A little flashback to the teenage years. You and Taehyung were a power couple, people despised and envied you two. Taehyung was a businessman while you were his assistant of his company, you used to have multiple jobs but since Taehyung insisted you were his assistant. Many people tried separating you guys but those people only brought you two closer. The bond of you two was unbreakable, you both lived a healthy relationship but... will it last?
Taehyung never hid anything from you. He never once lied to you, like I said, you both lived a healthy relationship. Taehyung tried his best to make you feel loved knowing you never got that in your past years, he was everything to you and you were everything to him. One early morning, the sun was shining bright as day towards the both of you. He shifted to meet your sleepy face, your face snuggled onto the soft pillow. A couple of hair strands on your face, damn did Taehyung adored you. He looked at your face fondly before caressing your soft baby cheek accidentally waking you up.
8:23 A.M; Taehyung's House

"Taehyung-ah" you said with a raspy voice not fully awake having one eye open.
"What are you doing up so early in the morning?" You questioned stretching your legs and snuggled into the blanket even more. Taehyung smiled at your cuteness and pulled the covers over you tucking it in so you're warm and comfortable. Taehyung moved the strands of hair that were covering your face over to the side.
"Well... what can I do when the sun wants my attention?" He said, pulling your body closer to his pecking your every feature.
You smiled at his clinginess in the morning as your heart warmed up from all of his affection.
"What would you like to do today darling?" He asked, laying his head on yours while hugging you and caressing his hand on your shoulder.
"Maybe... the fair? We can go on rollercoasters and... Ooo! Ooo! And maybe get some cotton candy on the way!" You smiled like a kid that just received a candy after a dentist appointment. He chuckled fondly and nodded, giving you a peck on your cheek.
"The fair it is!" You threw your hands in the air cutely as he mimicked you, doing the same.
He received a call, he gave you a quick peck on the lips before answering going to another room. Most likely it's about business, Taehyung was always a busy man and you two barely had time together. But Taehyung manages to make time for you. You continued on snuggling under the covers for a while before making your way to the bathroom to get ready to start the morning. You did your usual morning routine, you washed your face, brushed your teeth, you got the point.
Taehyung walked back to your shared bedroom looking frustrated but once he spotted you it's like all his problems went away. As if they vanished in thin air. He smiled at your figure before wrapping his arms around your waist. He gave you a few pecks on the neck and started sniffing your scent.
"Wowwwwwww my baby smells so good"
You giggled at his comment before turning around. Your back was on the counter and you wrapped your arms around his neck.
"You looked a bit bothered, did something happen at work?" You questioned and soon his smile faded.
"It was nothing really, it's the usual you know company wars. The receptionist received a threat letter to the company but we'll take care of it. It could be a hoax since we received many of those from our enemies but if it isn't we could contact the police if they made any further progress on destroying the company." Your smile turned into a pout as he laid his forehead against yours.
"We'll be safe don't worry I'll take care of it" he spoke out making you a little relieved but still alarmed since it's a threat note but you decided to brush it off.
"Is my baby still on for our date night?" He gave a hopeful smile making you nod. He then left to go make some breakfast for the two of you and you both ate and talked. After a while Taehyung received another call.
"Hello?"
"Mr. Kim we have important matters to take. They are willing to continue making accusations about our company, think about our stocks. Think about our people. They want to meet you and settle down an agreement. Will you be here Mr. Kim?"
Taehyung groaned and looked at you disappointed before asking.
"How long will it take?"
"I'm not sure Mr. Kim"
"I have a date today can we rearrange the meeting by any chance?"
"I'm sorry but I think they're more eager to see you today."
Taehyung ruffled his hair in frustration before agreeing to come to the meeting. He ended the call and placed his phone face down before looking at you.
"I don't know how long this meeting will take but I promise if it takes long I'll make it up to you. Or I'll make it in time for our date so please continue to look forward. I promise I'll make you happy and I won't disappoint." He looked at you sincerely and you nodded. You felt a little disappointed but what could you expect? But you didn't blame him, you knew he didn't mean to hurt you in any way.
"Can I go with you?" You asked
"I need you to stay. I don't want you hurt in any way. It's better to be safe here. We have guards and cameras so I need you to stay safe and don't go anywhere okay?"
