ilios at tinanong ako kung pwede dawba maki charge, pinahiram ko naman sya ng powerbank.
Dumiretso na kami ni ilios sa hapag at magkatabi kaming umupo, pasulyap sulyap sakin si ilios pero pinapabayaan ko lang sya, then daddy came to the dining na.
"Glad you came, ilios!" Daddy exclaimed,tumango at tumayo naman si ilios at ngumingiti ito.
"Of course, sir" ilios answered politely, nakatingin lang ako kay daddy at si zonne naman nakatingin kay ilios and mommy was smiling at palipat lipat yung tingin samin.
I kinda felt awkward, imagine your suitor is here for a dinner and your family knows nothing, as much as i wanna pull ilios out of here, i couldn't do it, ano na lang iisipin nina daddy? And people will give a comment na naman, i remember when we went out to watch the sunset at sunkist, yung mga taong napapadaan ay tumitingin samin, hindi ko naman maiwasan na tingnan sila pabalik pero sa huli nawala na rin sila sa isip ko.
Daddy kept on discussing about something with ilios, I know ilios can't reach for his food kasi daddy won't stop talking gusto ko man sabihan si daddy na kumain muna but he kept on babbling some stories, and Ilios wont make any single move, kasi i think ayaw nyang isipin ni daddy na he's being disrespectful for doing something while daddy is talking to him.
"What happened to your forehead?" Mom asked out of nowhere, napatingin kami sa kanya at sinundan yung tingin nya, lahat naman kami ay napatingin kay zonne.
I looked at zonne with wide eyes and simply gesturing him to shut his mouth, ayoko naman na ilaglag niya ako dito lalo na't nandito si ilios, nakakahiya. Zonne shook his head and sabi na tumama lang daw sa pader, i exhaled big time and caught ilios looking at me, i raised him a brow and asked him what's he looking at, then he shook his head and chuckled.
After the dinner, i brought ilios to the living room, he sat and looked around.
"I'm sorry, i had to invite you over, that's daddy's request" i told ilios and sat on the other couch.
"No, it's not a problem" he said and stood up, he went to the wall where my baby pictures are. He went to take a closer look, i followed him naman.
"Ikaw ba talaga 'to?" He said while laughing.
"Oo, bat ka natatawa?" Pagtataray ko sa kanya.
He tried to stop his laugh but he bursted out, i just looked at him smiling, yeah yeah, nakakatawa naman talaga yung mukha ko noon
"This was taken during my elementary graduation" i pointed at my picture. "This one on new year's eve, my 10 year old self" i said and told him the deets about the other photos on the cabinet.
After a few hours, ilios decided to go home, i told him na ihahatid ko na sya palabas at ok lang kahit hindi na sya magpaalam kay daddy, but he insisted na magpapaalam daw sya, so we had to go to second floor pa.
Nakapagpaalam na si ilios kay daddy at mommy, then sinamahan ko sya palabas, Nakatayo ako sa harap ng gate namin at bigla naman syang tumigil sa harap ko, i looked at him, nagtataka. Then after a moment i heard him inhaled deeply and reached for my hands.
He held my hands and looked at me, tumingin ako sa mga kamay namin bago tumingin sa kanya, malamig ang gabi kaya naman ramdam na ramdam ko ang lamig, nagkatitigan kami ng ilang sandali at naramdaman ko bumitaw sya sa isang kamay ko, i smiled at him when he half smiled.
Then a few seconds after, may inabot sya bulsa sa nya, that's when i knew he had something for me, he smiled and showed me a small black box. I looked at the box at tumingin sa kanya, the night was cold and perfect, Ilios' is full of surprises, honestly when im with him, i never know what will happen next, it is because he impresses and surprises me always. Nothing about ilios is a Mistake.
"Ano yan?" I asked and staring intently at the box.
Ilios didn't answer me, but he opened the box and it showed me a Moon And Sun necklace. It was a gold necklace, with half of the moon and half of the sun combined together, where in one circle the other half was the moon and the other was the sun.
"Ilios Dom and Zanne Luna" Ilios muttered and then he did the pleasure to put it on for me.
