Ever since the war between the Fire and Water Nation spread across the world, countless of people cowered in fear for the firebenders, as each Nation decided to strengthen their forces in order not to end the same fate as the water benders did.....
But fate and peace did not last long... as there is greed...their greed for power overgrew the Fire Nation and they once again, mercilessly eradicate all the innocent Wind benders, wiping the Wind Nation existence once and for all...
But little did they know....
Their cruel reign will come to an end, when news arrived...
The kingdom of Fire Nation stood the grand throneroom of the Royal Palace filled with intricate decorations and golden patterns surrounding every pillars as numbers of fire soldiers stood beside the grand door protecting one of their most high ruler, Mistress of the Fire Nation, Agatha.
Sitting on her throneroom as her eyes caught numbers of troops approaching towards her, the General of the Fire Nation removed her helmet and bowed down as respect
"Mistress...we have news..." the General told her as she kept her knees bend on the red carpet, the Mistress told them to stand up in which they followed instantly
"Speak General.." she stated and the General looked up to face her
"We had located witnesess that they saw two Water benders lingering around the Fire Nation..." she trailed off but the Mistress shook her head
"Those petty water benders are no longer my concerns General, my father the once great ruler of the Fire Nation already risked his life for this kind of matter, they are weak, useless and harmless.." she replied in bitter
"Actually...that is not all..." the General replied back as her stern eyes look towards the Mistress, it caught her attention and stood up, the General continued
"Along with the two Water benders, they also had two benders accompany them..... those were Wind benders..."
The Mistress' eyes widened "How can you be so sure that they are Wind Benders?!" Her voice raised in frustration when the guards started to act uncomfortable at this point, her eyes glared with intimidation but the General kept her composure intact, calm and refined
"There were witnesses that these two travelers used the wind techinuque in order to eliminated the theives near the marketplace..." she breathe "commoners said that they are traveling towards the Buddhist temple to rebuild the Wind Nation... as for the water benders, we still do not know their motivations.." the General lowered her head when she suddenly heard a small demeanure chuckle followed with a loud laugh of mockery, the guards flinched in terror
"IMPRUDENT FOOLS!" the Mistress yelled, blood boiled in rage the General quickly turned her head up to see the deadly eyes of the ruler, her body began to glow blue as she spoke "They dare to defy the will of a Queen! I will show them...I will show them how ruthless and no mercy I am to those who do not follow to the law......" she hissed and whipped her head to face the general, her long slender finger pointed towards her
"I ORDER YOU, my faithful General, Coraline..BRING THEM TO ME EITHER alive....OR DEAD.." she finished and the General bowed again
"As you wish.....your grace..." she replied and slowly backing away from the Mistress, the guards followed her as she turned around towards the door, leaving the throneroom with wicked smile on her face
The Mistress sat on her chair once again with a sly smile
"I might as well have fun...and hear their cries for mercy..." she
The door closed as her screams of laughter could be heard.
The four traveled sliently as they walked beside the soiled path towards to one of the passage from the Buddhist Temple, the Mount of Sorrows...
Kubo smacked his companion's head out of nowhere
"WHAT?!" Eggs exclaimed towards the upset Wind bender
"You used your power in front of everyone..." Kubo replied in stoic "you seemed to forget that we are still in the Fire Nation's territory...what are you going to do if someone caught us?"
Eggs rolled his eyes "No one suspects a thing Kubo..and besides during that incident, it was pretty windy they would just going to think that there was a storm coming, plus...I just wanted to give Norman a favor..." He smiled at his Water bender companion
Norman chukled "oh...it's nothing, really..I just wanted to help those poor vendors, I hate how people with such special abilities could abuse there power to those who does not....it's not fair..." he sighed and Eggs nodded in agreement when he nticed the other one kept silent, his eyes stared behind the other water bender
"You heard that Wyborn? Honestly! I haven't seen using your full powers yet..." Eggs raised his brow at him "Norman was having trouble doing the fighting afterall, he needs you too..." he finished but the water bender shook his head
"First of all..I don't like to fight, Eggs...I was born to heal people..." he answered "and also..Norman could handle himself just fine, thank you..."
