Vivi told her what happened as Lana treats her arm. It was nothing serious.. Just a wound.
Apparently, the people who lives in the island were not very welcoming at first.. pointing their guns at them.. The boys retaliated which cause the gunshots. Fortunately Vivi managed to calm Luffy down and asked him to be humble since they're the one who needed their help. It works as they were invited to go to their village which is what they're doing now.
Luffy, Usopp, Lana, Vivi, Nami who's in Sanji's back went to go see the doctor accompanied by the people who lives in the island. While Zoro and Karoo stayed on the ship, tasked to guard it.
As they were walking on the thick pile of snow.. Lana couldn't help but be amazed.. The island is all white and chilly! She was walking alongside of Vivi..
"I must warn you, the only doctor we have here is a witch." The guy in a green and gold armor with a large weapon on his back said. He seems to be the leader of the group.
"A witch?!" Usopp exclaimed. Can a witch be a doctor? Don't they curse people, not heal them??
"You gotta be kidding me. Nothing here makes sense.." Sanji.
"At least they have a 'doctor' here.. What is this place anyway?" Lana looked around.. and glanced at the men surrounding them.. Some of them are blushing as they stare at her. She feels uncomfortable so she just looked at their leader in front of them..
"This land still does not have a name." He answered.
"A nameless land? Does that really happen?" Vivi asked.
Just then Usopp screamed!
"A bear!!"
"Everyone! Pretend to be dead!" He lowered his voice as he continued then lays down the ground.
"A Hiking Bear. They pose no danger." The leader said. Lana glanced at the huge white bear! Who's walking like a person with a pickaxe on its right paw.
'I want one of those bear! Will captain agree if we catch one?' Lana thoughts.
"Don't forget to bow. It's proper hiking manners."
They all bow as they pass by the bear. Ignoring Usopp who's still lying on the ground. Lana's eyes sparkle.
"Don't tell me you want one of those too?" Vivi said when she noticed Lana. She remembered how Lana wants to have a pet tiger. Now she wants a bear!?
On the other hand..
Zoro removes his shoes taking a look on his injury.
Moving his feet around to test if the stitch will open otherwise Lana would be mad at him.
"Yosh! It's all better now!" Zoro exclaimed to the scared Karoo who's covered by a cloak.
"Lana really did a nice job stitching. Now I can finally do some real training! I was getting sick of that watered-down training. And I can't fully train when Lana tries to nag every time she saw me lift heavy weights while standing! Besides just watching the ship is boring as hell." He said as removes his coat throwing it at Karoo and then his shirt comes next and lastly is his green haramaki.
"Maybe I'll go for some cold-weather swimming to suppress myself." Zoro said as if it was the most normal thing to do.
Karoo jaw drops. Who would dare to swim in this ice cold weather?? Only Zoro of course!

Lana and the others arrived at the village..
"This is our village, Big Horn." The leader introduced.
"There are weird animals walking everywhere.." Luffy said.
Lana looked around.. It was in fact weird but beautiful at the same time. The houses were built in pink colored bricks and as for their roof, it was made from hay..
"That's snow country for ya!" Usopp
"Nami-san! We made it to a village with people! It's a village!" Sanji said to Nami who's too tired to open her eyes.
"Okay. Thanks for the help, everyone. Those who aren't guards can return to their work." The leader said to his men. Vivi and Lana glanced at him.
"But will you be alright by yourself, Dalton-san? They're pirates!" One of his men said. So his name is Dalton.
"I believe they pose no threat. That's my hunch of many years of experience. You can trust it." Dalton-san said.
The men murmured towards each other..
"Alright, Dalton-san! We leave the rest to you!"
"Be careful Dalton-san."
"Just call us again if anything happens!"
The villagers said as they went back to their homes and post.
"They weren't this land's security forces?" Vivi asked.
"They're ordinary citizens. Come to my home for now." Dalton said as he started walking.
Vivi glanced at Lana who shrugged before following suit.
"Oi Look Luffy! A Hiking Bear!" Usopp stopped.
"Again?" Luffy looked at what Usopp is talking about.
"Oh, Dalton-san!" The said hiking bear said. Turns out it was a large woman wearing a thick coat of fur.
"Gotta bow." Usopp said as he and Luffy bows. Lana laughs at the two!
"I heard there were pirates! Are you okay?" The woman said as she walks towards Dalton passing by the two idiots. Lana grabbed her stomach from laughing..
"Yes, everything is okay. There's nothing to worry about." Dalton
Lana slings her arms between Luffy and Usopp shoulders.
"How could you mistake a woman for a bear??" Lana said as she laughs.
"Eh?! That's a woman???" Usopp shouted as Luffy laughs with Lana!
They continued their way to Dalton's house..
"Use that bed there. I'll warm the place up." He said as they enter the house.