He held your hand before kissing the back of it, putting his leathery coat on before waving goodbye. As much as you wanted to follow him and see what's up, he only wants the best for you so you laid back down on the couch. You waited for him while scrolling through social media on your phone to pass time.
11:43 A.M; Kim's Building
Taehyung rushed to his company building, his worker drove him to his destination as he thanked the driver. He walked out of the car impatiently going through the security system and showing his lanyard with a card with all of his work information. He took the elevator and pressed the "4th floor" where his office was located. He was greeted by his guards and finally he opened the door spotting at least six men with a black and white suit. They all looked intimidating but that won't fear Taehyung. At least not now.
"Greetings Mr. Kim" The guy with the fancy watch and chain who Kim Taehyung inferred was the boss.
"Greetings..."
"Call me Mr. Cheng, I would like to do business with you."
"I see. Please. Take a seat. Let's not waste any time" Taehyung said calmly.
"So what's the deal you are willing to make? What is it that 's so important that you need to threaten and spread accusations about our company?"
Mr. Cheng chuckled as he sat down in front of Mr. Kim eyeing him with no fear but a mischievous smirk plastered across his face. He leaned in folding both of his hands together on the desk.
"I see you got the message the threat was to catch your attention. We want some of your profits, your marketing has skyrocketed the stocks game."
"Mr. Cheng", Taehyung chuckles before continuing "why would I do such a thing? There must be a good reason to provoke me."
"Of course Mr. Kim! You didn't let me finish", Mr. Cheng spoke in a confident tone leaving Taehyung a little curious.
"We could work together. Mr. Kim. It will be the best decision you've made! We can make millions. Even billions. Think about it Mr. Kim. Our stuff can help improve your company, we can be worldwide!"
"Really? Please, tell me more" Taehyung asked, not buying his statement.
After a long talk of business and false persuading of usage of their company that is made by Mr. Cheng. Mr. Kim denied the offer.
"Thank you Mr. Cheng for the offer but I won't work with such a businessman. Who spread false and absurd accusations about our company and not only that! You even threaten our company, making me and the receptionist worried and alarmed. Not only that, your offer sounds way too... unrealistic. Please. Pick another company, but I am not willing to work with you." With that Taehyung stood up from his chair and bowed with respect.
"Such an unwise decision to turn down our company this quick without thought Mr. Kim. That's very unlike you." Mr. Cheng spoke out.
"Unwise? Without thought? Mr. Cheng... I already thought about the idea of your company working under us and I don't see it going anywhere. So with all due respect I suggest you leave, I have important matters to go to. This was sort of a waste of time" Taehyung wasted no time to fix his coat before driving back home and be in your arms. Before Mr. Cheng stopped him.
"Waste of time you say? That's not very polite of you Mr. Kim. In fact. Watch what you say to me Mr. Kim because one day. I'll rule your company."
"Excuse me?"
"But as you say. Waste of time. Mr. Kim. Continue on with your life while it lasts and didn't you say you have important matters to get to Mr. Kim? Go on while you can! Enjoy your day before the sun sets" Mr. Cheng smiled innocently before leaving the office with his well-built men behind him. Taehyung was stunned by his words but he shook it off, today was supposed to be your day and he's not going to let anybody ruin it.
3:17 P.M; Taehyung's House

He made his way home just in time for your date with him. He knocked on your door as you opened it seeing the boxy smiley Taehyung in front of your door.
"Is my beautiful darling ready to go to the fair?" He questioned still having that cute smile on his face making you jump excitedly and nodded.
"Give me a few minutes to change my clothes and I'll be right with you~"
"May I join you?" Taehyung said with a smirk making you flustered as you hit Taehyung's chest playfully before you leave to go change.
"I'm right behind you darling~" Taehyung hollered in a playful tone making you holler back.
"Stop it Mr. Kim! You know what you're doing and you need to stop" you yelled back blushing as your heart beat rapidly from the comment, causing butterflies to enter your stomach. He chuckled making his way to your shared bedroom as he leaned on the door frame admiring you putting on his hoodie getting comfortable.
You turned and jumped from his sudden presence on the door frame.
"Kim Taehyung! How long were you there!"
"Long enough to see that beautiful body of yours" he stuck his tongue out to the side, smirking leaving you flustered but you decided to give him a little payback. Though Taehyung is playful he's actually an innocent baby once you get to know him more.