Eggs scoffed and rolled his eyes "I could sense your power, you know..." he sighed "it's pretty strong..." but Wybue only nodded
He turned his head to face him "I would only use them when I have to...that's it..period." ending the comversation, he quickly whipped his head away as he could hear Eggs groaned and Kubo chuckled at him
"Speaking of fighting...I wonder how Neil is doing?" Norman thought in wonder as he remembered the earth benders that helped them through their journey, Wybie smiled at his companion coyly
"Probably rebuilding their wall again since well..that war happened..." Eggs gritted his teeth as he remembered
"At least they had Winnie to support them.." Kubo smiled but Eggs chortle in laughter
"HA! That woman?!" He asked "She doesn't even care about the war!" when the three stared at him worriedly, he stopped amd thought for a moment "Oh wait...she did trained us all by herself.." he whispered
"Eggs...are you alright?" Norman looked at him confused, he quickly shook his head
"I'm fine Norman..." avoiding their suspicious gaze at him "let's just get this over with.." Eggs trailed off, not noticing that Kubo and Wybie were already smirking at him
"Fine, as what you said Lover boy.." Wyborn called as Kubo grinned, the wind bender ignored their teasing and walked ahead in embarassment
stomping his foot and kicking the rocks on the way, Eggs breathe to clear his mind, when a sudden bright ominous light flew right towards him, his instincts instantly made his body to jolt in backwards and the light exploded into thousands pieces releasing thick clouds of smoke from the area, Eggs coughed just in time his friends went towards him in panic
Norman pulled him "Eggs what's going on?" He asked staring something burning in the ground, he gasped to see the flaking and immensible heat it produces, that includes one thing...
"It's..." Kubo whispered
"Fire..." Wybie finished it off
The sound of a blowing horn made their heads turn towards the sky, as clouds began to parted a sillhoutte of a large airship appeared, more than three, and large flags embroidered with Fire emblem attached to each waving through the air, Kubo glared at the sight, a woman appeared armed with golden straps and crimson red clothing, her dark blue hair was surrounded with sheath helmet, darting her eyes towards the four..
"Looks like you're outnumbered..." she simply said to them and guards suddenly appeared behind her
Norman gritted his teeth and stood on the ground, he yelled
"FIRE NATIONS!!"
The four instantly scattered themselves as soldiers starting to leaping off he airships
Kubo without a doubt instantly released a gush of wind aiming towards the General of the Fire Nation but for a split of second, the strong wind was just about to hit her, she suddenly vanished from her position, the wind landed on the airship destroying the cabin instead and soldiers screamed as it exploded, a menacing laugh they heared as the General appeared in front of them boosting herself with her fire
"Despicable piece of trash.." she hissed below them and finally landed herself towards the ground with great impact leaving the four to step back from too much soil flew towards them, kneeling down her eyes suddenly glared at the water bender, the broken airship crashed behind her "you're mine..." she said as hundreds of soldiers started to attack towards them
Norman scoffed and positioned his hands, ready to send blows at her, he spat "Bring it.."
She quickly flew towards him with great speed, launching the enormous fire ball that she induce, Norman defended himself by producing and gathering the water from the river, turning it into ice, thus, deflecting the enemy's attack
The ice cracked once it come contact with the flames and bursted into pieces falling down on the ground, Norman did not expect to see her approaching as her fists were already preparing to punch him
His eyes widen in surprise
"Too slow weakling!" She exclaimed and knocked Norman at his face, he flew from the impact, bewildered for such a woman like her could strike a person like that with only just by physical attributes
"Norman!" Kubo yelled as he struggle to fend off the soldiers around them, Eggs heard his cries and turned back concentrating his element, he produce a thin wind and pushed the General away from Norman
"Norman! Are you okay?!" Eggs touched his friend's arm as he panted
"I'm okay...I'm fine.." he whispered and turned their heads to see the General struggled to stood up
"You...you.." she spat the blood in hate and pointed her finger towards them "You'll pay for what you've done!" She screamed releasing a vicious and terrifying fire on her body, Norman and Eggs looked at each other
"You know...she's terrifying..." Eggs whispered
"I know..." Norman gasped
The two instantly charge towards the General
"Halt! you there! In the name of our Queen!" A soldier chasing the frightful water bender clinging the water jug with his dear life as he plead in desperation
"No sir please! Don't kill me!" He cried as he ran away from the soldier when he noticed a large boulder beside the great oak, he quickly hid himself beside it...