It was already 11 pm in the evening when sun and ashia were communicating in the gc, kakatapos ko lang maligo at tinititigan ko yung necklace ko, hindi ko naman na mapigilan na ngumiti sa kawalan.
Humiga ako sa kama at sinisipag na naman ako, parang gusto ko ulit linisan yung buong kwarto ko,
Inabot ko yung phone ko, at nagbackread sa usapan ni ashia and sun, agad akong napatayo nung nabasa ko yung pangalan ni Damon.

I saw that message it was from 2 hours ago that means around 9 pm. When i saw Damon's name, many questions popped right into my head, why damon? I directly asked them what happened and i told them i knew faith

After that i quickly went to bed at nakatulog na rin right after, i woke up because of the knock on my door, i checked my wall clock and it's 7 am in the morning! I rolled on my bed and tried to sleep again, but another knocked on the door made me stood up.
I checked my face on the mirror then went to the door habang kinukusot yung mata ko, i opened the door and was shocked to see ashia and sun on my face, they were looking at me with a shy face and sighed.
I invited them in at agad naman silang pumasok, buti na lang nqkapaglinis ako kagabi kaya't malinis yung kwarto, i spread the curtains para naman may liwanag sa kwarto.
"Ang usapan, we are the one who will visit ashia diba?" Sabi ko kay sun at humarap sa mirror ko.
"Oo nga, kaso napagisipan namin na mag jogging, chinachat ka namin di ka naman nagrereply" sun explained while sitting on my bed.
"Eh kasi i was sleeping" i said and went closer to the window to check on the weather. " You went on a jogging kahit ulan?" I asked them then went near my bathroom.
"Yes e, nag jogging kami kahit it's raining" ashia mocked me, sun was already laughing when i got inside the bathroom. After my shower, i invited them to eat breakfast and they refused kasi they already ate na daw, so i went downstairs para mag breakfast.
"Ate where's dad and mom?" I asked one of the helpers while eating.
"Nasa Meeting ma'am, ngayon ata yung schedule nila para sa concert daw na yun"
I remember na this coming friday na pala yung La Cría concert exclusively for teens, i should remind sun about this she was badly waiting for this concert.
This concert happens to come every year, usually this is held last week of the spring, at may exclusive dates din para sa mga oldies, teens, childrens and yung sa mga bussinesman dito.
I quickly finished my food and ran upstairs, i saw ashia and sun watching a movie, i told our helper to get some snacks for us at maiinom.
"Sun Sa friday na pala yung Concert" i told sun excitedly. Nilingon naman ako ni sun at masayang ngumiti.
"Oo nga e, hindi na ako makakapaghintay" sun answered, "oh ikaw ba ashia bat parang wala ka nanamang gana?" Sun asked and that made my gaze turned to ashia, she was sitting beside sun with a glass of juice on her hand, at biglang napatingin sa amin.
"Huh? Ang oa mo a, syempre excited na rin ako, maganda lang talaga yung movie e" ashia laughed awkwardly at tumingin sa movie.
"Mas mabuti pa hanap na tayo ng mga damit ngayon" sun exclaimed and directly stood up looking amused. I agree with sun!! This is exciting, a night party on the San vicente's open field! Last year was a blast! Hindi namin napigilan nina Ali magpakalasing dahil sa lahat nag eenjoy. Tsaka you'll make friends there, dahil sa party din kaya marami na akong kakilala.
Ashia looked at us at tiningnan din namin siys, tumayo sya at nakitawa samin, i quickly changed into simple outfit with a joggerpants and white shirt with a sandal and elastic hairbands on my head, we went to a shop were most beautiful clothes were sell and affordable din naman.
Nagikot ikot na kami at naghahanap naman si ashia ng biker shorts at si sun naman ng white tube top. Wala pa akong idea kung anong isusuot ko, so sinukat ko nalang lahat ng nagugustuhan ko, as much as possible you have to wear something you are comfortable with, it's a concert where most teens go wild and sa huli always may splash ng water sa gitna ng concert where you'll get wet and soaked with your clothes on.
