Nightmare's POV
Error opened the portal close to my mansion, and we walked through, we talked a bit about some stuff
"Did you fill your quota for the day?" I asked
If I'm being honest I would expect for him to be fuming with positive energy from killing the monsters in the AU but instead he showed a bit of negative energy for a second and then said his response
"Mhmm.." He said
By then his negative energy was gone, I wanted to know what was bothering him so I did what any normal being would do...
I stopped walking and slung my tentacles towards him, I wrapped him up completely to not let him move, though it surprised me a bit on how he was still able to struggle.
"Nightmare- what're you doing!" He exclaimed, clearly angry
"Look I saw that negative energy you sent out after I asked you that question. Talk to me. What's wrong?" I mumbled, "I care about you.."
Error suddenly looked surprised and then smiled
"I didn't know you cared about me that much" He said with a genuine smile, it melted my heart to see him happy but I quickly brushed out of embarrassment that he heard me, then I noticed I was getting off track and then I did something I would never do normally
I brought him closer to me and I released him, after I did that I hugged him and I put my tentacles all around us, so nobody would see what I just did, you never know. Somebody could be seeing this.
I hugged him like my life depended on it
"Error..of course I care about you! I always have and I always will..I'll always be here to talk when you need it and I promise I can take it, I just need to be sure that you trust me enough to talk to me, I can't stand watching you neither can I bare seeing the rest of the team suffer because I know you're all hurting..just like me, but we always ignore it..So please know that I'm here for you until the very end.." I said compassionately while hugging Error, I had turned into my passive form, but the protective tentacle shield stayed
After I said that, Error slowly wrapped his arms around me and his head rest in my shoulder, and he started to cry
He melted into the hug, and we stayed there for as long as he needed
We finally released each other after a few minutes
I turned into my corrupted form again and smiled as Error walked a bit closer to me
"Thanks Nighty I really needed that." He smiled while looking up at me, it was then that I realized that he was the height of Blue
I giggled at this which made him confused
"Did I say something weird?" He asked
"No, no it's not that pff- I just realized that you're the same size as Blue" I giggled a bit between words, (It is very hard to find short Error pictures so just bare with me ;-;)
He puffed his cheeks and turned his head, which also lead to him crossing his arms, which was adorable
"Oh ha ha very funny." He said sarcastically, which made me chuckle
We had arrived at the mansion
Nightmare's Mansion
Error's POV
Error's mind
I can't believe that he actually noticed, but whatever. I still love Nightmare, I can't bring myself to hate him for anything.
I snapped out of my thoughts to hear loud, thumping, footsteps and I knew what was happening. Cross and Epic probably started teasing Killer, Horror, and maybe somebody else again.
"Hold on I'll be right back.." I sighed in annoyance
I teleported to what was happening and was annoyed to see exactly what I just said, Killer, Horror, and Ink for some reason we're chasing Cross and Epic.
The moment I stepped in Cross and Epic's path everybody immediately made a HARD stop. And I raised a non-existent eyebrow which made some of them start to sweat except for Cross because he ran straight towards me and started hugging me
"Hello you too Cross" I smiled, the hug finished
"Uhhh....-" Ink said nervously as I glared at him for a second
"Who's gonna explain to me what happened?" I said in a very annoyed and cold voice which they know better than to not answer.
"Well I- Umm-" Horror said nervously
"I don't really know what happened for everybody else to start chasing Cross and Epic but for me, I started chasing him because he tried to replace my normal knife with a rainbow one that they call 'The Gay Knife' and I was trying to see if I could replace his giant knife or giant sword, whatever it is, with a Cow balloon." Killer said calmly
"Okay Killer is free to go now, I'll deal with punishments later. If you want the worst punishment then you will lie as much as you can. The more in trouble you are depends on how many times you lie." I said to everybody
Killer just left the room
"Who's next." I asked with a cold voice, if voices could do damage I would have frozen everybody in popsicles by now
This sent shivers down their spines
"Do I get a pass on the punishments since I don't live here..?" Ink said nervously
"No."