It wasn't that big but it is cozy enough to lived in.
"I haven't told you my name yet." Dalton said as he sets down his weapon.
"I'm Dalton, captain of the security squad of this island. Please forgive our heavy-handed welcome. May I ask you a question?" Dalton asked.. particularly to Vivi.
"I somehow feel like I've seen you before." Dalton
Vivi got the chills that Lana noticed.
"I-it's probably just your imagination!" Does Dalton know that Vivi is a princess?
"Anyway, please tell us about this witch?" Lana butted in. Trying to save Vivi who's flustered.
"Uhm.. yeah.. Nami-san's temperature was 42°C when I checked it just now!" Vivi following up Lana to divert the attention.
"42°C?!" Dalton looked at Nami..
Vivi glanced at Lana, thankful for the diversion.
"Her fever's gone up for three days in a row." Lana
"She'll die if it goes up anymore!" Dalton
"Yes. But we don't even know the cause of her illness or how to treat it.." Vivi stated. Lana had exhausted all the books in Nami's bookshelf but nothing about that kind of illness.
"We need a doctor! Anyone will do! Where is this witch of yours?!" Sanji starting to get a little impatient. Waiting doesn't help Nami's health after all.
"The witch. Do you see those mountains outside the window?" Dalton.. Lana and Vivi looked at the windoa.
"Yeah.. those insanely tall--" Sanji was interrupted when a large snow sculpture blocks the view!
And of course, it was Usopp and Luffy.. Finding happiness in the midst of problems doesn't seem to be hard for those two, especially for Luffy.
"Don't make me kick your asses!" Sanji shouted.
The two just looked at Sanji and shrugged before going inside.
Lana sighed..
"What were those mountains anyway?" She asked, wanting to move on from the catastrophe.
Dalton looked at them wondering how carefree their crew acts.. sighing, he continued explaining..
"Those mountains are known as the Drum Rockies. Do you see the castle at the top of the tallest one in the middle?"
"Castle?" Usopp asked as Dalton gave them a drink to warm them up from playing snow outside.
"That castle no longer has its king." He said.
"That warms me up.." Luffy mumbled after drinking.
"Yeah, there it is." Sanji said as he, Lana and Vivi went near the window to look. The castle can't be clearly seen from Dalton's window.. but its silhouette is enough proof that there is really a castle.
"What's so important of it?" Vivi asked.
"The only doctor in the land Dr. Kureha, lives there. People call her a witch." Dalton
"Calling her a witch is kind of rude.. don't you think?" Lana mumbled.
"What?! Of all the places, why does it have to be so far away?! Then call her here right away! We have a critical patient!" Sanji said. Lana noticed that it is now snowing outside.. As much as she loves to play in the snow, it must be hard for the doctor to come down from the mountains..
"Even if we wanted to, there's no way to contact her." Dalton
"Huh?! And she calls herself a doctor?! What the hell is she like?!" Sanji's getting frustrated. What kind of place is this? A doctor living in the mountains and there's no way of contact.. How does the doctor know if someone is in need of treatment??
"As a doctor, she's very skilled. But she's an eccentric old hag. She's nearly 140 years old now." Dalton revealed. They were all shocked.
"140?! I think she might need help!" Sanji commented.
"And let's see.. She likes pickled plums." Dalton said. Now was that necessary?
"What happens when people here get sick or injured?" Lana voiced out one of her thoughts.
"She comes down from the mountain when she feels like it. She looks for patients, treats them, then, as payment, she takes whatever she wants from their houses before leaving."
"Is that why you call her a witch?" Lana
"That and one obvious reason.." Dalton
"Sounds like an unfriendly old hag!" Usopp commented.
"Oi.. She almost sounds like a pirate!" Luffy
"But how does such an old woman go down that mountain?" Vivi
"Its's an odd rumor.. but several people claim to have seen her riding a sleigh through the sky on moonlit nights.. And that's the reason she's called a witch.. Some also saw her with a strange creature they'd never seen before.." Dalton explained
"I knew it! See? It's a Snow Man! It's a snowy mountain, after all! I knew there'd be one! A witch and a Snow Man?! Oh please never let us run into them!" Usopp started throwing a fit.
"She is the only doctor, but she's a hag I'd prefer to stay away from. All we can do is wait for the next time she comes down the mountain." Dalton
"You can't be serious.." Vivi exclaimed. This can't do.. Nami-san needs the doctor. Now.
"Dammit! We can't wait for that! Even as we speak, Nami-san is--!" Sanji stopped when he heard Luffy waking Nami up.
Luffy taps Nami's cheeks..
"Oy! Nami! Nami! Can you hear me?"
"What are you doing?!" All of them exclaimed! You can't do that to a sick person! Truly their captain is something else!
"Oh! She's awake!" Luffy said as he saw Nami's eyes opened.