"Kim Taehyung I suggest you stop or instead our date I'll be exploring you instead." You ran your two fingers on his chest and you carefully grabbed his tie pulling him in the bedroom making him fluster. You placed him on the bed and kissed him passionately for a while before pulling away.
"You got that?"
Taehyung nodded before you walked out with a smile on your face. Taehyung changed his business clothes to casual wear. He walked down the stairs meeting you in the living room.
"Ready my darling?" He extended his arm out.
4:48 P.M; The Fair

"Ready" you said cheerfully before linking onto his arm. He took you to the car like a gentleman and drove to the fair. He got out of the car and opened your car door taking you out. The view was just astonishing, the flashing neon lights, you can hear people screaming and laughing, a breeze of the wind blew across your face. You felt calm and happy. Taehyung held your hand and walked to the booth buying both of your tickets to get in. Once you both made it inside the fair you wanted to go on every ride you spotted!
"Oooo! Ooo! Can we go on that ride? Or maybe that ride! No no... we can save that for later... hm... maybe that one!" You pointed at a ride that takes you straight up then a few seconds later they drop down.
"Are you sure?" Taehyung asked nervously and you nodded excitedly
"Unless you're scared~" you teased making him scoff and cocked an eyebrow up.
"Scared? Not even. Let's go" he took your hands and went in line to the ride. You both finally went on it as the worker pulled down the seatbelt.
"A-are you sure about this?" Taehyung once said again, making you chuckle.
"If you're scared you can always hold my hand~" you teased again holding out your hand and he shook his head.
"No I got this! I-it's not that scary." After that both of your seats start rising upwards, you can hear people chatting and giggling. Some were scared and crying. You looked at the view as it continued to rise up, it was a beautiful view, it was as if you could see the world. Taehyung quickly held your hand and you took the opportunity to caress the back of his hand to reassure him that he'll be okay. You smiled at his nervous figure as the ride stopped.
"Ready?" You said making Taehyung even more nervous.
"Re- AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!" He screamed out as the ride dropped, he held your hand tightly squeezing his eyes shut as you smiled and screamed out "WOOOOOOOOOO!" The adrenaline was amazing! Your heart beating rapidly from the fast fall you felt so energetic from the fall. But besides you, Taehyung was having the worst time of his life. He was screaming his lungs out! He was holding your hand and his seatbelt for dear life. As if his soul left his body! Once the ride stopped and you two took off your seatbelts Taehyung was stumbling and you chuckled helping him stand straight.
5:09 P.M

"How was it~?" You asked and he shook his head.
"That was so scary! Pleaseeee I don't wanna go thereeee it felt like my heart was about to jump out on me!" He said with a whiny voice. You smiled at his cuteness and nodded.
"Fine fine... but can we at least go to the roller coasters?" You asked and he nodded.
"A-as long as they're not that scary than sure" he said looking at the ground embarrassed as you pecked his cheek.
"You're such a brave baby Taehyung-ah~" you said and hugged him, making him hug you back with a smile.
"Really? I mean I did go on that scary ride~" he giggled.
After all of that you guys went on multiple rides, some scary ones, some calm ones. You two had the best time of your lives. You guys even went on a "haunted" maze! You guys both screamed and hugged each other from the jump scares and Taehyung tried persuading them with his charm to be a little nice but... that didn't work. You guys went to go get some food since you both were hungry and now you both went on your last ride... the Ferris wheel.
7:35 P.M; Ferris Wheel

Taehyung sat on the seat beside you as the cart began to rise up.
"So... how did you like today's date?" He asked with a smile, holding your hand with his and placing them on his lap.
"It was amazing... thank you" you smiled and gave him a peck. You both got to talk to each other, about life, and about other things you two enjoy. You both laughed and you laid your head on his shoulder making him peck on top of your head.
"Hey Darling?" He asked suddenly as you sat up straight and looked at him.
"Yes TaeTae?"
"I'm so happy that I got to spend some time with you today... I'm looking forward on spending some more time with you as time goes on. You're my happiness and I'll never replace you. You're mine and I'm yours. Thank you for today." He looked up at you and you smiled. You looked away, blushing from his gaze, your heart beating a little faster from his words and look.