Sun bought the white tube top and ashia bought also same with sun, black tube top. Sun helped me looking for clothes, humahanap din si ashia nung nababagay sakin, pero wala kaming mahanap.
"Punta tayo ukay" sun suggested, we directly agreed to her and nabuhayan naman si ashia, we love to go ukay, they're clothes are so fine and mura, we went there without hesitation at nung nakarating kami, agad kaming humanap ng mga damit. I heard sun squeaked and pumunta ako sa kanya.
"Girrrl eto na ata! Makakahanap ako ng jowa dahil dito" sun said at manghang mangha sa dress na hawak nya at itinataas pa ito, her dress was beautiful, so beautiful but ayoko ng masyadong revealing so i looked for more dresses.
"Sun come here" ashia shouted from the other side.
"Oo, bagay yan, hanap ka na lang ng itim na bralette wag yung tube na binili natin kanina, kunin mo na yan" i heard sun explaining to ashia, kahit hindi ako malapit sa kanila dinig na dinig ko yung boses nila, kapag hindi ko sila kilala, aakalain kong may pinagaawayan sila e.
Humanap ako ng humanap until i saw a black leather tube skirt, i asked ashia and sun to help me find a turtleneck longsleeves, nakahanap naman agad si sun, so decided na kami sa susuotin namin, natagalan pa kami sa ukay dahil bumili pa ng tshirts si ashia at pants naman si sun.
After our ukay pumunta kami ng ibang shop para maghanap ng accessories, we're too excited na hindi namin na namamalayan yung pagod namin at pawisan na kami, tawa naman kami ng tawa habang namimili ng mga bibilhin.
I didn't bought a necklace because i was planning to use the one which ilios gave to me, basically the one im wearing today, ashia took the gold necklace with a white pearl and took a gold chokers, then sun bought the simple gold necklace with 3 layers where the first layer happens to be a choker and the second one was a little bit longer from the chocker and the third one was longer among the two, enough to show off the deets of the accessory, we bought bracelets and rings, sun bought like 7 rings for her both hands, and ashia bought one ring with a diamond design, i bought the simple ring that has moon in the middle.
We were laughing and trying to imagine what would we look like on the party after we bought everything that we need, sun kept on checking on her things trying to check if wala rin syang naiwan because we're carrying a lot of paper bags
Ashia stopped and stared on the backless silver tight dress, sun and i followed ashia's gaze and i told ashia na silver suits her, then ashia looked at our faces with a smile on her face, sun even said na hindi sya makakahanap ng jowa kung yun yung gagamitin ni ashia. Then we laughed and went closer to the dress.
Ashia was about to get the dress when we saw another hand pulled the other side of the hanger, sabay sabay kaming napatingin nina ashia and sun sa taong humahablot din sa dress at ayaw naman nitong bitawan ni ashia.
My eyes widened when i saw the person who was holding the other side of the dress, i looked at sun and her face was shocked too, napatingin kami ni sun kay ashia at walang gana itong nakatingin kay faith hawak ang damit.
"Let go, i got it first" ashia said and faith stared at ashia with her fierce eyes.
"Im sorry, you must be mistaken, I got it first" faith said and she even slowly pronounced the I GOT IT FIRST trying to make it clear to ashia and stared at ashia with a teasing smile trying to provoke ashia, ayoko naman na mag away sila dito, siguradong paguusapan kami ng lahat lalo na't si faith yung kaaway dahil kilala sya dito sa san vicente kasi tatay nya is in politics, i looked around and wala naman tao, papalit palit yung tingin ko kina ashia and the girl then i remembered what sun and ashia talked last night.
"Ba't nya pa kukunin yan, eh halata naman na hindi kakasya sa kanya" sun whispered to me. Faith happens to be fat, not that totally fat but she was more than a chubby, and faith is my relative.