"Eggs was right! I should have used my element to help Norman back there, I'm such an idiot!" He whispered and slapped his forehead in annoyance "Maybe I should use the water..." he whispered and stared at his water jug in concentration, when a sound of footstops from behind made him pursed his lips and breath hitched
"Where are you, you little pest?" The soldier circling around as he hold his soear with caution without noticing a figure appeared from a large boulder raised it's arms and smack a water jug on him on the ground, letting him unconscious, Wybie panted in relief
"Who knew the jug could be a reliable weaponry..." he muttered as he left the unconscious soldier on the ground
Soldiers fell on the ground one by one as they were defeated, Kubo cleaned his hand
"IS THAT ALL YOU GOT?!?" Eggs yelled at them with a mock, hundreds of soldiers began to burst out from the airships, Kubo stared at him in disbelief
"Really? You had to ask?" he raised his brow at him as Eggs smiled nervously
The soldiers went towards the wind bender, pointing their spear to stab himto his chest, Kubo closed his eyes and channeled his energy and successfully created a large ball of wind expanding his powers, causing his foes to lose their balance as they flew backwards with long distance
"Eggs! Quick! let's work together to beat them down once and for all!" He called him
"It's okay Eggs! I got this!" Norman exclaimed as he avoided the fireballs throwing at him, Eggs nodded and quickly went towards to Kubo
"You are not going anywhere Wind benders!" The General hissed attempting to attack the wind benders but she felt something cold on her, turning her body around she saw her leg was captured by one of Norman's water, she smiled
"You water benders are such stubborn little beings..." she shook her head looking at the him, sweat trickling on his face, struggling to keep his ice as long as possible, with just one spin of her leg he could feel his ice starting to crack...
Kubo and Eggs performed their meditation as soon as possible, channeling their inner chakras once again, they breathed and moved in sync...
"If it means to protect the Wind Nation, I have to..." Norman glared at her
She scoffed "what's the point of protecting everybody if you can't even protect yourself? Ha! How unfortunate of you..." her body began to produce heat glowing red, his ice melted, releasing herself from his grasp, she instantly kicked his leg and lose his balance, Norman groaned and tried to stood up but she quickly stepped on him and placed her hand on his neck, slowly strangling him as her eyes stared into his
"Look at you, so helpless....so weak...I wonder, does your parents even felt proud for bringing a child like you such weakling into this world? I doubt that...but I am not like you, I am more capable than anyone has ever been..." she told him as her hands continue to strangle deeper into his neck, he could hardly breathe....
"I-I c-can't..." he reached his hands towards the river but nothing moved...
"Oh well...in that case..." she sighed and moved her face closer to his with a demonic look from her eyes
"I should end your sufferings right now..." she whispered, creating a fire from her other hands, she laughed "see you in hell..." she was about to strike him when Norman suddenly caught her arm in return
"What?!" She exclaimed and noticed her hand behind his nape was frozen, Norman smirk
"I don't think I'll be seeing you in hell you dumbass.." he spat "Only you are.." he finished and summoned a large gush of water to push her towards the rocks
"NO!" she screamed in fury as the water roughly pushed her on the rocks, Norman coughed and immediately went towards his friends to protect them, creating large walls of ice around them
"GET READY!!" Eggs yelled and Kubo nodded, Norman looked towards the sky as it darkens, the soldiers stopped in wonder as and the General hissed, struggling to remove herself from the stones, everyone felt that strong aura...that strong wind, Kubo and Eggs continued to move in unity until something formed between them, the wind began to gather on its own, forcing itself to grew bigger and more stronger, Norman could feel he was getting pulled by it, that he instantly freezed his own feet
"It's going to blow up!" Kubo yelled at Norman "take cover!" He warned him
Norman nodded and conjured a ball of ice to protect himself
Hundreds of soldiers dropped their weapons instantly as the large cyclone moved towards them, sucking everyone from it's sight, they scream in terror as the wind tried to pull them, including her..
"NO..." She whispered, staring at her army getting sucked one by one.
"YOU USELESS BUFOONS!" she shouted, gripping herself on the rock, her struggle came to an end when she accidentally slipped her fingers, causing the wind to pull her and her troops towards the cyclone, dragging them to an unknown place, Kubo and the others watched as the wind moved away, hearing her screams echoed through the sky, they sighed
Kubo and Eggs panted from exhaustion and sat on the ground, Norman unfreezed the water as it slowly fell to the ground, he noticed the two wind benders laughing on the ground, he smiled as well
"I think it's done..." Kubo sighed in relief
"Yeah, I think it is..." Eggs nodded and stood up "come on...let's find something to eat! I'm beat.."
Kubo and Norman chuckled
"Alright, let me make some rice balls for you..." Kubo patted Egg's shoulder as they walked "something just happened and you all think about is food...."
Norman shook his head and followed the two as they argue from afar, stepping his foot once again, he heared something exploding behind him, his eyes squinted in wonder what it could be, when he noticed the flaming fire coming towards their direction, his eyes widened and realized....
A fire bender has escaped through the Wind benders technique
As much to his surprise, the firebender passed through him and instead went towards to...
"KUBO WATCH OUT!!" Norman shouted in desperate as he quickly ran himself towards the wind bender and pushed him out of the way, the fire caught him, those burning eyes of the woman made him realize, it was her again
"NORMAN!!" Kubo and Eggs shouted
"I WILL ALWAYS HUNT YOU DOWN!" she shouted at him as her flames began to grew even more stronger than before, Norman screamed from the pain as the flames slowly eating him...