"And thank you... my handsome man for taking me out today and for doing your best to make me happy. You always try to make time for me and you always put me first before anything. Not a lot of people get that so... thank you handsome." You smiled at him making him fluster as well. He leaned in and gave you a sweet kiss before the ride ended. You both walked out holding hands.
"Cotton candy before we go?" You smiled holding both of your hands together pleading with a pout. Taehyung chuckled and nodded letting you lead the way. You smiled widely before running to the cotton candy stand. Taehyung was gonna run after you but he felt a sharp pain in his chest area. He looked down and saw blood soaking his shirt. He tried covering it but the blood continuously drained out.
"Taehyung!!!!!" You screamed as tears welled up in your eyes. Your heart was aching. Your knees were weak. You called the ambulance as soon as you could as you ran to Taehyung. It wasn't even a minute and you already saw Taehyung. Bleeding out. He was stabbed. Taehyung cursed under his breath as he felt like his vision was blurring up.
"No no no... Taehyung. Taehyung! Stay here with me! Their coming Taehyung ah. Their coming please please. Don't leave me. Not yet." You cried out trying everything to stop the bleeding. Taehyung looked at you, sweat forming from his forehead. It was slowly getting harder to breathe. The ambulance came and took him and you. You cried onto your hands as Taehyung felt heartbroken seeing you like this.
"D-darling look at me... I-I won't leave you." Taehyung said as you hold onto his hand.
"P-please don't l-leave." You sobbed.
"I'll be okay..." he looked up at you now tears forming into his eyes seeing you in a breakdown state. He was rushed to the hospital and you were there holding his hands, continuously crying. The doctors forced you out of the room so they could treat his wound but not after 10 minutes later the doctor told you to come in.
8:46 P.M; Hospital Room

"Are y-you okay Taehyung? What's going on... a-are you breathing correctly?"
You asked, many what if's and questions filled your head as Taehyung looked at you. His face was paler than usual.
"Baby... Darling." He spoke now breaking down along with you. His tears streamed down his cheek.
"I didn't let the doctors tell you this but... I wanna be able to tell you myself that I'll be leaving. I'm so sorry... I know I said I'll always be there f-for you but." He bit his lower lip, his lips were trembling along with your hands. His tears consciously streaming down his face. You cried and held his hand tighter.
"N-no. You're staying."
"I-I can't. I lost a lot of blood..."
"I'll give you mine!"
"No... no no... you can't. It's already too late and I won't let you either way."
"But you can't leave me Taehyung. You're the only one I have. If you're not here with me. How am I supposed to be happy? How am I going to be excited when you come home with a boxy smile of yours. Taehyung don't leave!"
"You'll find s-someone. I'll always be with you. N-no matter what. I'll continue to stay by your side. Not physically. B-but I will."
You shook your head. As stubborn as you are you couldn't accept his sudden death.
"N-no T-Taehyung!" You cried.
"You have a minute left Mrs. Kim"
The doctor spoke with a sad tone standing there along with his workers.
"You know I love you right? I'll give my whole world for you right? I-I'm sorry that I have to go so soon. I-I never knew this was going to happen."
"This is too soon Taehyung-ah! W-we have a future to look forward to. W-we." You stopped. You felt suffocated. You cried your heart out. You can't lose him.
"W-we have a marriage to look forward t-to. W-we have a lot to look forward to. W-what about our k-kids! D-didn't you want kids? S-someone to call you dad when you come home." You cried out sniffing. You were in pain. It was uncontrollable. As for Taehyung he was heartbroken as well, he cried seeing you cry. He also wanted those things to come true but sadly... it won't.
"6... seconds left... Mrs. Kim."
"Take care of yourself... and please eat regularly I'll always be with you."
"5... seconds."
"I'll always cherish these memories of you with me. I wish I could turn back time to have more time with you if I knew this was going to happen."
"4... seconds."
"I-it's hard and you were once everything to me. I-I'm sorry that it has to be this way. Thank you for bringing out the best of me."
"3..."
"I'll never forget the person who has my heart. No one can replace you. I'll always keep you here. You're the key to enter." He pointed at his chest where his heart was located.
"2..."
"Stay strong for me. Hang in there... I can't wait to see you get married and have kids without me. You'll be happy again."
"1..." Taehyung gave you one last body smile before saying...
"I love you."