"Oh! Zanne! It's you" faith exclaimed and gave me a sweet smile. Tumango ako sa kanya at tinitigan sya, i never knew faith has this kind of side, kilala sya bilang Mabait at sweet girl, everyone in our family likes her and she's the favorite kasi she happens to be this innocent and cute girl. I never liked her since then, but she seems nice to me when everyone's around but i swear kung kami lang dalawa yung maiiwan, she would treat me like she doesn't know me, i even try so hard to get to know her so well, but obvious naman na may tinatago tong babae na to e, and now i witnessed it all.
"Faith, let go, my friend got it first" i said and tried to help ashia pull the dress, at this point alam ko nang ayaw na ni ashia gamitin tong damit para sa party, ayaw nya lang ipaubaya kay faith, all along now i know why she's acting weird.
"Well, zanne, pls tell your friend na i got it first, i think she's deaf" faith said at umirap tsaka hinawakan ng mahigpit yung damit.
"If im deaf, why wouldn't i let go of this dress, seriously are you brain dead or something?" Ashia tried to pull the dress in one force where sun and i made a one step backward, i never knew din na ashia was this scary. "And, you dont have to wear this, obviously this won't fit you" ashia said in a pity voice and she sarcastically laugh.
"Come on, faith. Let go, there's no room for immature persons here" i said and tried to pull the dress and that made faith held the dress very tightly, sa laki nyang yan, siguradong isang hablot nya lang makukuha nya yung dress, i turned around to sun and saw her looking at her nails, i kicked her para mapansin kami and she saw the not so good atmosphere between us with faith.
"Tanga naman nito! Ba't mo pa kasi yan susuotin kung hindi naman kakasya sayo" sun said with high tone staring at faith, then faith looked at her with a raised brow.
Ashia was still holding the dress staring at faith, then faith stared at sun then ashia then at me. I saw her looking sa likod at lumingon ako, there i saw Yiannis talking to sun, pinansin ako ni yiannis at napatingin kay ashia and faith, he turned his gaze and talked to sun where obviously naiinis si sun dahil kay yiannis, yiannis then kept on teasing sun.
"I said let go" faith kept on saying that, gosh bat ba pinagaagawan tong dress na to! Para kaming tanga dito! Ayoko naman na bitawan nalang ni ashia yun, faith is such a brat. Habang nag aagawan yung nasa harap ko, nagbabangayan naman yung sa likod ko, lumingon ako sa likod at nakita kong hinahampas ni yiannis si sun ng mga damit na nasa tabi nya.
"Tara na nga! Ashia zanne alis na tayo dito!" Galit na sigaw ni ashia.
"Yeah you better leave, squatter" faith said and that made me turned around to sun with wide eyes, even ashia, she turned her gaze at sun for a while then back to faith, yiannis was shocked at yung kamay nya ay umaarteng nasa bibig nya na tinatakpan yung 'o' shaped mouth nya ngayon dahil sa pagkabigla. Tumingin si sun kay yiannis at nung nakita nya yung reaksyon nito, biglang lumapit sa amin.
"Kanina pa kayo e!" Sigaw ni sun, oh no. Bigla nyang hinablot yung damit at inabot kay ashia, faith was shocked sa biglang paghablot ni sun at nakatingin lang kami nina ashia, and yiannis.
"Ba't mo ba ipinagpipilit yang sarili mo sa damit na hindi kasya sayo? Kapal ng mukha neto, akala mo kung sinong inosente eh wala naman laman yung utak, papayat ka muna bago ka makipag-agawan kay ashia gago" sun shouted at hinila kami palabas, naiwan si faith sa loob glaring at us, huh good for her.
Nung palabas na kami, yiannis was following us and inaasar si sun, buti na lang hindi sya sinisigawan ni sun. "Wow, paano yun? Paturo naman ma'am" sabi ni yiannis at kinakalabit si sun.
Sabay sabay kaming umuwi at naiwan si yiannis dahil may pupuntahan lang sya, nakita nya lang daw si sun sa labas na nakatingin sa kuko kaya pumasok sya hindi nya kami napansin ni ashia dahil nakatalikod kami.
Nung malayo na kami kay yiannis, lumingon si sun sakanya at tumingin sa harap, murmuring some words with her angry face. Ashia was panting already and i just smiled out of nowhere, literally, these girls are troublemaker but a very good friend.
