"Tita Hanni!!" Matinis na boses ko na tinawag sha at nagmadali para yakapin sha.
" Toria! Hija! Ang laki mo na ha... How are you? How's your health? " Tita asked and she hugged me while Nathan's at my back.
"I'm fine tita!" I smiled and magkahawak kamay namin.
After the long awkwarndness sa car, hindi kami nag uusap or nag titinginan ni Nathan. Or maybe it's just me? I can't really look at him at this moment! Did he just confessed his feelings? Pero wala sha sinabing 'i like you'.
"Hey Nathan, how are you dito sa Philippines? After your college be back at Cali okay? Nakaset na lahat saiyo doon". Tita Hanni said and smiled.
" I'm fine here ma, I'm not sure if babalik ako ng Calif... Sorry" giit niya at ngumisi.
I was shocked and looked at him pero he just gave me a smirk.
" Really? Then, think about it as soon as possible okay? And tell your dad right away. " Tita Hanni said and she left us sa table para kausapin ang ibang visitors.
Grabe, ang ganda ng event na rineady niya. May mga Chinese, Americans, and iba't ibang lahi na nandirito. After minutes, nag start na ang event niya at nag dilim lahat and nakatutok lang ang ilaw sa stage niya.
The projector flashes at the screen with her new book. 'The 90's Memories'. Sobang enggrande netong event.
"The 90's Memories. I have published this book since last month. I've been through a lot while writing this book. Stress, sickness, and a lot of scenarios happened. I watched her smiled in front of the cameras and waving. Until I felt Nathan's hands touched my thighs. I looked at him with my shocked face and he's just watching his mother in front.
Kitang kita ang mga flash sa muka ni Nathan at madilim dito. Ang ngiti niya.
"Do you think, matutulad ako kay ma?" He asked without even glancing at me.
" Why? Plano mo maging author? I thought you'll study astronomy?" I asked. I heard it's his dream to study astrophysics and more about stars, and astronauts.
"Yes, pero you know. There's a lot of unexpected surprises na lilitaw nalang bigla. Yung mga... Mga di mo plinano, baka, biglang mangyayari nalang. It's, possible. " He said and looked at me while his hands are still on my thighs.
After eating, and greeted tita Hanni, we went straight back to our unit. 'Our unit'. I remembered what happen here a while back sa car. Nahihiya parin ako. Pero it's obvious na wala lang kay Nathan.
We went home and its back to reality next week.
"Have... You, finished the book?" Nathan asked while I'm taking my meds.
"Almost." I said and drank water. Halos laman ng 'book of minds' ko ang lines ng book na iyon.
"Who's the author by the way? Interesting book... I searched it pero walang lumalabas. " I asked him while leaning against the breakfast bar table and he's on the other side.
He went near me and stood in front of me habang ang dalawang kamay niya ay naka sandal sa table to support. I'm locked here sakanya. Kakainom ko lang ng gamot pero parang hihimatayin ako.
"Hey, stop that. I'm just asking." I said pero di parin niya inaalis ang kamay niya. "Yeah, nevermind. Maganda yung book. Pakisabi nalang sa author. " I said and lumusot sa ilalim ng arms niya't nag madali akong pumunta sa room ko.
I sighed heavily sa pagod, kaba, kilig at confusion. Ang daming ganap. Di ko na naopen groupchat namin dahil sa pagod ko. After minutes, I went outside para mag shower and mag hanap ng sleepwear I'm only wearing a sando and dolphin shorts na gray, it's Friday and tomorrow I'll be preparing for our test pag balik.
Pag labas ko ng room to get some water, I saw Nathan watching tv. I went near him while holding my glass of water.
"Ano 'yan?" I asked and umupo sa solo couch.
" Historical film. " He said with his serious face while watching.
I stood up and papunta na sa hallway sa room when he stood up too and grabbed my arm paharap sakanya at pinaupo niya ako sa tabi niya. Pag upo namin, he put his arms sa likod ko at kinuha ang glass of water ko and ininom 'yon.
"Hey, since when are you being so clingy with me?" I asked. Habang nanonood sha, kinuha niya ang remote at pinatay ang tv and the other remote para sa lights and ang floor lampshade lang naka on. He looked at me with his killer smile and sinandal ang ulo niya.
