Chapter 12
Answering to death
-Captain Yamamoto’s office- 6:30pm
Haru’s phone vibrated catching Haru of guard. Another alert had appeared.
Rina: What is it?
Haru: “There was another feeble attempt to pry open the barrier. Squad 12 members have managed to capture the intruder this time… Looks like we have some interrogation to do…” She looked over at Rina who nodded.
Yamamoto: I imagine this person is trying to retrieve information from squad 12 archives. All the past experiment has their info stored in the database underground. Is that why you were asked to do Tokuma?
Tokuma: “I was asked to “kill” not to retrieve… other members on my team were to do that… but when I realise my task I turned on my team and killed them instead… I believe one of them manage to escape…”
A flashback occurred Tokuma’s POV: “What has the lord as me to do? Bloody bastard!” Blood and anger fused together as the last knife impaled into his heart… blood spurted everywhere… “the joy and pleasure of putting that blade into the person’s body…” “Its never felt sooo good” I couldn’t help but laugh at how stupid I was… Why didn’t I break away earlier? Why? Why? “This ecstasy… what is it?” Killing for the good… it’s never felt any better.” Bloody wimp nearly peed his pants when he saw his heart dying… slowly… slowly… his life slowly, slowly ungraspable… finally DEAD. I stood in the midst of bloodied and dead bodies… “Damn one escaped… shit…”
Yamamoto: I’m assuming then it’s the one escaped who has come back to seek revenge… and break in…
Tokuma: I would expect so…
Haruna: They currently have him currently locked up in squad 6 barracks behind bars… we shall go and see him… there…
-Squad 6 Barracks-
A tall man of his mid-20s, red haired with unique tattoos led them into the jail area.
Renji: Long time no see Haruna

Mami: “Same here!” She reached out her his hand and bowed as she shook his warm hand.

????: “Talk about yourself dickhead!” He sneered and suddenly launched his clawed hand at off guard Tokuma. Tomo noticed and quickly deflected the attack and turned his wrist into a pain posing tempted to twist further at any sign of protest.
Tokuma: Thank you…
Renji: We tried talking to him but he’d make amusing comments instead of proper answers…
Haru: Well this kid needs a lesson on proper behaviour
????: For the first and LAST TIME I AM NOT A KID!!!
Haru: Sounds like Toshiro…
Tokuma: Yes you are… young teenager!
Rina: Guys quit messing around…
Tokuma: Why did you try attacking again?
????: None of your business traitor…
Rina: if you tell us everything we’ll set you free…
????: None of your business douche!
Rina: “Well then…” unfazed by the rude language
????: Let go!! Trying to pull his arm free, tomo loosen her grip and the boys arm’s slithered away. He hissed at Tomo baring his teeth at her, tomo gave a weird, disgusted look.
Rina repeated her sentence again “tell us what you’re here for… and we’ll set you free…”
????: NO
Rina: “Leaves me with no choice…” her eye once again began to warp and change from white to red and dark brown iris to pure white. The eye struck fear in his emotionless heart as his gaze met the eye. He tried to pull away but it was too late… Seconds ticked ever so slowly as if time didn’t exist. His breathing became shallow and darkness fell like a blanket over his consciousness.
Timeless later…
????: “Where are I?” He heard a chilling laugh in the distance. He looked up to find the sky was blood red, then at the pitch black ground. He still disoriented, the deep red sun came from behind a cloud he tried to shield his eyes from the sudden brightness but something was restricting his arm. He glanced down to shock, horror to find his wrists and ankles were chained to the earth. The chilling laugh ringed once again… this time a little closer to home. Chills rattled his spine and bones. “Who’s there!?” He tried to sound fearless but there was a limit a young boy could stand…
“Who’s there you ask?” A male like hollow voice replied… it laughed at the fear. “Well I’m who I am!” It laughed harder this time and more sinisterly.
“What do you want?” He asked again, confidence crumbling to dust. Never once had he been so afraid.
“What do I want you ask?” it laughed. “Why don’t you ask yourself that?”
“To get the information you about the attack?” he was completely broken down. He would do anything to get out of this nightmare…
“Correct” it hissed… suddenly black mist formed in front of him, towering over.
Fear turned to anger. “DAMN YOU!!!”
“Oh pussy getting a little wet there…?”
“I sense you’re frighten…” “Tell me everything you know about why there is a motive in attack squad 12…”
“Not telling…”
“Tell me!”
“Never!”
“You stubborn child…”
“FUCK YOU!” The mist figure held out a metal stake. The chains around his wrist and ankles immediately disappeared into the earth. Now he was chained flat to the ground. The stake came down….
“Fine I’ll tell I’ll tell!” He didn’t want to die…
The stake stopped centimetres short of his skin and flesh.
“Why were you asked to attack squad 12 labs…?”
“Well… the lord is- is wanting the other part of his experimental papers… so- so- he sent me…”
“What papers are these you are talking about?”
“I-I don’t know…” I was only asked to damage the archives and seek his files…”
“What how do these files help him anyway?”
“Well… I don’t know…”
“You’re Lying!” The stake plunged into his thigh. He howled in agony, the pain was unbearable… he fainted. Once again he woke again… still in the nightmarish world. The black mist figure still stood before him.
“What do these files do?”
“They complete his formula to change the soul society like he pleases…”
“Thank you for your time…”
He blacked again… this time waking up in the cell his was locked in. The girls in the cell door watching him…
Rina: “Well information retrieved...” She smiled.
????: I have forsaken my oath… you cheater….
Rina: I’m sorry but you and your lord have NO right to attack us…
????: That’s what you say…
Rina: Is he right to leave now? Like I said…? Renji?
Renji: He… has to be questioned further…
Rina: Renji… I’ve read his heart and soul… he’s only a young boy… he was ordered to this against his will…