"The only way to see a doctor is to climb a mountain. We're gonna climb it!" Luffy continued.. Nami was confused in what he's saying..
"He couldn't possibly be saying... !?" Lana couldn't believe what her captain has decided!
"Don't be crazy! What are you doing with Nami?!" Sanji
"It's okay! I'll carry her on my back!" Luffy
"That'll only make things even worse!" Vivi
"What's the problem? We need to hurry, don't we?" Luffy. Lana sighed as she nodded.
"That's true.. but it's dangerous.. Look at how steep and tall it is!" Vivi said pointing towards the window.
"I can make it." Luffy. At times like this.. Lana couldn't help but just believe in their captain.
"Maybe you can make it, but it'd be too hard on Nami-san!" Sanji argued.
"But look! If we fall, we'll land in snow!" Luffy
"Even a healthy person would die instantly after a fall from there!" Vivi
"Seriously! She's 6°C over normal temperature! Do you even get it?!" Usopp
"Captain's right.. It might be a risk but taking that is better than just waiting here for nothing." Lana said stopping them arguing..
"I.." Nami tried to speak.. They all looked at her.
"I need to get over this fast.... I need to hurry... for Vivi .... I'm counting on you, Captain!" Nami managed to say, raising her hand up as she tried to smile.. Luffy grinned giving her a high 5.
"That's more like it! Just leave it to me!"
"I can't believe it! Like Captain, Like navigator! Even Lana is on the same side.." Usopp
"Do you know what condition you're in, Nami-san?!" Sanji
"Are you sure you'll be okay? It'll take hours to get there!" Vivi
They all still tried to argue.. But Luffy is not Luffy if he didn't do what he's mind is set onto. That's why Lana didn't stop him.. it's no use.
"Old guy! Meat! Gimme meat!" Luffy asked Dalton
"Meat?" Dalton was confused why does he need meat.
"It powers him up." Lana said. Dalton still confused but nodded.
After preparing, Lana covered Nami with a thick coat and helped her wear gloves.. Vivi helped her settle up in Luffy's back..
"Yosh! I'm comin' too!" Sanji said.. Lana thinks it's for the better..
"Listen Luffy! Don't fall even once or you can expect Nami to die!" Usopp warned.
"Eh?! Even once?!" Luffy
"Wait! Hold still! I need to tie this right!" Vivi said.. tying a cloth around Nami so that she wouldn't fall from Luffy's back.
"All set. Okay.. I'm going to wait here. I'd only get in the way." Vivi
"Same here!" Usopp
"Me too." Lana plans to stay behind. She wants to look for a hiking bear..
"Got it! Okay, Nami! Hold on tight!" Luffy. Nami agreed weakly.
"If you're really set on going.. I won't stop you. But at least climb up from the other side. There are Lapins on this course. Fierce, carnivorous rabbits. If you encounter a pack of them, you're as good as dead." Dalton warns them.
"Rabbits? But we're in a hurry. We should be fine right?" Luffy then glanced at Sanji.
"Yeah! I'll kick 'em!" Sanji
"Kick?! You can't be serious! You'd be walking to your deaths!" Dalton
"It's okay! Alright then! Let's go Sanji! Before Nami dies!" Luffy started to run!
"What?! Don't say things that could jinx us you dumbass!" Sanji followed
"Will they really be alright?" Dalton asked as the three faded from their view.
"Well, I'm not worried about those two.." Usopp
"But the question is if Nami-san's strength will last long enough.. I hope they make it there safely." Vivi
Lana crossed her arms..
"It's fine.. Trust them okay?" Lana smiled.. Somehow seeing her smile lifts up the mood a little bit.
"Now.. Dalton-san.. Where do the Hiking bears live??" Lana asked. Dalton just stared at her.. Not sure if she's being serious or not.
"Hiking bea-- Lana please don't tell me you're going to make them your pet?" Vivi
"Yep." Lana grinned.
"Stop kidding around Lana!! You could get yourself killed!!" Usopp shouted!
"Relax! I'll be nice.. So Dalton-san?" Lana asked again. Dalton looked at her for a moment, maybe she's just bluffing..
"Dalton-san?" She tilted her head to the side. Crap! She's serious!
"No.. The woods are dangerous! You can't just wander around alone!" Dalton
"So in the woods huh.. Alright!! See you later guys! I'll be back!" She then ran off so they won't be able to stop her.
"No Lana wait!!!" Usopp and Vivi shouted! But.. It's too late.. She's gone..
"Are you not going to follow her?" Dalton asked the two.
But they both shook their head.
"Nope."
"She's strong.. I'm sure she can handle herself.." Usopp said remembering how she fought with Wapol's men last time.
Unlike him.. Vivi was worried.. But she's too afraid to follow her.. I'm sure she'll be fine.. right?