"Hey? What are you doing?" I asked. Dahil ang dilim at shade lang iniwan niya naka on. So chill huh.
"Stay here, let's stay like this for a while, or hanggang makatulog ako." He said and he closed his eyes and humiga sa lap ko.
It's super late and tinitignan ko lang sha at madilim na nakaupo lang ako sa sofa.
"Hey, I want to sleep." I whispered at him and inayos niya lang ang higa niya saakin. I played with his hair, so smooth and ang bango. He smiled and opened his eyes.
Tumayo sha at tumayo na rin ako pero hinatak niya ako palapit sakanya at nilatag niya ang sofa bed. At wala man siyang kumot, at unan lang sa sofa ang inunan niya at humiga na sha.
"Let's sleep then?" He asked habang naka higa na.
" No! Were not sleeping on the same bed again!" I said and rolled my eyes. Ngumisi lang sha at tumalikod para matulog na. I stood up and kumuha ng kumot niya kasi malamig dito lalo't naka on ang ac.
Pag lagay ko ng blanket sakanya, dahan dahan humiga na rin ako pero nakatalikod sakanya at walang kumot. I closed my eyes and nafefeel ko na lumalapit sha dahil nafefeel ko ang pag hinga niya sa likod. And kinumutan niya ako bigla then he put his arms on my waist and his other arm on my head to use it as a pillow.
My heart, is really beating fast. Right now. I want this position of us to last.
"I guess it's a yes?" He chuckled.

Early in the morning, I woke up around 8am. Pag gising ko, tulog pa si Nathan and naka hug parin sa waist ko. Di ba sha nangawit? Gosh.
Tinanggal ko ang kamay niya sa bewang ko pero binalik rin niya. So, gising pala siya.
"Hey! I need to take meds" I whispered.
Why are we being so clingy to each other? Gosh! Finally, he let go and he grabbed his phone to check his notifications. Meanwhile, I was about to drink my meds when I remembered that I should be visiting the library today. Ibabalik ko ang mga libro na hiniram ko at mag hihiram ulit. Of course!
After taking meds, nafefeel ko ang chest ko na sumisikip and I'm catching my breath again. I took my inhaler immediately and drank water. I stayed calm for a while and lumapit si Nathan.
"Hey, aalis ka?" He asked he's making his coffee.
"Yeah,punta ako library" I said and hinawakan ang chest ko.
" You good? Sumasakit ba?" He asked and looked at me. Umiling ako at ngumiti nalang at papunta sa salas para ayusin ang sofa bed.
While fixing the sofa bed, nakita ko ang phone niya tunog ng tunog. I checked, and saw @xyra.f . Ang daming messages ni Xyra. Puro, "hey? Are you coming", "help me please?". I don't know why, pero di ako selosang babae pero nag seselos ako.
"Xyra, messaged you." I coldly said. After ko ayusin ang sofa bed, I went inside my room. Naligo na ako at di lumalabas ng hallway dahil ayoko sha makita. Nakakainis lang, he hugged me for the whole night and imemeet niya si Xyra!? Wow.
Pag labas ko ng cr, naka robe lang ako and pag pasok ko ng room ko, I saw Nathan sitting on the edge of my bed and knowing that I'll enter. I wasn't shocked when he's here. Luckily I hid all my sticky notes and clear na room ko. He went near me habang nirurub ko ang hair ko using my towel.
"Hey?" He asked and he grabbed my waist near him.
I must admit, kinikilig ako and ready to forgive him.
"I'll just meet her, nag papasama siya sa pag book ng flight niya sa Boracay." He said while looking at my face and umiiwas ako.
Wow! So, nag paalam panga? Nag buntong hininga ako ng patawa and looked at him. Hindi ba alam ng Xyra na yon mag pabook online!? Bobi ka girl? Gosh!
"Then go, and bat ka nag papaalam. Am I your girlfriend?" I said and diniinan ang word na 'girlfriend'.
"Malay mo"
Ngumisi lang siya at hinawakan ang buhok ko. Then slowly, nilapit niya ang muka niya saakin habang hawak niya ang pisngi ko.
Then he kissed me slowly and I was left stunned here. Nabitawan ko ang towel na hawak ko sa hair ko the he stopped to look at it. He chuckled and he look back at me with his killer smile. He kissed my cheeks and whispered.
"Be ready, and get home safe okay?"