"Epic and Cross started teasing me about me having more than one boyfriend which I don't! One is Nightmare but not-"Ink paused right there and Cross and Epic started snickering
"Inky bruh you gonna finish that statement??" Epic said while snickering
Cross was laughing his non-existent ass off
Ink had a full rainbow blush
"Not who?"I questioned which made Ink sweat, he was probably just uncomfortable to answer
"What's going on that is taking so long?" Nightmare said while walking in
"It's probably personal so I won't pry the answer out. Ink is free now. I'll decide everybody's punishments at the end"
"Cross and Epic were getting chased by Killer, Horror, and Ink..again" I said to Nightmare
Ink had walked out with his scarf over his mouth, he looked like he had just seen a ghost except he was blushing
"Who's next?" I said coldly
"Okay you do that I'll just talk go talk to Ink" Nightmare said, walking away
"Don't forget the ring." I said jokingly
"Fuck off" He said with a smirk and a narrowed eye, sticking out his middle finger while walking away, which made me giggle
"Anyways. Continue." I said to them
"I was chasing Cross and Epic because Cross took my food and Epic was teasing me about yesterday when we were doing that Truth or Dare game and Killer had to kiss me to complete a dare." He said, clearly annoyed
"Horror is free, who is next." As I said that Horror went to the living room
"Bruh we were just messing around with them, we weren't doing anything bad!" He said nervously
"So taking the food from somebody who is always starving, is considered as not bad." I said coldly to Epic which made him back away
"Epic you're free to go, I'll let it slide into the warning section just this once." After I said that Epic nervously walked to the living room
"Cross I know that you did it because Epic suggested it and you just wanted to have some fun but what else?" I said calmly
"Horror woke me up this morning with a cow costume so I wanted to take my revenge. I took his food, sure but I put it back after Epic started teasing him about yesterday." Cross said
"And CC just wanted chocolate." He added
"Okay c'mon let's go back to the others." I smiled
"Okay!" Cross and CC said cheerfully
We went downstairs and I had already planned everybody's punishments
"Okay so everybody's punishment is to wear David for a day" I smiled and everybody looked shocked except Ink
"Who is David??" He asked in curiosity
I wrapped my strings around Killer, Horror, and Epic
"I'll be right back." I dragged the screaming and pleading skeletons out of the room
When we all came out, Killer, Horror, and Epic had the pinkest skirts on
"Every pink skirt in this mansion is named David, we use him as a punishment tool." I explained but then Ink started sweating because he had to wear that too
"If you want me to force it upon you, go ahead and decline I'll just crank the hours up of you having to wear it." I smirked
With saying that Cross and Ink sadly went into the room with the skirts and they came out while wearing them
"Be grateful that I didn't choose torture as the punishment." I said while sounding proud of myself
"You just have to wear the skirt for an hour. I think you can do that." Nightmare was snickering at everybody and Dust was thankful that he wasn't apart of this
"Think of it this way, just mimic Frisk from when she wore that Tutu once!" Dust snickered
All of them pointed their middle finger towards Dust which made him laugh more
Nightmare just laughed a lot
"Anyways if anybody needs me I'll be in my room." I walked upstairs
I was now in my room, and I decided to knit a puppet of whatever
When I had finished knitting I started crying, but I didn't know why..my eyes were just working on their own.
I noticed I had knitted a Papyrus that was somehow familiar even though I was sure I had no clue who they are
Hugging the puppet made me feel like I belonged and I was finally home, I didn't like those feelings, I don't deserve to feel like that. But I noticed that I couldn't bring myself to hurting the puppet. So I put it in the Anti-Void, hanging with the rest of the puppets and souls.
I wonder what that was about. It was probably nothing and probably just my 'sans instinct' to protect Papyruses
I just went to watching Undernovela
Third Person POV
"So..who broke it?" Nightmare said calmly
"I'm not mad I just wanna know." Nightmare said calmly again
Killer's mind
Yeah, sure you're totally not mad.
Ink sighed, "I did it, I broke it-"
"No, no you didn't." Nightmare interrupted
"Cross?"
"Don't look at me! Look at Dust!" Cross said
"What? I didn't break it!" Dust said
"Huh that's weird, how'd you even know it's broken?" Cross said
Dust face palmed his hand onto his head
"Because it's sitting right in front of us and it's broken."
"Suspicious.." Cross said
"No it's not!" Dust said frustrated
"If it matters, probably not but Horror was the last one to use it-" Killer said
"Liar I don't even drink that crap!" Horror said
"Oh really then what were you doing by the coffee cart earlier" Killer said
"To use the wooden stirrers for popsicles! Everybody knows that Killer!" Horror said
"Okay let's not fight, I broke it, let me pay for it Night" Ink said
"No! Who broke it!" Nightmare said, angered
"Nightmare, Epic has been awfully quiet-" Dust said
"BRUH REALLY??" Epic yelled
"Yeah really!" Dust says back
Everybody starts arguing and accusing one or the other about who broke the coffee machine, and Nightmare pulled Ink away from the argument, and into the living room where they can't hear them
"I broke it, it burned my tentacle so I punched it. I predict 10 minutes from now they'll be at each other's throats with war paint on their faces and a human head on a stick." Nightmare said to Ink
"Is this safe?" Ink asked
"It will be safe when Error comes down to see this mess." He chuckles
"Good it was getting a little chummy around here." He giggled
Nightmare and Ink start talking about the cute moments Error had

Error's POV
I was in a dark room, I was chained up to a chair. I think I could still pull my strings, but that's when I realized that my hands were surrounded with metal, like I couldn't move my fingers or my hand. And I was wearing a collar, which was preventing my magic from working, I also had some bracelets on that prevented my magic from working, I was gagged so I couldn't call out names, just make noises. I was on a chair.
