i wake up to noah and chloe talking i don't wanna interrupt their conversation so i pretend i'm still asleep on noahs shoulder
"you guys are so cute like you're arm is asleep and you won't move because you don't wanna wake her up like i wish someone liked me like that" i hear chloe say
"yeah she's also pretty cute when she sleeps so it's a plus" noah says with a laugh
"um hey chlo can i talk to you about something serious" noah says with a bit of seriousness in his voice
"yeah what's up"
"i think i'm in love with her"
"oh woah"
"and i'm afraid that if i tell her she won't say it back"
"you'll know when the time is right noah and if she doesnt say it back maybe she's scared or not ready but i know she loves you so don't worry it'll all be ok"
"thanks chloe i needed that"
"no problem that's what i'm here for"
they talked for a bit more until i finally pretended to wake up. i can't believe he loves me. i definitely love him but i'm gonna wait for the right time.
"hey noah" i say fake tired
"hey noodle how was your sleep"
"it was good, your shoulder is very comfortable" i laugh and so does he
"we should probably head downstairs" chloe says and noah and i agree we head down and see everyone's parents i meet all of them and they're so sweet. noahs parents made the food and we all sat around the table ate and said the things were thankful for. after that we ate and played some family games. i was so happy to be with such great people, even if my parents weren't here
noahs pov
i'm up in my room and see my mom coming up
"hey mom" i say as my mom walks up to me
"where's noelles parents i haven't seemed to find them yet" she asks i frown
"oh uh they cancelled last minute for some business trip thing"
"is she ok"
"yeah i think she's fine, she seems like she's holding up well"
"somethings bugging you honey" my mom says
"i already talked to chloe about this, i love her i just don't know if she loves me back"
"i can tell by the way she looks at you. it's true love"
"we've only known each other for such little time though how can we be in love already"
"i don't know sweetheart but i know love when i see it and it's you both"

i hear footsteps come to my room it's noelle
"hi mrs schnapp"
"hi noelle how was your thanksgiving"
"it was good how about you"
"mine was good too, i'm gonna leave you guys alone who wants a mom around when you have friends" she laughs and noelle smiles

noelle and i do our usual nightly routine where we watch some outerbanks go live and afterwards have deep late night conversations until one of us falls asleep.