Tokuma: You say that once more… I’ll cut your head off!
????: You dare? He laughed…
Tokuma: You! You! Damn you! AGHHH
Tomo: Forget it…
????: One more thing… if he retrieves the book, the recipe for chaos will be completed and the lord will become an immortal ruler…
Tomo: He’s being deceived by greed… it’s against nature… no one lives forever! Even if they wanted to! Certainly not someone who is blinded…
Tokuma: What about you Quincys who destroyed Hollows!
Tomo: “You still believe those lies?!” She smirked… “Everything in this universe follows a cycle… nothing can be created nothing can be destroyed…” “If you don’t know the whole conspiracy… just keep your mouth shut!” “Don’t step that boundary line or you’ll pay…”
Tokuma: I’m sorry…
????: “Oh I sensed something odd about ya!” “Quincy girl!” he snickered.
Tomo: Don’t mess with me kid…
????: “Oh I’m so scared!” he mocked
“This boy is really getting on nerve…” Koji muttered
Tokuma: He’s been masked by behaviour controllers… let me get rid of it…
The boy stood up and shuffled to Tokuma who stood at the cell door “What’dya gonna do boss?”
Tokuma unsheathed his short sword and grasped in reverse. The boys strung at Tokuma trying to rip his neck… *Swish… splat* the boy eyed his body in shock… “Impossible” he thought… and collapsed on the ground… His rib cage was severed… bones broken blood spluttered out of his arteries… like flumes out of an old exhaust pipe, flooding the tiled floor… “I’m now free of this endless torture…” he thought…
????: “Thanks…” trying to put on a sincere smile before blacking out…
Tokuma wiped the blood of his sword. “Done…” he said.
The girls, Koji and Renji stared with utter disbelief. They were all too shocked for works
Haru: W-why…? She whispered….
Tokuma: It’s for his own good… once he lets out the truth the oath he is bound to kill him… Besides there’s limited trust you can have with these kids… their brainwash to lie
Mami: But if we can’t trust him, how can we trust you!?!
Tokuma: Well that’s up to you… but I’m true to my word you can sure about that.
Koji: You killed a frinking kid!
Tokuma: So…? If I don’t kill him who knows which one of your lives will end? He’s one of the most dangerous kids that man possesses!
Koji: You coldblooded killer… his eyes narrowed with disbelief…
Tokuma: Do remember I possess the spirit of the sacred serpent… foxy…
Koji: Don’t call me that! Snake…