I was scared on the inside but I made sure not to show it.
I had no idea what was going on, I was just on my bed in Nightmare's Mansion.
I felt something caress my spine, and I shivered, the bad part is that I couldn't turn my head around to see who it was, I was glitching so much from the physical contact that I almost crashed
I felt hot breath on my neck, I was on the verge of crashing.
Something started kissing the back of my skull, and it felt so wrong, I wanted to leave, I wanted to run, I wanted to at least know who it was.
I crashed.
Awhile passed
I blinked after my crash finished, I was in another dark room, I couldn't see a thing, not even myself
I was chained the same way except this time I was able to stand up but my legs were still chained
I saw a light bulb turn on and it showed Nightmare, he was in his passive form, he was chained up the same way as me but he was chained up to the wall, and his hands were separated and chained. Unlike me who has my arms behind my back.
I tried to walk to him but my leg chains pulled me back, and it electrocuted me a lot if I tried to walk, instead of stand up.
I saw somebody grab a chainsaw, they were cutting in half his ribs, each and everyone
I don't want to get into detail..because there was so much worse happening..all I heard was Nightmare's screams and him pleading for me to help him, All I saw was his blood, and I had no idea who this person was because they didn't look like anybody I knew at all and they resembled a shadow, I couldn't tell if it was a human or a monster because it looked like none..it looked like a shadow.
I was crying and made muffled noises which were pleads for them to stop but..they never stopped. Nightmare is immortal like me, Ink, Dream, and so on so fourth. So this was torture because he would still be alive even after the horror that had just happened. (No pun intended)
I crashed after the shadow thing had finally stopped, because I looked at Nightmare's oh so limp body.
I awoke in a room similar to the Anti-Void, there was no noise..At least yet..
The only color in the room was black, I could use attacks but I couldn't open portals.
I screamed and screamed. Nobody came. Who am I kidding if it didn't work back then it wouldn't work now. I screamed and I screamed and kept screaming. Nothing.
I looked at my hand. To see a weird drawing looking eye. I inspected it but then I flinched when it blinked.
There was more eye looking drawings in this black room, they were whispering to me. Whispering on how long ago a little skeleton fell into the Anti-Void from Fate and became what he is today.
Some where singing this..song? It was chilling..
I held onto my head to try and block out the voices but it didn't work, the eyes expanded throughout the room and kept whispering or singing that chilling song.
"P-please somebody help.." I cried
Some of the whispers started laughing at me, they were chilling laughs, ones that are heard right before you die. But the ones who were singing were still singing.
I closed my eyes tightly and I woke up in my room I had sat up quickly, I was panting and sweating. I laid back down a bit and I let myself cry a bit.
After I got over the dream.
I got out of the bed and I had calmed down.
"At least it wasn't as bad as my other nightmares.."
I realized Nightmare knocked on the door, and I panicked because I think he saw me spewing out all that negative energy while I was dreaming and while I was awake
"Yes boss??" I asked nervously
"..." Nightmare didn't reply and opened the door, which made me flinch, and I realized that everybody who is apart of the gang AND Ink was behind him
"What's this about?" I flashed my signature smile
"Error..everybody knows that when you call me 'boss' something is wrong." He said with an emotionless yet kinda cold face
"And don't try to lie because you spilled so much negative energy a little earlier that I thought that a Sans lost their Papyrus for the first time two times.." He said to me
"It's fine it was just a nightmare, guess I was more tired than I thought!" I sweated but I had truth on my face
"A nightmare..? I didn't give you a nightmare????" He had confusion on his face
"Uhmm I was sure you gave me a nightmare but if you didn't then how??" I was confused
"But don't worry I'm fine the nightmare wasn't even THAT BAD this time..which is probably why I don't sleep." I knew there was no way of getting out of this one..
After I explained my nightmare to everybody
"Not that bad you say.." Nightmare said with a bit of doubt and worry
Suddenly I was lifted in Nightmare's tentacles and he read a book, the rest of the gang and Ink laid themselves down on Nightmare's tentacles and we all slept except Nightmare, he was reading.

Eventually Nightmare fell asleep with the rest of us and I peacefully dozed off, and instead of a nightmare I had a dream, it was the best sleep I had gotten in decades.
"Sleep well child." Fate smiles at Destiny's child, Error
When we woke up...