"GET AWAY FROM HIM!!" Eggs charged himself, creating the wind into a whip, he slashed the woman away from Norman, Kubo worriedly went towards him lying on the ground
"Nice try Wind benders!" She yelled and threw fire at Eggs but he manage to create gush of wind to collided with her attacks, he gritted his teeth as he struggled...
"I used most my powers from that large cyclone!" He shouted but the woman laughed at him and creayed more heat in her hands, causing to push Eggs through his chest and landing on the ground with a thud
"Eggs no!" Kubo reached his hand to rescue him as he tried to stood up
Eggs was right...
They're both tired from that technique..
She turned her head to face the eyed patched wind bender
"Trying to rescue your friend I see..." she went towards Kubo as he tried to mobe his staff in circular motion, his wind tried to push her away but his chakra was not enough, bending her knees, she grabbed him by the collar letting her flames spread through his body, he winced from the pain
"Kubo..." Norman faintly whispered as he witnessed his friend being tortured by the madwoman...
"Your head would make a fine present for my Mistress..." she smiled and threw him on the ground like a useless trash...
Kubo breathe, enduring the stinging pain from his face as he watched the other two...
They helplessly stared at each other in defeat, lying on the ground, they could felt their visions began to blur..
"shall we end this again?" She chuckled and looked at Norman "let's start from you now..."
"No! Please!" Eggs reached his hand to stop her but to no avail, she ignored Eggs' plead and continued to walk towards the water bender, slowly observing him, Norman sat up while covering his burned arm and face but his eyes still glared at her in rage
She smirked in mockery
"Let us see if you shall ever be able to look at me like that once I set this onto your eyes!" She shouted and whipped her flaming hands at his face, the wind benders hopelessly watched as they waited to see their friend meeting his death from the hands of the bloodthristy woman..
"NOOOOOO!!"
Norman closed his eyes
When....
A gush of water suddenly stopped the fire from burning him
His eyes widened...
It wasn't him....
It wasn't his techinique...
Norman opened his eyes again to see his fellow water bender standing in front him for protection, his eyes went towards at Wyborn's hand and water dances through his palm
He's doing it....
He's finally using his element...
"Wybie..." he gasped but Wybie ignored him, his eyes were locked on the woman, arms pierced with ice she also looked at him in shock
Eggs and Kubo sighed in relief
"Another water bender?!" She exclaimed "but how.." she turned around to looke at the three as she realized "Oh....so you are the other water bender, I see..." she whispered showing her pierced arm to him, the ice began to back into water once again as it dropped on the ground "seems like you lost the fun a while ago..."
He looked at his friends in sympathy before he glared back at her "I saw..." he spat "I told everyone that I would only use my powers when I felt it was the right time.." he replied "seems like I have no other options now, haven't I?" He steadied his ground when she laughed from his statement
"That is absurd! Power was meant to be seen, it must be praised with all it's glory!"
He paused "By killing other people? You had the guts to teach me about it..."
She raised her brow at him "You? Protecting them? How? You're just a coward little water bender like the others.."
Wybie breathe "Yes...I am a coward..I admit that...even though I am one...but it doesn't mean I couldn't do something about it..." he spat back to her, as she suddenly gritted her teeth again
"YOU..." she clutched her fists "You only rely with your petty little friends!" She exclaimed "Being a coward doesn't make you different like the others!"
He nodded "I know....I'm not..." he sighed in regret "But actually..." closing his eyes again, he secretly moved the water around him, dancing towards Norman and the others and gently landed on their wounded area, Kubo expected the water to sting on his face but much to his surprise, it felt rather cool and relaxing...
"Rest now everyone...let me handle this..." Wybie whispered as he clutched his hands in fear, he admit, that woman is too powerful for him, she could obliterate him at any minute if she could get her hands on him...
He has to stay cautious...
She laughed and stomped her feet with force "I healer like you could not be ever called as a warrior..." she insulted him
"Try me..." he simply answered, moving his hands towards his water jug it slowly began to circle around him, turning it into ice and tiny droples began to form large amounts of ice shards behind him, he spat back
"Once you hurt Norman and my friends....I will make sure I would make regret from what you did to them..." he glared back "Just because you're a woman doesn't mean I have to treat you one..." he finished with a scowl
She chuckled at his comment and positioned her self
"You are still going to lose..."
He answered
"Bring it..."
Both bodies ran towards each other with great speed as one summoned great blazing heat that could burn everything from it's path filled with hate and pride desired to be noticed, while the other conjured an ice cold water that could freeze a living being for an eternity filled with passionate and determination to protect their Nation, their HOME...
Meeting the fiery amber irises through the cold darkbrown ones, their elements collided with chaos once again.
The war was just the beginning..
